Indy Clinton hires private investigator to complete dossier on trolls leaving hurtful comments on her social media
Indy Clinton has revealed she has hired a private investigator to get the private details of those people leaving hurtful or 'troll' comments on her popular social media accounts.
The mother-of-three, who has 650,000 Instagram followers, confirmed the move via a video.
'How it feels receiving a 64-page report from my PI after an extensive three-month investigation on all my ladies (mothers) who have continuously bullied, defamed and trolled me and my family for months n months and even years,' she wrote.
Clinton looked pleased with herself as she danced around in the clip, including completing a number of jubilant twirls.
Clinton divided opinion with the move, being praised by some of Australia's biggest names.
'Think I might do this too. You are not anonymous trolls,' AFL WAG Rebecca Judd wrote.
'Queen sh*t,' Perth influencer, Em Davies, added.
'This. I found out who my troll was too - it was one of my clients. Blew my mind that most 'trolls' are people we know,' Felicity Morgan wrote.
Trolling remains a grey area when it comes to the law. However, if the harassment passes the legal threshold for adult abuse, it can be reported to the eSafety commissioner.
The harassment could also contravene existing defamation or harassment laws.
Other followers were less sympathetic.
'So, you got a PI because people troll you. Yet, you're the one that puts up all the ridiculous things you do. Exploiting your children and husband then you complain because people make harsh comments. Yet, it's never affected you enough to stop posting. You just found a new angle to get attention,' one person wrote.
'Have fun with that. Trolling isn't illegal,' another wrote.
'Your weird,' another added.
Clinton spoke to The Daily Telegraph about her decision to hire a private investigator.
'Some of the defamatory things which have been said about me in recent years are extremely distressing,' Clinton began.
'I will use my platform and my voice to not only spread awareness but to make an impact.'
Clinton then spoke about the toll trolling has taken on her.
'Lives are being taken,' she said.
'For me - a few months ago - what I endured was life or death.'

Anna Camp defends age-gap romance
Anna Camp has defended her age-gap romance after going public with new girlfriend Jade Whipkey. The Pitch Perfect star, 42, unveiled her new relationship with Jade, who is 18 years her junior, when they walked the red carpet together at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie Bride Hard last Wednesday (18.06.25) and now Anna has hit back at criticism by insisting Jade is "far more mature" than any of the men her age she's previously dated. The pair previously answered questions about their dating history in a TikTok question-and-answer video posted back in February. In the clip, Anna opened up about her worst date, saying: "I left a date once because a guy was like 45 minutes late and I stayed and waited. "Then he said that I was prettier in a movie than I was in person, because I'm an actor, and I was like: 'Okay, bye'." Anna then asked Jade: "What about you, babe?" and she replied: "I think it was the only date I ever went on with a boy. And he kept calling me 'f*****' the whole time." When asked what they "expect" during a date with a man, Anna replied: "I don't expect anything. Not anymore because I'm dating a woman, and it's great." Samantha Barks welcomes a daughter
Samantha Barks has welcomed her second child with her husband Alex Stoll. The Les Miserables star, 34, took to Instagram on Sunday (22.06.25) to confirm the she's has given birth to a daughter named felicity, who joins the couple's son Raphael, who was born in 2023. Sharing a picture of herself cuddling her new baby on Instagram, Samantha wrote: "Hello Felicity." Samantha went public with her pregnancy news back in May during an interview with the BBC as she prepared for the VE Day 80th Anniversary concert in London. She said: "The dress is being steamed, the hair and make-up is ready ... [I'm] nearly nine months pregnant so it's going to be me and baby performing for royalty tonight so it's her first adventure." Samantha and Alex married in Tuscany, Italy, in June 2022 and the actress previously admitted she felt "drunk in love" on her big day. She gushed to Britain's OK! magazine: "It was everything we could ever hope for, and so much more.
