Daily Mail30-04-2025

Laura Byrne has revealed the gender of her third child with Matty 'J' Johnson.
The former Bachelor star, 39, revealed the news by cutting into a gender reveal cake live on her KIIS FM The Pick Up radio show on Wednesday, just hours after announcing her pregnancy.
'It's a girl,' Laura squealed as she removed a slice of white sponge that contained layers of pink icing.
'Oh my god, you're having a third little baby girl,' said co-host Brittany Hockley shocked, before adding, 'Congratulations'.
'Am I capable of producing boys?' replied husband Matty, before adding, 'Let's go again. Let's go for a fourth.'
'We're so lucky to have three little girls - and three little sisters, it's going to be amazing,' added Laura, before Matty admitted he 'loves being a girl dad'.

Laura announced her pregnancy news on her podcast, Life Uncut, which she co-hosts with fellow reality star Brittany Hockley.
'It turns out, we're having baby number three!' she declared.
'I'm pregnant guys!'
Laura revealed she is currently 18 weeks pregnant, two weeks short of the half-way mark.
'It is a Christmas miracle. We had a really small window. I have known for a very long time. I found out very early on in this pregnancy, not because I had any symptoms but because my friend made a comment that made me do a pregnancy test,' she explained.
Laura explained she took a pregnancy test while Matty was filming I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in South Africa but did not tell him the news until she was two and a half months pregnant.
'I wasn't able to tell Matt for ages. The whole time he was in the jungle, I wasn't able to tell him and then it was really tricky because I didn't want to tell him when it was the finale,' she explained.
'I didn't want to tell him as soon as the show, because I don't know if you guys remember, but the show wasn't filmed live this year, so we did the finale over there.'
Matt also made an announcement on his Two Doting Dads podcast, telling listeners: '[It's] an October baby. We were trying before I went into the jungle. The plan was, we said this year 2025, if we were going to have a third, this will be the year that it happens.
'I'm conscious that Marlie and Lola are really close together, they're about 18 months [apart] and Lola just turned four, so I was like if it doesn't happen this year, it's a big gap… We want the third child to still be friends with Marlie and Lola.'
Laura also posted a video to Instagram of her youngest daughter Lola, four, sharing the exciting news with fans.
'I've got a baby in my mum's tummy and I tried to get it out. I'm so so so so excited. I really want the baby to come out but it's not,' Lola says.
'We are SO SO SO EXCITED!!!! Johnson #3 under construction,' Laura captioned the video.
Many followers flocked to the comments to congratulate the couple on their exciting news.
'This is how I want all good news delivered from now on,' one person wrote.
'What exciting news for you all! And a FABULOUS announcement,' a second person commented.
Laura revealed she is currently 18 weeks pregnant and will be halfway through her pregnancy in the next two weeks time

The couple share daughters Marlie-Mae, who they welcomed in 2019, and Lola, who was born in 2021.

Family pay tribute to bubbly hospital radio volunteer Brenda

Brenda Jones (née Pink) died at Glan Clwyd Hospital, aged 91, on March 23 after a short illness. Brenda, of Rhyl, was married to the late Joseph (Joe) Jones, who died in May 2024. The couple had three children: Stephen, Leslie, and Caroline. Brenda with husband Joe (Image: Submitted by family) Brenda, a cherished granny to Jazmin, Tabitha, Sophie, and Saffron, was one of identical twins, alongside her sister Elsie. The sisters were born into a showbiz family. Their father, Stanley Wilson Pink, worked for 20th Century Fox in Manchester as a film distributor, organising film premieres for cinemas and meeting many film stars of the day - including Shirley Temple, Jimmy Clitheroe, and Frankie Howerd. Brenda and Elsie collected autographs from the celebrities they met through their father. Sadly, Stanley passed away from cancer at a young age, and the family moved to Prestatyn. Brenda and Joe married in 1954 and moved to Wrexham, where Joe worked. Joe worked for Midland Bank, and Brenda worked for Monsanto. After their first two children were born, the family moved to Rhyl where Brenda and Joe ran a newsagents on Vale Road for five years called J&B's. Singer and cruise star Jane McDonald with Brenda (Image: Submitted by family) When Caroline was born, the couple left the shop. Joe went on to work for the local council, while Brenda began working at Rhyl Sports Centre - first in the café, then the ticket office, and eventually as PA to the centre manager, before retiring. Brenda began volunteering at Glan Clwyd Radio in June 2000 and quickly became a beloved part of the radio family. Leslie said: "After joining the committee and then later on, as press officer, she had her own show every Wednesday morning playing some of her favourite music from show, stage and screen for patients and staff in the hospital. She was a big fan of stage shows such as Phantom of the Opera, The Sound of Music and Mamma Mia. She used to get press invitations to see shows at both Rhyl Pavilion and Venue Cymru Llandudno including the annual Christmas pantomimes and UK touring companies. She reviewed these and helped promote them for the theatres. "She would often invite celebrities, actors and singers who would be performing in the various shows and pantomimes onto her radio show. She was very experienced at interviewing and getting them involved in the show. "She also invited local MP's and councillors to guest on her show asking them to pick their favourite pieces of music to play." Brenda also ran regular competitions to win theatre tickets and hosted ward bingo nights and quizzes for the benefit of patients. Brenda, Jane McDonald and Brenda's daughter Caroline (Image: Submitted by family) "She would often be in attendance along with Tony Mannix and other radio presenters at outside broadcasts in the Radio Glan Clwyd van playing music and compering at many local events such as the May Day parades, local car shows and summer fayres," Leslie said. She was recognised three times for her contribution to the community through her work with Glan Clwyd Hospital Radio. RELATED NEWS "In 2011, mum was nominated to go the Queen's Garden Party at the Palace," Leslie said. "Caroline accompanied her and they both had a fabulous day. "In 2018, Caroline nominated mum for a show called 'Jane and friends'. "Jane McDonald was mum's favourite singer. She surprised mum at the studio, needless to say there were tears, but they both had a fantastic morning on the 'Brenda and Jane show' and then appearing on the Channel 5 television show afterwards." MORE NEWS In 2023, Brenda was made a Patron of Glan Clwyd Radio in recognition of her 23 years of volunteering and fundraising at a celebration party organised by her colleagues at the station. Speaking about her personality, Leslie said: "Mum was always smiling, had a great sense of fun, and a bubbly personality. She gave so much of herself to her family and community. "She was a remarkably selfless lady who leaves behind so many wonderful memories for all who knew her." Brenda loved meeting stars of stage and screen whenever she had the chance. Her musician son, Steven (Steve), who composed and performed for various shows over the years, always tried to involve Brenda and Joe in the social side of his work. Leslie said: "Through pantos in Rhyl, Carlisle and New Brighton, mum met so many stars. Steve would often leave her while he went to the bar only to return to find mum chatting to Dean Sullivan from Brookside or Su Pollard from Hi-de-Hi! "Mum would be in her element."

Rylan Clark admits 'we might as well put a ring on it' in Rob Rinder update

Rylan Clark has remarked that he and Rob Rinder might as well 'put a ring on it' after the X Factor star declared that they are like a married couple in a new interview Rylan Clark has quipped he "might as well put a ring on it" with TV partner Rob Rinder after likening their dynamic to a married couple's relationship. He made the comments during a chat with Reverend Richard Coles on his BBC show Rylan: How To Be In Love, where former I'm a Celebrity contestant Richard joked, "You've got Rob Rinder all over you like a rash." ‌ Rylan agreed with the statement and then replied: "We are like a married couple, we row all the time and don't have sex like a proper married couple. We might as well put a ring on it." ‌ While fans have speculated about the nature of Rylan and Rob's connection following their closeness on the BBC Grand Tour series, Rylan confirmed that their bond is strictly non-romantic. In his podcast series, the Radio 2 presenter has been candid about his journey of seeking new love post-divorce, sharing his apprehensions with Richard: "I want to find the next love of my life. I've been married, I thought I'd found the love of my life, I hadn't." He also shared the emotional toll of ending his marriage to Dan Neal, saying: "As much as my ex didn't pass away, I still went through that grief in my own way. For a long time I thought, 'I'm going to be single forever, like, how can I meet someone now?'". Earlier in the podcast Rylan quizzed Richard about his experiences with dating after his late husband, David Coles, died in December 2019. Richard, speaking in an interview with The Guardian after David's passing, previously reflected on the struggles his late partner faced, saying: "One of the problems David had was that the public life I led meant that people felt they had a sort of claim on me, and in ways that cut across his claim as my significant other." ‌ The moment became profound when Richard remembered the intrusion David went through, revealing: "Literally, sometimes people would push him out of the way. He was very good about it. He made a joke about it. But I think it must have been very irritating for him." Richard's experience mirrors that of Rylan, who shared with Stephen Fry his dilemma regarding dating while in the limelight: "One thing I'm finding really difficult when it comes down to dating is that people think I'm Rylan when, in honesty, I'm Ross." ‌ Opening up further, Ross, better known by his stage name Rylan, confessed: "I need to work out, 'Do you want to date Rylan and what Rylan can give you, or do you want to date the real me?'". Understanding the sentiment behind Rylan's words, Stephen expressed empathy, despite not sharing the same predicament, attributing it to his husband Elliott's indifference to celebrity gatherings, noting: "I do know what you mean exactly, because I don't, at home, quote poems and literature and use long words. "One thing I think is good and it's not to diss other types, but as it happens, Elliott is not interested in red carpets and glamorous openings and things like that. "Being famous is a picnic, but occasionally at a picnic there will be wasps and the wasps are the press and the trolls who will drive you indoors as it were, and you're aware that you're giving that as a problem to someone who comes into your life."

Katie Price gives honest opinion on ex Peter Andre's wife Emily following Princess' harsh remark

Katie Price gave her opinion on her ex-husband Peter Andre, who she no longer speaks to, and his second wife, Emily MacDonagh Katie Price has spoken candidly about her relationship with ex-husband Peter Andre and his marriage to NHS doctor Emily MacDonagh, revealing insights after a remark from her daughter, Princess. The 46-year-old former glamour model admitted that she and Peter no longer speak, despite co-parenting their two children, son Junior 19, and daughter Princess, 17. ‌ Recalling the dynamics of their relationship, Katie spoke about the fallout during their break-up and revealed the couple had split from their mutual manager as well, the Mirror reports. ‌ She stated: "It's a shame. It's a shame. I think there [were] too many chefs around us," adding that she'd "like to" talk to him. Peter and Katie tied the knot back in 2005 after they grew close while on the reality TV show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!. Their marriage ended four years later in 2009, and since then Katie has been married two more times. The star first married Alex Reid in 2010, before going on to marry Kieran Hayler, whom she had two children with - Jett, 11 and Bunny, 10. Katie is now in a relationship with a former Married At First Sight star, 32-year-old JJ Slater. Meanwhile, Peter, now 52, found love again with Emily, who is 15 years his junior, and the pair got married in 2015 and share three children; Theo, Amelia and Arabella. In an unusual conversation about Peter's new life, Katie revealed: "I'm glad he's with Emily. She seems like a proper lady. I think it'd be weird if he went for someone like me." ‌ Opening up on the What's My Age Again podcast with Katherine Ryan, Katie shared that Princess compares her to Emily, quoting her daughter's comments, Katie said: "[She says] 'You're just so nuts, mum. When I see you and Emily, you're just so different. I can't imagine you and dad'. "I said 'I was with your dad for six years. Trust me, we had a laugh, bantered together, we did'. ‌ "She said 'I just can't imagine dad being like that'. I said, 'But he was, he was like that. We did have a laugh'. "And, you know, she can't believe that whenever he went everywhere with me, we were together with the kids. And we'd go as a family. "Emily doesn't do all that for Pete. I said, 'Me and Pete just did it all together as a family. If we'd got you kids, you would come with us'." ‌ In a previous discussion about her split from the Mysterious Girl singer, Katie attributed it to a serious misunderstanding. Revealing to Paul C Brunson on his We Need To Talk podcast, she said: "We broke up because he thought I was having an affair with my dressage rider, and I've never slept with him. ‌ "I just kept my horse there, and I was happy keeping my horse there, and he [the instructor] was married." Katie went on to say that after an argument, she found out about their breakup through reports on Sky News. The reality star denied that the split was mutual, and later released her own statement, making it clear that she didn't want to part ways with Peter. "Until this day, me and Pete have never sat down and spoken about it. It's all through lawyers," she explained. "I've never sat down with him, we probably would've sorted it out but we were kept apart."
