Stephen Fry, Celia Imrie and Paloma Faith among Celebrity Traitors contestants
Other stars joining the group at Ardross Castle are former England rugby player and podcaster Joe Marler, presenter Jonathan Ross, broadcaster Clare Balding and singer Paloma Faith.
Hosted by Strictly Come Dancing's Claudia Winkleman, the nine-part celebrity version will give contestants the chance to win a cash prize of up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice.
Sir Stephen Fry is among the star names confirmed for Celebrity Traitors (Ian West/PA)
Winkleman said: 'We're incredibly lucky these brilliant people have said yes.
'I'd love to say we'll take it easy on them and they'll just wander round the castle and eat toast for a couple of weeks, but that would be a lie.'
The game show follows contestants as they try to detect the traitors in the group while completing a series of challenges to win cash towards the prize pot.
If at the end of the series a traitor is among the finalists, the faithfuls lose out on the money and the traitor takes the full cash prize home.
EastEnders star Tameka Empson, Bafta award-winning film-maker and historian David Olusoga, and comedians Nick Mohammed and Joe Wilkinson are also part of the line-up.
Another cast member is influencer Niko Omilana, who has more than seven million subscribers on YouTube and millions more followers across other platforms.
He is best known for his prank-style videos, which include sneaking into the KSI v Logan Paul boxing rematch and attempting to get in the ring. In 2021 he got nearly 50,000 votes in the London mayoral election, coming fifth and being the top independent candidate.
Scottish actor and Shetland star Mark Bonnar, Irish actress and The Midnight Club's Ruth Codd, and comedian and TV star Lucy Beaumont complete the line-up.
Kate Garraway has been confirmed as a contestant in Celebrity Traitors (Ian West/PA)
The Traitors debuted in 2022 and has since picked up a Bafta TV Award for Best Reality & Constructed Factual programme as well as a Broadcasting Press Guild Award for Best Entertainment Programme.
The third and most recent series of The Traitors saw project manager Jake Brown and former soldier Leanne Quigley share the prize pot of £94,600.
– Celebrity Traitors will air on BBC One and iPlayer this autumn.

Gordon Ramsay reveals true feelings towards future son-in-law Adam Peaty in telling interview
Gordon Ramsay has shared his very honest opinion on his daughter Holly's fiancé, Adam Peaty. Olympic swimming star Adam Peaty took on his most gruelling challenge yet with future father-in-law Gordon Ramsay giving his full support. The 30-year-old pushed through a tough triathlon on Sunday evening whilst surrounded by a very famous cheer squad. The Strictly Come Dancing star, who has secured an impressive six Olympic medals, dived into his first-ever triathlon as part of the T100 Triathlon World Tour. At the event, he was surrounded by his biggest supporters with 'Team Ramsay' on hand. His fiancée, Holly Ramsay, was there to cheer him on, along with his young son George, who beamed with pride at his father. The Ramsay family was out in full force – Holly's mum Tana and siblings Megan, Tilly, and Jack all participated in the event alongside him. Scots chef Gordon, 58, had also hoped to take part but was benched by doctors after getting stitches in his cheek. However, he more than made up for it with enthusiastic sideline support. It was a big day with other famous faces such as McFly drummer Harry Judd and former racing driver Billy Monger also among the competitors. Adam completed the triathlon, which consisted of a 2km swim, an 80km cycle, and an 18km run, within 2 hours, 34 minutes, and 37 seconds. Moments after the triathlon ended, George ran up to his dad with a handmade sign that read 'I love you. Go Daddy', and gave him a kiss. Holly was glowing with pride as her future hubby caught his breath. Adam said: "That was the hardest thing I've ever done. I'd 100 per cent do it again." Reflecting on the experience, he later shared on Instagram: "Before this I never raced for more than a few minutes, never swam open water, never raced on a bike or had ever done a 10km run with people of all paces around me. Glad I got all of those ticked off today." Adam and Holly started dating in 2023 and the Olympian proposed last autumn. While the couple initially kept things quiet, it was Gordon who let the wedding plans slip during an interview on The Jonathan Ross Show. He said "It's going to be a Christmas wedding" as he revealed they'd already started making arrangements. The celebrity chef praised Adam, calling him a down-to-earth, driven man and the ideal match for his daughter. Gordon said that Adam had asked for his and Tana's blessing during a family holiday to Cornwall, which he said was an emotional and unforgettable moment. He said: "As a future son-in-law, we couldn't ask for better". The feeling appears to be mutual as Adam has previously spoken about how welcomed he feels by the Ramsay family. Gordon is also going to be in charge of the wedding menu, something which Holly says she has been excited about since day one. She told Closer Magazine: "He's definitely taking charge of the food". Holly shared the news of their engagement last year in an emotional Instagram post, referring to Adam as her 'best friend' and saying she still remembers the smile she had after their first date. She thanked him for making her feel 'loved, seen and happier than ever' and said she couldn't wait to become his wife. Adam posted his own sweet message soon after, calling Holly 'gentle, caring and beautiful,' and saying he felt like the luckiest man alive. He also mentioned how close he's become to the Ramsay family, saying their warmth, support, and generosity are all things he is incredibly grateful for.

But who is still on the bus - and who has reached their final stop? The wheels on the Destination X bus are set to go round and round again this week. It is back for another pair of episodes with new locations for players and audiences to guess. Mixing the best parts of Race Across the World and The Traitors, the BBC's new gameshow has captured the imagination of viewers - or at least it has for this one. It also gives people at home the chance to play along and try to guess where the contestants are, before revealing the location. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Destination X has taken the places to Paris, the Matterhorn, Munich and Salzburg so far. But where will they end up next - tune in on Wednesday and Thursday nights on BBC One. Who has left Destination X so far? Rob Brydon gets ready for take-off as the host of Destination X, the new BBC game show (Picture: BBC/TwoFour) The first episode proved to be particularly brutal as a number of players were culled before they could even reach the Destination X bus. Chloe-Anne, Ashvin and Claire were knocked out in the initial challenge. Mahidi made it to the bus but decided to leave the bus voluntarily after one night, craving a home-cooked meal. Deborah was eliminated after being the player whose map guess was the furthest away, despite getting a clue for winning the box challenge. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad The second episode saw just one player leave, after the five departures in episode one. Dawn was eliminated after her guess of the location was revealed to be the furthest away. In the third episode, the eliminated players who didn't get to board the bus had the chance to return. It saw James eliminated after going head-to-head with Ashvin for a spot. There was still a trip to the map room to be had and Ben was eliminated after being misled about the location. Participants on Destination X wear special X Goggles, which give them a glimpse of their surroundings, on the new BBC game show (Picture: BBC/TwoFour) Episode four saw the players heading over the border into Austria for a Sound of Music themed challenge. Unfortunately, the Viennese Waltz got Chloe-Anne in a twist and she ended up going home - once again. The show did initially feature 13 contestants, but after just four episo, des that has already been cut to seven with six people leaving so far. The players left in with a chance to win the life-changing £100,000 jackpot includes: Ashvin, 23, London - Economics Graduate Claire, 51, West Sussex - Retired Detective Sergeant Daren - 58, London - Taxi Driver Josh - 26, Dartford - Pilot Judith - 28, Bristol - Nuclear Engineer Nick - 35, Cornwall - Endurance Athlete Saskia - 25, Birmingham - Marketing Executive When is Destination X on next? Unlike buses in the real world, Destination X is very reliable with its schedule. Episodes are broadcast on Wednesday and Thursday nights on BBC including today (August 13) and tomorrow (August 14). It will be on BBC One/ HD from 9pm, following the latest episode of MasterChef. Destination X is also available to catch-up on via BBC iPlayer. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad The Destination X bus takes participants across Europe in the new BBC game show (Picture: BBC/TwoFour) Who is the host of Destination X on BBC? Rob Brydon is the 'gamemaster' for the Beeb's newest competition show. Destination X will premiere this evening and will broadcast two episodes per week, through to the end of August. Speaking about the show, the host said: 'I've never done a TV show on this scale before. I loved the idea of it, the combination of having to work out clues as to where you are and having to get on with each other. It struck me as the best bits of The Traitors with the best bits of Race Across the World. 'The other thing that attracted me was the scale of it and being a part of a show as ambitious as this, with as huge a crew and as huge a team. I knew it would be a real challenge to see if I could steer that ship.' He continued: 'I don't want to give anything away but when they start out, they are very much in a team mentality, they are keen to remind me that they are a team - and then things evolve.' Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Discussing what surprised him the most about the show, Rob Brydon added: 'The surprising things were watching the relationships develop between the players. I say in the first episode it's all about alliances, but then ultimately only one person can win £100,000. So, it was watching the dynamic of the group change over the course of the series in ways that you didn't see coming.' Where do you know the Destination X host from? Rob Brydon is a name that needs no introduction, but we might as well do it anyways. The Welsh actor and comedian might be best known for playing Uncle Bryn (Bryn West) on the BBC's Gavin and Stacey. He played the character across all three of the original series as well as returning for the 2019 and 2024 Christmas specials. He also starred in The Trip films with Steve Coogan - the most recent of which as The Trip to Greece. Rob also had a small role in the 2023 blockbuster film Barbie. He played Sugar Daddy Ken in the Margot Robbie movie. If you love TV, check out our Screen Babble podcast to get the latest in TV and film.
