Michelle Monaghan 'craved' return to The White Lotus hairstyle
The 49-year-old actress - who played TV actress Jaclyn Lemon in the third season of HBO's anthology series - loving going blonde for the show and matching her co-stars Carrie Coon (Laurie Duffy) and Leslie Bibb (Kate Bohr), although she had to go back to brunette after filming due to other commitments.
However, she told PEOPLE magazine: "I'm craving that change again and that transformation. I just wanted to be lighter and brighter for this summer.
"I'm really excited to shed the brunette once again and get to play around with being blonde."
Michelle doesn't necessarily want to match Jacyln's look, and she's keen to find a balance between that and her usual style.
She added: "I don't think we'll be as blonde as Jaclyn, but I think we'll be somewhere in between."
She'll be getting some help from Goldwell colourist Kirby Lago, who thinks a "buttery, warm" vibe is best.
Kirby told the outlet: "I'm creating a really soft hazel base and then really popping it with some buttery warm blonde tones. It'll be really nice on her skin tone."
She explained that she's using a range of Goldwell products to help, including the "really luxurious" SilkLift range, and both the Bond Pro and Bond Pro II.
She added: "That's the thing with blondes now, hair needs to look glossy and healthy. Gone are the days of really over-processed blondes that are a matte porous texture.
"It's really important that the hairstylists are taking the steps to nourish and look after the hair as it's lifting.
"Now all of a sudden it's, 'Wow, I can go this blonde and it can feel soft and touchable and shiny and I don't need to put [extensions] in. That's a win-win for everybody."
Meanwhile, Michelle was surprise by the way the trio's blonde looks caught on with The White Lotus fans.
She said: "[Show creator] Mike [White] was like, 'I really want all of you to be a big blonde blob.'
"Which is why he wanted me to go blonde. We had no idea that the blonde, [Leslie's] bob, all of the things would take hold in the way that they did."

And Just Like That … the Sex and the City reboot is wrapping up. The series will come to an end with the two-part finale of the third season, which is currently airing. Ten episodes have been released, and the twelfth will be its last, as showrunner Michael Patrick King confirmed on Friday, US time. The cast – excluding lead star Sarah Jessica Parker, who also serves as an executive producer – was told just one day earlier, according to Deadline. 'And just like that … the ongoing storytelling of the Sex And The City universe is coming to an end,' said King in a message posted to Instagram. 'While I was writing the last episode of And Just Like That … season 3, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop. Along with Sarah Jessica Parker, Casey Bloys and Sarah Aubrey, we decided to end the popular series this year with a two-part finale and extended the original series order from 10 episodes to 12. 'SJP and I held off announcing the news until now because we didn't want the word 'final' to overshadow the fun of watching the season. It's with great gratitude we thank all the viewers who have let these characters into their homes and their hearts over these many years.' Following the release of King's statement, Parker took to Instagram with an emotional tribute to the character she's played for almost three decades, sharing a monstage of clips and a lengthy poem. 'Carrie Bradshaw has dominated my professional heartbeat for 27 years. I think I have loved her most of all,' the actress wrote. 'I know others have loved her just as I have. Been frustrated, condemned and rooted for her. The symphony of all those emotions has been the greatest soundtrack and most consequential companion. Therefore the most sentimental and profound gratitude and lifetime of debt. To you all.' Parker went on to describe her work on the reboot as a 'joy, adventure, the greatest kind of hard work', and credited the cast and crew as being 'the most extraordinary talent of 380 that includes all the brilliant actors who joined us.' The sequel to the hugely popular original Sex and the City series, which ran from 1998 until 2004 and later featured two films, premiered in December 2021. Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis all reprised their roles in And Just Like That, although Kim Cattrall declined to take part following her widely-publicised feud with Parker. The new series also starred Sarita Choudhury and Nicole Ari Parker, along with original SATC supporting cast members including Chris Noth (albeit for one episode), David Eigenberg, John Corbett, Mario Cantone and Evan Handler. The first season saw Carrie (Parker) grappling to rebuild her life after the sudden death of her husband and longtime love, Mr. Big (Noth), while Miranda (Nixon) explored her sexuality with non-binary comedian Che Diaz (Sara Ramirez) amid the demise of her marriage to Steve (Eigenberg). Season two romantically reunited Carrie with Aidan (Corbett), her ex-boyfriend from the original series, Charlotte (Davis) navigated family challenges, and Miranda moved to LA to be with Che, where things quickly between them quickly fell apart. The current run of episodes has seen NYC-based Carrie and Aidan struggle to stay together as he deals with his son's issues back in Virginia, and as she gets closer to her neighbour, a British author.

Jason Momoa believes it's his "destiny" to tell the story of Hawaii. The Aquaman star explores his Hawaiian heritage in new Apple TV+ series Chief of War - which tells the story of the unification of the islands at the turn of the 18th century - and he is convinced the stars have aligned to bring him to a place in his career where he could show the lives of his ancestors onscreen. He told PEOPLE: "I feel like this whole thing has chosen me in a way, like this is my destiny," he says. "I have no idea how I got to all this, but we're here, and I'm very grateful. I'm living my dream doing what I love to do. To play my ancestors is such a responsibility. It's scary and exciting." Jason added: "My dad is a coach at an outrigger canoe club, which is where I learned how to surf. " I feel like I've been mismanaged and people don't really know who I am, since the beginning, so now I finally get a chance to [show] 'No, I can direct and write'." Jason went on to applaud bosses at Apple for taking a chance on a show about Hawaii's history, adding: "It's a bold thing to do. "I think Apple had a lot of trust in us, because there's nothing to prove it against. No one's ever heard the language. There's a lot of actors that have never been seen before. It's a lot ... "There's a lot of change and a lot to bring back of a culture that was … Our language is banned from us and we're getting it back. A lot of our art … We're part of America and I don't think anyone really knows anything about us. "[We] really have to celebrate Apple for just taking on something that's this big, and putting the trust in me ... "
