Harshad Arora Joins Ravie Dubey And Sargun Mehta's Haale Dil, To Romance Manisha Rani
Last Updated:
In Haale Dil, Harshad Arora plays the character of Vivek, a man whose journey is defined by emotional growth and relationship dynamics.
Harshad Arora, who will soon be seen in Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta's Haale Dil, which is produced under the couple's banner Dreamiyata Dramaa and will stream on its official YouTube channel, is happy with the name of the show as he believes it beautifully portrays the show's essence. The story focuses on two couples and their intricate relationships, and the actor feels the name resonates deeply with the emotional highs and lows that define the characters' journeys.
'Haale Dil is a perfect title for the show because the show revolves around the story of two couples, and the way their relationships progress. There are a lot of moments between the couples where there is love and hate, there is trust, there is a lot of guilt, and it goes through a lot of ranges of emotions. So, I think the name Haale Dil justifies the entire plot of the show really well," he said.
The actor plays the character of Vivek, a man whose journey is defined by emotional growth and relationship dynamics. 'He goes through a transition, and it was a lot of fun while performing those scenes," he said.
He is hopeful that the audience will like the gradual change in the character as the show progresses and added, 'There's a beautiful arc that we have for the character, his relationship with Dolly and Indu and his family.'
While Harshad doesn't directly relate to Vivek, he stressed that every actor brings a piece of themselves into their roles. 'You do kind of put some real elements of yourself in the character to, you know, give it that authenticity," he said, emphasising his effort to make the performance as real and believable as possible.
He also reflected on how Vivek differs from his past roles and mentioned that each new character is a unique blend of familiar and unfamiliar traits. 'You do pick some elements, some layers from different characters that you perform, and you make a new character, work on some extra emotions, some extra quirks and traits, which kind of develops into a new beautiful character, a new journey," Harshad ended.

"Need To Come Sit With Me...": Ricky Ponting's Epic Reply To Preity Zinta Question
One of the most successful captains of his time, Ricky Ponting is an icon in the global cricketing spectrum. Now a coach and mentor, Ponting played a pivotal role in Punjab Kings' qualification into the final of the IPL 2025 season. Though the franchise lost the title-decider to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Ponting's efforts received praise from all across the cricketing spectrum. However, there are certain traits of Ponting, the coach, that the franchise's co-owner, Preity Zinta, hasn't been able to understand. In a candid chat with the PBKS coach, Preity asked how someone like Ponting, who was so aggressive as a cricketer on the field, can be so calm in the dugout? "How does somebody be so aggressive on the ground and as a person, but be so calm and chilled out?," the actress asked. Ponting stumped Zinta with his reply, saying that it isn't actually the case. To experience this, she should come down from the stands and sit with him in the dugout. "You need to come and sit next to me in the dugout sometimes, because you will see that it's not always calm. Look, I'm an aggressive-natured person, especially when it's cricket time," the former Australia captain said. Ponting mentality - Train with passion, roar with aggression Don't miss the full video on our YouTube channel and app. — Punjab Kings (@PunjabKingsIPL) June 7, 2025 Ponting further delved into his personality as a coach, saying he intends to bring out the best version of himself as a coach and also help the players bring out their best every single time. "I'll have a laugh and a joke and a coffee and a sit down with anyone and talk about anything outside of cricket time. But when it's cricket time, it's my job to bring high performance to this team. And so I'm not gonna waste a minute, I'm not gonna waste a day, I'm not gonna waste a training session where I'm not trying to be the best coach that I can be and make every single player that's playing with me the best player that they can be," said Ponting.

Aamir Khan calls Sitaare Zameen Par's release ‘ill-timed', expresses concern about its box office performance: ‘I'm stressed only action films are working'
Aamir Khan's much-awaited comedy-sports drama Sitaare Zameen Par is set to hit theatres on June 20. Ahead of its release, the actor-filmmaker has expressed doubts about the film's box office prospects. During a conversation with Galatta Plus, Aamir shared his concern about Sitaare Zameen Par doing well at the box office. He said, 'When I look at the film today, I think I am quite happy with it. I think what we set out to make, we have made. Will it work at the box office? I have no idea. The fact of the matter is, throughout my career, whenever my film is released, I suddenly become aware. My film is a comedy, but right now only action is working. When Ghajini came, my film was action, but action wasn't working then. Nobody wants to see action.' The actor added, 'My film always releases at a time when it's completely ill-timed. When my comedy film comes out, action films are working. So I am constantly stressed that I don't know right now everyone wants to see action. The last 12 films have been action and blockbusters. So while I believe that it's a very heartwarming and beautiful story which will connect very deeply with people, that's what I am hoping. But right now, everyone wants to see action films.'
