Macks Creek man pleads guilty to child pornography charges
A Macks Creek man pleaded guilty in Camden County Circuit Court on Thursday, April 10, for child pornography charges.
According to court documents, Kenneth Daniel Jamison, 38, pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree promoting child pornography, which are class B felonies.
His case is set for sentencing on Thursday, June 5.
According to previous Ozarks First coverage, Camden County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) detectives and deputies executed a search warrant at Jamison's residence on Storm Ridge Road on May 7, 2024, where law enforcement seized several electronic devices. Deputies started investigating after receiving a tip on April 22, 2024, from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
The investigation found that Jamison had used a social media app called KIK to exchange pornographic images and videos with other users. The CCSO said at that point, there was no indication that any of the images involved local victims.Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. Feds take over manhunt for suspected killer dad as authorities reveal three daughters' cause of death
Federal authorities have taken over the manhunt for 32-year-old Travis Decker, nearly two weeks after his three daughters—Paityn, 9; Evelyn, 8; and Olivia, 5—were first reported missing, and an autopsy has now confirmed their cause of death. According to autopsy results, the Chelan County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) coroner's office confirmed the cause of death as suffocation and ruled the case a homicide. The CCSO also announced Monday that additional physical evidence was found in Decker's pickup truck. They also located Decker's dog nearby, which has been placed in the care of the local humane society. Among the forensic discoveries, blood samples taken from the scene have begun to provide a clearer picture: one sample matched a male, believed to be Decker, while another sample was confirmed not to be human, police said. Additional DNA and fingerprint analysis is underway, with authorities hoping it will result in further leads. As of Sunday at 6 p.m., command of search efforts was officially transferred from CCSO to federal authorities. The CCSO explained that local resources had reached their limit and they needed assistance from federal authorities in the ongoing manhunt. "We had reached a point where we need to rest our local resources," the statement said. However, CCSO leadership remains closely involved in search coordination and continues their lead with the criminal investigation. New photos of the Washington state survivalist accused of killing his own daughters have been released as federal authorities warn he could be trying to flee to Canada following a two-week-long manhunt. On June 7, the Chelan County Sheriff's Office released an updated wanted poster with new photos of Decker, highlighting his tattoos, haircut and wardrobe, as authorities continue to comb through large swaths of wilderness in search of the father. Decker was last seen wearing a green or tan shirt, which he was previously photographed in, and dark shorts, according to authorities. He is described as "dangerous" with police warning he "may be armed." Hundreds of law enforcement officials have been combing through nearby wooded areas and structures, with the state's National Guard deploying late Friday as the search for Decker continues. "Law enforcement members have conducted thorough searches of the forested areas, the river, and many structures in the area that Mr. Decker was last known to be in," the Chelan County Sheriff's Office said in a statement. "We continue these search efforts, acting upon gathered information and tips from the public, and leads developed through even more search warrants." The Chelan County Sheriff's Office did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment. Officials are also looking into the possibility that Decker, an experienced survivalist who previously spent time in the military, is attempting to flee to Canada, according to a U.S. Marshals Service affidavit obtained by Fox 13 Seattle. According to the affidavit, a search of Decker's Google account revealed queries such as "how does a person move to Canada," "how to relocate to Canada" and "jobs Canada." The U.S. Marshals with the Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment. Additionally, Washington Gov. Bob Ferguson has pledged to provide helicopter transportation for officers searching in remote areas. "As a parent, my heart goes out to Paityn, Evelyn and Olivia's mom, Whitney, and all those who love them," Ferguson wrote on X. "The brutal murder of these young children has shocked our state. I'm committed to supporting law enforcement as they seek justice for Paityn, Evelyn and Olivia." The girls were discovered with plastic bags over their heads and bound wrists at a Chelan County campground last week. Additionally, deputies found two bloody handprints on the tailgate of Decker's vehicle. Decker's ex-wife, Whitney Decker, 35, told police that the girls had not returned from a court-ordered visit three days after a visit with their father, according to court documents. Decker was permitted to visit the girls every other weekend – but not overnight – according to a court-ordered parenting plan that he did not sign. When he failed to drop the girls off with their mother by the 8 p.m. curfew on Friday, May 30, his ex tried calling – but was unable to reach him, according to a Chelan County police affidavit. GET REAL-TIME UPDATES DIRECTLY ON THE TRUE CRIME HUB The children's mother told police Decker has mental health issues – including borderline personality disorder – but had never missed a deadline to return their children following a visit. He is homeless and lives in motels and campgrounds, according to the affidavit. Local, state and federal officials continue to search for Decker, who is described as standing approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing about 190 pounds. Authorities are unsure if Decker is armed, but insist he is considered dangerous. Decker is charged with three counts each of aggravated first-degree murder and kidnapping. If convicted, he faces life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Police close in on possible location where fugitive dad could be hiding after alleged triple murder
The manhunt for the missing Washington father accused of killing his three daughters has authorities closing in on an area where he is believed to be hiding. Law enforcement began zeroing in on the Ingalls Creek and Valley High areas late Monday night in the search for Travis Decker, according to the Chelan County Sheriff's Office (CCSO). "Law enforcement is searching for suspect Travis Decker in the area of Ingalls Creek and Valley High as he is believed to potentially be in this area," the sheriff's office posted. "Please secure your homes and vehicles, stay alert, and report any suspicious activity to 911." The area is located approximately 30 miles from Rock Island Campground, where the bodies of Decker's three daughters—Paityn, 9; Evelyn, 8; and Olivia, 5—were discovered three days after they did not return to their mother following a court-approved visit with Decker. The new lead comes after the CCSO handed the search for Decker over to federal authorities on Sunday night, with the department remaining in command of the criminal investigation. The Chelan County Sheriff's Office did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment. Washington Gov. Bob Ferguson also deployed the state's national guard to aid law enforcement by providing helicopter transportation as officials continue to comb through the state's dense wooded areas. "We had reached a point where we need to rest our local resources," the sheriff's office said in a statement. "Our command staff continues to be engaged with the search command while we give our teams time off to rest and recuperate and be ready to rejoin the search for, and capture of, the suspect." On Monday, officials discovered a "large amount of evidence" from the father's abandoned GMC pickup truck, including blood samples tracing back to Decker and various personal items, according to the sheriff's department. Decker's dog was also found with the vehicle and subsequently placed in the care of the local humane society. The announcement regarding the evidence came on the same day the CCSO coroner's office confirmed the three girls' cause of death was suffocation, ultimately ruling the case a homicide. Prosecutors formally charged Decker with aggravated first-degree murder and kidnapping last week. Authorities allege Decker, an experienced survivalist and former member of the U.S. military, killed his three daughters before disappearing into the wilderness. The girls were found with plastic bags over their heads and bound wrists at a local campground last week. GET REAL-TIME UPDATES DIRECTLY ON THE TRUE CRIME HUB Decker's ex-wife, Whitney Decker, 35, told police Decker suffers from mental health issues – including borderline personality disorder – but had always returned the couple's children on time following a visit, according to a CCSO affidavit. Decker is described as standing approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing about 190 pounds. Authorities are unsure if Decker is armed, but insist he is considered dangerous. If convicted, Decker could face a maximum sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.
