24 Orange Pieces Inspired By Taylor Swift's New Era
It all started on August 11, when Travis and Jason Kelce's podcast New Heights teased a special guest for its August 13 episode by posting a Swift-like silhouette against a glittery orange background. That same day, fan page Taylornation shared a collage of Taylor in various orange looks from her Eras Tour. Hours later, her website launched a mysterious countdown—and by August 12, the reveal dropped. In a teaser clip for the episode, Taylor pulled her 12th studio album from an orange T.S.–monogrammed briefcase while wearing brick-orange lipstick. Her site promptly reopened in a full orange-and-mint-green makeover, complete with album pre-orders.
In the full New Heights episode, Taylor announced the album will debut October 3 with 12 tracks, featuring producers Max Martin and Shellback (her Red, 1989, and Reputation collaborators) and a guest spot from Sabrina Carpenter on the title track. Travis even mentioned that the album is 'a lot more upbeat' and that all the songs are ~naturally~ "bangers."
While discussing her Easter egg–filled rollout, Taylor shared that her walk through the door at the final Eras Tour show symbolized her stepping into a new era. 'Orange feels like energetically how my life has felt,' she said, adding that the album reflects the vibrant, electric energy she experienced behind the scenes during the tour.

'Chiefs Kingdom' had best Taylor Swift reactions from Travis Kelce teammates
A behind-the-scenes look at the Kansas City Chiefs premiered this week with the first episode of the ESPN docuseries "Chiefs Kingdom" debuting on Thursday. The six-episode series is centered around last season's Super Bowl run by the Chiefs, with a focus on the team's history and head coach Andy Reid. But recent Chiefs content also means we get more insight into tight end Travis Kelce and his then-new relationship with pop star Taylor Swift. The 14-time Grammy winner started dating Kelce in the summer of 2023, with the singer attending several home and some away games for Kansas City over the last two seasons. Swift, who just broke the internet with her 2-hour podcast with Kelce and his brother Jason on New Heights this week, garnered attention when she went to her first Chiefs game in September of 2023. Interviews with defensive tackle Chris Jones and quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the series discussed exactly that moment that they realized Kelce did, in fact, get Swift to come to a game. "Taylor Swift's here? For real? With Travis? Oh my god!" Jones said during an interview in the episode. "We were like, 'Oh my god, Travis pulled Taylor Swift!'" You can watch all six episodes of "Chiefs Kingdom" now on the ESPN app through ESPN+.

Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Brothers Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce may be in for a big pay day following their New Heights podcast interview with Taylor Swift. Newsweek reached out to New Heights' YouTube channel via email for comment on Friday. Why It Matters On Tuesday, Swift, 35—who has been dating Travis since 2023—announced her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, in a teaser video for Wednesday's New Heights episode. The pop star, whose net worth is approximately $1.6 billion, per Forbes, dropped the news after months of album speculation. It also came on the heels of her wildly popular Eras Tour, which broke 18 records during its 21-month run. What To Know Swift's New Heights episode on YouTube currently has over 15 million views. While it's unclear exactly how much the Kelce siblings will earn from the two-hour interview, Business Insider previously reported that YouTube videos with 1 million plus views could earn creators thousands. In their article titled: "How Much Money YouTube Pays for 1 Million Views, According to 3 Creators," YouTubers Semide ASMR, Jade Darmawangsa and Shelby Church shared their earnings. "Semide has two videos with over 1 million views on YouTube and a few others just below that mark. Typically, these videos will earn between $2,500 to $4,000 in ad revenue, she said in December 2020," Business Insiderreported. "One of Semide's most popular videos had about 1.1 million views and had earned about $3,470, according to a screenshot of her dashboard viewed by Insider." In Darmawangsa's case, "Her video titled 'How to grow on Instagram' had earned about $3,600, from 1.2 million views, when Insider viewed a screenshot of her dashboard in May 2020." As for Church, "a YouTuber who had about 1.6 million subscribers when she spoke with Insider in 2020, videos with about 1 million views had earned her between $2,000 and $30,000 depending on the video subject, she told Insider in January 2020." Last year, the Kelces reportedly signed a $100 million podcast deal with Wondery, Amazon's podcast streamer. Jason Kelce, who played for the Philadelphia Eagles for 13 seasons, announced his retirement in March. In addition to podcasting, the 37-year-old is also an analyst on ESPN's Monday Night Countdown and hosts the network's late-night talk show called They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce. Travis Kelce is a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs and was named one of the highest-paid NFL players in 2024 by Forbes. According to the outlet, football generates approximately $17.1 million for him, while his off-field income is estimated at $35 million. "The largest chunk of Kelce's money will come from the New Heights podcast he co-hosts with his brother," Forbes reported. The 35-year-old is also the host of Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? and has dabbled in acting, most recently starring in Happy Gilmore 2. Taylor Swift vs. Trump on Joe Rogan—Chart Reveals How Podcasts Performed
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Taylor Swift's recent appearance on the New Heights podcast alongside her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce, who host the show, has achieved meteoric podcasting success. New Heights, which has 3 million subscribers on YouTube, is primarily a sports podcast, but has become a platform for candid conversations and insights into the lives of the Kelce brothers, who are both football players. Jason plays for the Philadelphia Eagles and Travis, 35, for the Kansas City Chiefs. Rumors that Swift would appear on the podcast began swirling on Monday when, despite being on hiatus, they teased a "very special guest" along with a profile that looked like Swift. It was confirmed on Tuesday, when a teaser clip showing Swift revealing a new album was released. The furor in the run-up to the episode, which marked the first podcast appearance for the singer, sparked comparisons with the response to the news that Donald Trump would be appearing on The Joe Rogan Experience in the run-up to the election. His episode, which aired live on October 25, was hugely successful, becoming Rogan's most-viewed YouTube video and prompting some to credit it with helping him win the election. The three-hour interview, which touched on topics ranging from the 2020 election to extraterrestrial life, cemented the powerful influence the podcasting medium holds in the current media landscape. Supporters of both the president and the singer, who has publicly supported Democrats in the past, speculated on social media about whether she would be able to bring in a bigger audience than the now-president did. Newsweek reached out to Joe Rogan and Travis Kelce's publicists for comment via email. The gap widened 24 hours after airing, as Rogan achieved double the streaming success on the platform, reaching 26 million views. The Kelce brothers hit 13 million streams in the same time frame, according to Variety. How Many People Subscribed?
