Aamir Khan, who is gearing up for his new film Sitaare Zameen Par, broke down in his recent interview when he said how he regretted not spending enough time with his family.
The actor said, 'I decided to quit before Laal Singh Chadha. I was going through a personal journey of my own. Towards the end of Covid, I suddenly realised that I have spent the bulk of my adult life, starting from the age of 18 right upto now, all of my bandwidth and focus has been on cinema and films.'

'As a result, I felt that I haven't been there enough for my relationships – my kids, siblings, and family. Whether it was Kiran or Reena, when I was married to them. I felt that I wasn't there for these people enough. This was midway through Laal Singh Chadha, because half the film was shot before Covid and the other half happened after that,' added Khan.
He further said, 'So, in the middle of Covid, I went through an emotional moment where I felt that I have given my whole life to cinema and I haven't been there for my family. I felt a lot of guilt and didn't feel good about what I had done. And, I have done enough films in the past 35 years, I can now focus on my family. I am glad I realised this at the age of 56-57 and not 88, it would have been too late by then, at least now I can do something..'
Sitaare Zameen Par
Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par is a spiritual sequel to his 2007 hit Taare Zameen Par. The film is slated to release on June 20 but as per a report by Bollywood Hungama, may have hit a roadblock due to the censor board.
A source was quoted saying, 'The CBFC have asked for two cuts. Aamir Khan feels the film should be passed without these cuts. He and director R S Prasanna have made the film with a lot of thought. Certain scenes and dialogues, when seen in context, seem completely appropriate.'

After Aishwarya Rai, Wamiqa Gabbi also speaks about Karan Johar's support for Alia Bhatt: 'I want to steal him', the internet applauds her

A few years ago, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had said in an interview that the kind of support Alia Bhatt has from Karan Johar is incredible. She had said in an interview, "I've said this to her also — it's fantastic for you, the kind of support Karan has given to her from the beginning. To have that kind of establishment with you is very comforting. It's not tough to have it laid out for you for the longest time.' She had further added in this interview with Bollywood Hungama, 'It's great for you as an actor, as there is only good work and good opportunities ahead. What's nice is she's also doing good work along with great opportunities, which are virtually there on her lap, literally, regularly. So, it's nice she is doing good work within that. So kudos.' ‘Tough, but not impossible': After Deepika Padukone's 8-hour work demand, Genelia and Chitrangda share their thoughts

One of the most talked about controversies in Tinsel Town this month was Deepika Padukone's exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's next film Spirit and the rumoured reasons behind it. Some reports suggested that Deepika walked out because she was uncomfortable doing bold scenes whereas other rumours claimed that the new mother demanded a strict 8-hour work day, 6 of them being shoot time. Almost everyone in the industry had an opinion about the work schedule debate, speaking from their personal experiences. The latest in this list are Deepika's fellow actors Genelia Deshmukh and Chitrangda Singh. A post shared by Sun Pictures (@sunpictures) Genelia Deshmukh is currently busy gearing up for her next release Sitaare Zameen Par, co-starring Aamir Khan. In a recent chat with Zoom, the actor and mother of two children opened up about managing her work life, personal life and making adjustments along the way. Genelia was quoted saying, 'It is tough, but it is not impossible. I do work for 10 hours a day, and there are days when the director asks to extend it to 11 or 12 hours. I think it's fair, but we just need time to make those adjustments. When you have a day or two where you have to overdo, it's also an understanding and a process that needs to be done.' A post shared by Genelia Deshmukh (@geneliad) Housefull 5 actor Chitrangda Singh, on the other hand, had a neutral approach on this debate. She claimed that it all depends on the personal relationship of an actor and a director and the requirements of a filmmaker. Talking to IANS, Chitrangda explained that if a filmmaker can manage the work-schedule requested by an actor, they might agree to work around it. However, sometimes this is not possible because of time and money restraints. A post shared by Chitrangda Singh (@chitrangda) Talking about Deepika's rumoured reason for exiting Spirit, Chitrangda shared, 'So I feel it is everyone's own choice and I think Deepika is a very big actress and it is her right to make a choice, it's her privilege to make a choice.' Animal star Triptii Dimri has now been roped in by Sandeep Reddy Vanga for Prabhas-starrer Spirit. Deepika, on the other hand, has announced her next film with Atlee and Allu Arjun, tentatively titled AA22xA6.

This announcement comes after reports claimed that the release of the film would be stalled over certification issues. Unconfirmed reports even claimed that Khan's objections to making some cuts in the film, was a possible reason for the delay. The film also introduces 10 newcomers — Aroush Datta , Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar — adding fresh talent to the ensemble cast.
