Jono Castano steps out for date night with glamorous reality star girlfriend Emily Ryder - as the pair go public with their romance at the Opera House

Daily Mail27-04-2025

Jono Castano has officially moved on from his fashion designer ex Nilofar Khirzad, stepping out with his glamorous new girlfriend Emily Ryder.
The 33-year-old celebrity trainer was spotted enjoying a romantic night out with Love Triangle star Emily at the Sydney Opera House on Saturday night.
In a moody black-and-white clip during their outing, the couple looked completely smitten as they paused on a grand staircase under dramatic lighting.
In the footage, the fitness guru was seen planting a kiss on his girlfriend's lips as they posed for a cute photo together.
Jono cut a relaxed figure in a dark outfit paired with sneakers, while Emily, 29, showcased her long, toned legs in a chic bodycon dress and clear heels.
Her hair tumbled over her shoulders in soft waves as she leaned in affectionately towards Jono.
The pair appearing to share an intimate moment despite passing onlookers.
The pair have reportedly been dating for several months and are taking things 'very slowly'.
Sources close to the couple say Jono and Emily bonded over their shared passion for fitness and adventure, and are often seen working out together.
While the couple have kept their relationship relatively low-key until now, insiders claim they are 'absolutely smitten' and looking forward to spending even more time together.
Jono's new romance comes after he was previously linked to Perth-based fashion designer Nilofar Khirzad, following his high-profile split from Simone Holtznagel.
Jono and Simone dated for almost two years after meeting through Sydney's social scene.
The trainer, who owns the Acero fitness brand, remains one of Australia's most in-demand celebrity trainers, having worked with the likes of Rebel Wilson, Rita Ora and Michael Clarke.
Castano abruptly ended his relationship with designer Nilofar in January after less than six months of dating.
'They've been over for weeks,' an inside told Daily Mail Australia at the time. 'Their relationship just ran its course.'
The genetically blessed couple have since unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Emily meanwhile rose to fame on Stan's hit dating series Love Triangle, where she was initially matched with Sam Fisher.
Their relationship quickly soured after it was revealed that Sam had been secretly communicating with an ex-girlfriend named Hannah during filming, leading to a dramatic fallout on the show.
Emily later spoke out about the betrayal, stating, 'The lies were so detailed, you couldn't even write this. I congratulate him for how great he was at lying, it was pretty well done!'
Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Jono and Emily for comment.

'Our biggest gig as an Oasis tribute band will be playing next door to our icons'

With Oasis set to take over Edinburgh in August, Livingston-based tribute band Definitely Oasis reveal how they feel about playing next door to their heroes when they rock Murrayfield Ice Arena at pre-gig events. When we got the email to tell us, it was just amazing. I'd never even thought about playing there. The fact that it's next door to Oasis playing at Murrayfield Stadium is really surreal. It's huge, and just very surreal with what's happening next door when we are playing in the ice rink. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad It's the first time we have been back here since the 90s, we used to come to the disco on Friday nights quite regularly, pretty much every week for a while, we've got great memories of the place, good times. I used to love ice skating, I got into it in Livingston and when that closed I started coming here to skate also. I then got into music and going out, so the ice skating faded away. 'Liam' and 'Noel' from Livingston-based Oasis tribute band Definitely Oasis. | National World We are all Oasis fanboys, so to think they will be in the stadium doing a soundcheck and we will be here playing the same songs at the same time, it's mind-blowing. We don't suppose we will get a bigger gig than playing next door to Oasis. We've played to bigger crowds at festivals and big arenas, but this is incredible and the most excited we've been about playing a gig. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad We got together in 2012 but never started playing properly as Oasis until 2015. We knew there was a demand to hear Oasis songs live given they split in 2009, but we didn't realise how big it was. The band were gone but the fans weren't, and they were still mad for it! We only played local gigs to start with, before we knew it we were all over the country and then the world. We absolutely love doing what we do for a job. We get in character on stage, with a bit of needle between our Liam and Noel, a bit of pantomime. Sometimes the egos take over on stage and we just get lost in the moment, forget we aren't actually Oasis! Acting is a big part of it, not just playing the tunes, but being them also. We are quite happy guys, so sometimes we have to remember to be a bit mean and moody on stage. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad The tribute band will play Murrayfield Ice Arena ahead of the massive Oasis gigs next door at Murrayfield Stadium in August. | National World The buzz of being them has never went. When the intro of the first song kicks in, especially if it's a good crowd, it's a great buzz to keep the music alive. Sometimes the hairs on the back of our necks stand up. There are so many layers to it. The first thing is everyone in the band are huge Oasis fans, we get to play the tunes we grew up with. And we're in a great band with great musicians, we sound great. Playing in front of great and very appreciative fans, it's such a buzz, and we never get sick of it. Oasis were our band growing up, and still are. They mean so much to us. Even since they announced their return the demand is still there for us to play. Everyone is so excited Oasis are back. It's amazing they are back, biblical. Especially for the younger fans who never got the chance to see them live, in all their glory. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad It's always been a 'will they, won't they' for years. But when Noel had his divorce I really thought for the first time that it could happen, and here we are. We are so excited to see the set lists when they kick-off the reunion tour next month. And they have done really well to keep the media blanket since the announcement. I hope there is a wee spark between them on stage. I hope they show passion. It would be nice to see some brotherly love, and it's not just a big pay day. The tribute act spoke of their love for Oasis and revealed their excitement at playing these special Edinburgh gigs. | National World We were always busy, but since the reunion news broke last year the bookings have went through the roof. We are playing constantly this year and probably next year as well. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad It's interesting now at our shows as adults are bringing their kids to see us, it's amazing the amount of kids that are into Oasis, and they sing every single word of every song. It's great that Oasis have still got that pull, just like the Beatles really. We have not met Liam and Noel yet, but we met Oasis bassist Andy Bell once at an after-show. We would love to meet them, not sure what we would say though. They are the reason we are into music and musicians. We would just love to say thank you for teaching us music. Oasis changed everything when they came out, not just music, fashion, everything. It's hard to overestimate the impact they had on us and that generation. You never know, we might meet them at Murrayfield when we are both playing there? Tickets, priced at £5- £10, for the Oasis pre-show events at Murrayfield Ice Arena are still on sale, for Friday, August 8, click here. For Saturday, August 9, click here. Harry and Meghan 'axe four key staff members' as 'another change' looms

Earlier this year, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hired Meredith Maines as their new chief communication officer, and over the past few months their team has undergone some changes Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly axed four key staff members while revamping their team. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to have parted ways with their LA-based deputy press secretary Kyle Boulia and UK press officer Charlie Gipson. Both of them were hired in April 2024. Two other members of the couple's private team have reportedly also left in recent weeks. The changes come after Harry and Meghan appointed a new team, headed by chief communication officer (CCO) Meredith Maines, earlier this year. Meredith confirmed her team is now made up of eight people working across five different time zones. ‌ Harry and Meghan also recently hired Emily Robinson, who previously oversaw global publicity for The Crown from seasons three to six, as their new director of communications. ‌ Season six of the hit Netflix drama programme aired controversial storylines which included Prince Harry wearing Nazi fancy dress, Princess Diana's Panorama interview, and scenes depicting Diana as a ghost speaking to Queen Elizabeth II. A source has now claimed more changes could be in the works for the couple, who stepped down as senior royals in 2020 and now live in California with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The source told Hello! Magazine: "Something tells me there will be another change in the future. Meghan and Harry have hired some of the most incredible people at the top of their fields, yet somehow none of them ever work out." Following reports of changes within the Sussexes' team, their CCO Meredith said in a statement shared with The Mirror: "As the Duke and Duchess's business and philanthropic interests grow, I have made the strategic decision to move toward a more traditional communications structure of specialist agency support, as previously reported in Forbes and PR Week several weeks ago. Transitioning from a team of two to an agency support staff of eight, operating across five different time zones, will give international media and stakeholders better access, and critically, faster response times to inquiries." Earlier this week we reported that Meghan was due to attend a charity event in Los Angeles tomorrow, but t he bash has been cancelled due to ongoing unrest in the city. The Duchess was scheduled to be the guest of honour at the Museum of Natural History in LA, where she was expected to give a speech about her extensive charity work. However, as the streets of LA continue to be occupied by protestors facing off against ICE officers, organisers postponed the black-tie Night of Wonder event. Dr. Lori Bettison-Varga, President and Director of the Natural History Museum in LA, said in a statement: "As an institution 'of, for, and with Los Angeles,' our responsibility during challenging times is clear: to serve as a community resource focused on healing and unity, not celebration." "Los Angeles needs us to channel our energy toward supporting our neighbours and demonstrating the values that make our city and county strong," her statement continued. The statement went on to clarify that the decision to indefinitely postpone the event was made by the museum's Board of Trustees, leadership and event partners, who "unanimously agreed" that pausing the event was "the appropriate response to current community circumstances." Chief Advancement Officer Paul Bessire added: "We will find a future moment to celebrate our work. Until then, we will channel our energy towards being welcoming spaces for learning and discovery for everyone who walks through our doors." The museum is expected to reschedule the event for a later date, and will continue with their daily operations and educational programs until the event is back in the calendar.
