Woman Irritated by Plane Passenger Behind Her—Then She Sees Who It Is

A tired woman wanted to avoid a fight after being touched by the plane passenger sitting behind her, but what she realized two hours later left her cracking up.
On a redeye flight from Palm Beach International Airport in Florida to New York, Instagram user @curly_travel_magic kept feeling a passenger behind her kicking her feet. She let it slide the first two times it happened to avoid a confrontation. However, a third time started to put her over the edge.
"I did get just a little upset after the third touch," she told Newsweek via TikTok. "But I never thought of kicking back. I wanted to avoid a fight."
Each time she was touched, she kept wondering how someone could have such long toes or feet. But with the lights off on the night flight, she couldn't see. Curiosity finally got the best of her.

She turned on her phone flashlight during the last few minutes of the flight to discover not a person kicking her, but a dog. Stunned and frankly relieved, she started filming and posted her realization in a June 6 Instagram video.
The dog's head poked out from under her seat with his snoot by her heels. This finally explained the wetness she felt. Being the good boy he was, he kept quiet the entire trip. She couldn't resist saying hello, so she gently tapped his head.
Thinking back, the situation could've ended worse. She wrote in the text on the video that she was glad she didn't lose her temper when she originally thought a person was not respecting flight etiquette.
What Do the Comments Say?
Instagram viewers immediately expressed their jealousy, wondering why they never get great seatmates like this dog. The clip reached more than 589,000 views and 13,700 likes as of Thursday.
"Oh wow, I'll have those slimy feet any time. Beautiful little guy," commented one person.
Another added: "I'm not a dog person, but I'd rather have a doggy there than somebody's feet."
A third pointed out: "You must have regretted knowing this late." The original poster responded that she would have cuddled the dog more if she had known sooner.

LG StanbyME review: This portable TV on wheels is the smartest and most attractive small space solution I've found
Like all great things in the modern era, I first saw LG's portable StanbyME TV on TikTok. As a New York City apartment dweller, I'm always looking for space-saving options. And though I've never liked the idea of a TV in the bedroom, there are evenings when all I want to do is crawl into bed and watch reality TV. But I do way more than just watch TV in bed with my LG StanbyME. I bring it into the bathroom to watch movies while I take a bath. I play recipe videos on it while I cook. I even take it on the balcony so I can watch TV while getting sun. This unique 27-inch display is completely portable, with a built-in battery and a rollable stand with five wheels. While its 1080p picture quality doesn't come close to matching the best TVs (and it's costly for a 27-inch screen), I think it fills a niche need for a portable TV almost perfectly — here's why. Why I love the LG StanbyME It moves up and down and can be adjusted from counter-height to the perfect viewing angle for lying in the tub and watching a show. There are wheels on the bottom that are big enough that you can easily roll it over rugs and door sills without issue. The screen swivels so you can always adjust the angle and the orientation, which makes it useful for streaming videos from all platforms, including TikTok and YouTube. It works with both a remote and a touchscreen, so you can lie back and control it when you're using it as a television and use the touchscreen when you need to use it as a tablet. The battery lasts around three hours if you're using it as a television, which is plenty for me. I usually have it plugged in if I'm marathoning movies in bed, but three hours is absolutely enough otherwise. It uses LG's smart TV interface to access the best streaming services, allowing you to watch your favorite content. Cons to consider When I first showed my fiancé (who majored in electrical engineering and now works as a software engineer) the listing for this television, he sputtered at the price for the picture quality and size. He was insistent that it cost too much for what it was and immediately began brainstorming solutions that could execute the same concept for a lower cost. He researched rolling stands and smart TVs that could fit on them. He looked up large tablets, ways to deal with cords, and floor stands that almost worked but had no wheels and wouldn't fit a screen large enough. After all his research, he conceded that there really wasn't a better, cheaper option for exactly what I needed. I've heard the StanbyME referred to in other reviews as a "so-so TV on a stellar stand," and I think that's a fair assessment. But if, like me, you aren't picky about picture quality and are primarily focused on convenience, I think it's 100% worth it. The bottom line I wanted a portable TV with a battery that I could use by the bathtub, in bed, in the kitchen, and even outside. After nearly two years of daily use, I can confirm that this is indeed the solution I was looking for. If you're struggling with how to fit a TV into your small or atypical space, I highly recommend you check out the StanbyME; it's an elegant and smart alternative to devoting space to a permanent TV fixture in your home.

Dad Throws His 7-Year-Old Son Off Cliff to Teach Him a Lesson About Facing Fears
Garrett Gee, known as The Bucket List Family creator on social media, shared a video of himself throwing his 7-year-old son off a cliff in Lake Powell The father of five recognized that "most people won't love" his parenting style on cliff jumping, but went on to explain his thought process with a lengthy caption alongside the clip Gee made clear that he prioritized "safety" and stressed the importance of teaching his kids that they "can do hard things"Everyone has their own parenting style. As for Garrett Gee, the popular influencer best known as "The Bucket List Family" founder, his parenting style may take some by surprise as illustrated in a recent video shared on Instagram that features him throwing his 7-year-old son off a cliff in an attempt to help him conquer his fears. "Most people won't love how we teach our kids how to cliff jump," Gee writes in text over the video, which has racked up over 3.5M views since it was posted on Sunday, July 13. The clip shows Garrett with his son, Calihan, standing on a massive rock formation in Lake Powell and seemingly pep talking him about the jump into the water down below. Ultimately, he picks his little one up and tosses him off the cliff as he makes the plunge. After he surfaced, Calihan — who screamed on the way down, but popped up with a smile on his face — was joined by his dad, who jumped in beside him and greeted him with a thumbs up and a smile. The young boy was also met with cheers from onlookers supporting him from afar. Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. The father of three paired the video with a lengthy caption that explains his decision to throw his son off the cliff, where he clarified that his post is "NOT parental advice" nor "something [he advises] you try." He also made clear that this tactic isn't one they've done with their other two kids. "Each kid is quite different so the way we parent, discipline, and teach HOW TO CLIFF JUMP is quite different :) For sure 1st priority is safety. 2nd is learning that YOU CAN DO HARD THINGS. 3rd is HAVE FUN :)," Garrett began in the caption. "Well speaking of the top priority, safety... We took our youngest Cali to a cliff height that we knew he would be safe. Really the biggest danger would be if he hesitated, didn't jump far out, and fell down the cliff side," he continued. To be "extra safe," Garrett said he "threw him" because "he wanted to jump but was not feeling confident," adding, "Eventually a baby eagle needs to leave the nest... or be tossed out of the nest ;) and learn HE CAN FLY!" He concluded, "But warning : teaching your kids to be brave starts to backfire when they become older and begin jumping from heights that you don't even dare!! /// BE SAFE OUT THERE! YOU CAN DO HARD THINGS! HAVE FUN!" The comment section was filled with mixed thoughts and opinions from the 3M-plus viewers who watched the viral clip. Many also asked questions, to which Garrett replied with further explanation. "Honest question, no judgement. Did he know he was going to be thrown?" inquired one user. The content creator replied, "YES. He had the choice to climb down, jump himself, or have me throw him. He chose to be thrown. But regardless it was still scary for him. Scary for me too because I need to make sure he doesn't cling onto me and hit the cliffs and also make sure he hits the water feet first. Kinda tricky but I feel like it's part of the dad job description ;)." "The scream says it all. He's not ready. I hate this for him," wrote another user. "He chose to be thrown and they have built that trust all his life ♥️," commented a third. "Love that you all are confident enough in your parenting to show this!" wrote a fourth, and a fifth commented, "My father did the same to me 😂 I loved it and remember it until now! 🔥." Cliff jumping is just the latest extreme activity the Gees have introduced to their children and shared on their social media platform since creating The Bucket List Family nearly 10 years ago in August 2015. (Others include surfing with sharks and interacting with an octopus, for example). The content creators, who describe themselves as "5 family travel journalist," sold everything one decade ago before leaving their home for a journey around the world together. They launched an Instagram and a YouTube channel under the moniker that's amassed millions of followers to date. The family first made headlines in 2015 after Snapchat bought Garrett's mobile scanning app for $54 million and he and his wife, Jessica, decided to sell everything they owned in Utah to travel the world. is now available in the Apple App Store! Download it now for the most binge-worthy celeb content, exclusive video clips, astrology updates and more! Garrett and his wide, Jessica (CEO of The Bucket List Family), set out with their three kids — Dorothy Seven, Manilla and Calihan "Cali" Gee — on a family adventure with several goals in mind, eventually visiting 65 different countries within three years. After living on the road full-time for three years, the Gees settled down in Hawaii in July 2018. They continue to chronicle their adventures on social media, in addition to contributing to National Geographic via writing and photography. Read the original article on People
