Three cheap holiday destinations getting new TUI flights from the UK next year
TUI is launching three new routes to very affordable holiday destinations for next summer.
Added to the roster for 2026 are routes to Faro, Fuerteventura and a brand-new flight from Cardiff Airport to Hurghada.

The routes from Cardiff Airport to Hurghada will start on May 2, 2026 so holidaymakers can soak up Egyptian sunshine.
The beach resort town stretches along Egypt's Red Sea coast and is known for being one of the best spots for scuba diving.
One Sun Travel writer took a trip to Hurghada where they discovered the country's largest waterpark - Hurghada's Makadi Water World.
TUI is also launching a brand-new route from Cardiff to Faro on May 21, 2026.
In the Portuguese city is a charming Old Town, the Cathedral of Faro, and the Ria Formosa Natural Park.
There are lots of beaches near Faro too, near Quarteira and Vilamoura as well as on the sandbar islands of Ilha de Faro and Ilha Deserta.
Deputy Travel Editor Kara Godfrey recently visited Faro and decided to visit the islands herself.
She said: " There are some fantastic islands just off the coast where you will see barely any tourists.
"Ilha Deserta, also known as Barreta, takes just 20 minutes by boat, with tickets a few euros.

Fuerteventura is the second largest of Spain's Canary Islands and another route that TUI is starting for summer 2026.
It will continue on from the winter season which launches on December 20, 2025 - when the weather is an average of 20 degrees.
These flights will also be available from Cardiff Airport - and it's only a four hour flight.
This volcanic island off the coast of north-west Africa is considered an unspoiled alternative to tourist hotspots Tenerife and Lanzarote.
Head of Travel (Digital) Caroline McGuire visited Fuerteventura and described it as the perfect half-term destination.
The island has around 80 beaches but one memorable stretch of coast is called the Popcorn Beach.
The "sand" is made up of small white algae fossils, it looks like the whole beach is lined with popcorn.
Another flight that's been launched by TUI is is from the UK to Ibiza - which is in time for summer 2025.
Exeter Airport in Devon now has two TUI aircrafts, with a new weekly route to Ibiza now available.

Greg Monks: Family appeal for information after Scottish man goes missing on stag do in Portugal
The family of a Scottish man who went missing on a stag do in Portugal have urged police to ramp up their efforts to find him. Greg Monks, 38, from Glasgow, was last seen in Albufeira in the early hours of Wednesday morning, on the first night of a five-day stag do. His parents and his girlfriend flew out to Portugal to help with the search the next day, but have not found any recent sightings of him. Speaking to The UK Tonight with Sarah-Jane Mee, Mr Monks's sisters Jillian and Carlyn said they are "waiting for answers". "As a family, we're worried sick," Carlyn added. "It's just so unlike him, but myself and Jillian are just trying to hold each other up back home." Jillian then said: "He deserves to be found, he deserves to be looked for, we need him home. "He's a big part of our family, and it's just unimaginable if he's just lying somewhere and we can't find him." Carlyn also called her brother "a real family man", while Jillian said that "I know that if he could phone us or reach out to us, he would, he wouldn't put us through this". Jillian said that after his friends told her "he's not come home from the night before", they asked "if there was any way we could track his phone or try and see what his location is". "I just couldn't believe it," she added. "It's not like him, he wouldn't normally do anything like this. "It had only been 12 hours since he was seen, but we were just so worried." She and his friends then tried to report Mr Monks as missing, but she said "it wasn't really taken seriously at first because it hadn't been that long". Jillian added that when her family arrived in Albufeira, police told them they had spotted Mr Monks twice on CCTV footage walking around the residential area. The area where the 38-year-old was last seen had a lot of "rough terrain" - including rocky outcrops and cliffs - and was more than an hour's walk from the Albufeira Strip, where he was thought to have left his friends. Jillian then said that while the police are looking for Mr Monks, "they just don't have the manpower" to search the area fully, and "it's been difficult for them to get the information" they are looking for. The sisters are calling for the police to use dogs to help track down Mr Monks, and have asked locals, "if you know anything, any tiny bit of information, get in touch".

Fernandes rejects Al-Hilal offer to stay at Manchester United
June 3 (Reuters) - Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes turned down the opportunity to join Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal in order to keep playing "at the highest level", he said on Tuesday. The Portuguese midfielder admitted that he had considered the move, which media reports said was worth four times his current salary, after being contacted by Al-Hilal's president. "There was that possibility, the president of Al-Hilal called me a month ago to ask me about it," Fernandes, who is preparing to face Germany with Portugal, told reporters on Tuesday. "It was a big offer, very ambitious. There was a waiting period for me to think about the future." Fernandes ultimately decided to stay at United and said he was motivated by his desire to continue playing at the top level and encouraged by his family and the club's coach Ruben Amorim. "I would be willing to do it if Manchester United thought so," Fernandes added. "I spoke to the coach Ruben Amorim who really tried to talk me out of it. The club said they would not be willing to sell me, only if I wanted to leave. "I spoke to my wife and family, and she asked me what my personal goals were in my career. "It would have been easy to move there but I want to keep myself at the highest level, playing in the big competitions and I feel capable of it. I am happy with my decision." The 30-year-old Fernandes scored 19 goals and provided 19 assists in 57 appearances across all competitions for United last season, winning the club's Player of the Year award for the fourth time. However, it was a season to forget for the team, as they finished 15th in the Premier League, their lowest league finish in half a century, and lost the Europa League final to Tottenham Hotspur.
