Giacomo Raspadori emerged as a potential solution to an emerging attacking crisis at San Siro toward the end of Inzaghi's regime.
Indeed, with Joaquin Correa gone and Marko Arnautovic set to follow, Inter must add to their offensive options.
However, rumors have faded after the 49-year-old left Inter to join Al-Hilal.

Raspadori is reportedly open to leaving Stadio Diego Armando Maradona for regular first-team football.
Indeed, he mostly played second fiddle to Romelu Lukaku during Napoli's title-winning Serie A season.
Low in the pecking order, the Italian forward is ready to pack his bags, with several clubs keen to offer him an escape route.
In addition to Inter, Bologna, Lazio, and Roma have taken an interest in the 25-year-old star.
However, Raspadori isn't the first option for the Nerazzurri.

Rockets analyst Ryan Hollins on potential Kevin Durant deal: ‘KD would fit in beautifully'
Rockets analyst Ryan Hollins on potential Kevin Durant deal: 'KD would fit in beautifully' Ryan Hollins on a potential Kevin Durant trade: 'KD would fit in beautifully, and I believe he already has a relationship with Ime (Udoka). There's a high level of respect for him from our guys.' 'Ime is a ten.' 💯 Ex-NBA vet @TheRyanHollins breaks down Houston's rise, KD & Giannis rumors, and why the Rockets are built to win ugly. Read the full interview: via @LandonBuford — RG (@TheRGMedia) June 10, 2025 Rockets analyst Ryan Hollins knows the NBA, having played in the league for a decade. And Hollins also knows its current landscape, as he will soon begin his fifth season as Houston's in-game analyst for Space City Home Network, its regional television broadcast home. With reports emerging in recent days that Houston is among the leading trade suitors for Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant, Hollins didn't mince words regarding the possibility. In an interview with Landon Buford of RG, Hollins said of the talks: Kevin Durant, man, he's electric. When you get to those big moments, do you have enough firepower to execute? Do you trust your young talent to get you there, or do you bring in someone like KD... who you know can win championships? KD would fit in beautifully, and I believe he already has a relationship with Ime (Udoka, head coach) from their time in Brooklyn. There's a high level of respect for him from our guys. The question, however, is what a trade would look like. To Durant's credit, Hollins believes that the 15-time NBA All-Star is aware of that — and he doesn't want to excessively strip his new team of its talent in such a deal. 'He wants to be fair, to both teams and organizations,' said Hollins, whose playing career (2006-07 to 2015-16) featured quite a few matchups against Durant (2007-08 to present). 'That says a lot about him.' A 6-foot-11 forward, Durant averaged 26.6 points (52.7% FG, 43.0% on 3-pointers), 6.0 rebounds, and 4.2 assists in 62 games last season. The former Most Valuable Player (MVP) and two-time NBA Finals MVP is now 36 years old, and his current contract runs through next season. Marseille Coach Roberto De Zerbi Claims ‘Inter Milan Never Called Me' – Adds ‘Luis Henrique A Great Signing'
Marseille coach Roberto De Zerbi says that Inter Milan 'never called' him. The Italian tactician spoke to Supernova, via FCInterNews. He also said that winger Luis Henrique is 'a great signing' for the Nerazzurri. Advertisement Inter Milan have gone with Cristian Chivu as their coach to replace Simone Inzaghi. However, Chivu is far from the only coach that the Nerazzurri had been linked with. The Nerazzurri had also been working on snapping up Cesc Fabregas to become Inzaghi's successor. Meanwhile, Genoa coach Patrick Vieira was another name reportedly on Inter's shortlist. Then, another name who has been linked with Inter for some time is Roberto De Zerbi. Formerly of Sassuolo, Shakhtar Donetsk, and Brighton and Hove Albion, De Zerbi is currently at Marseille. And the 46-year-old was among the names to emerge on Inter's list of candidates to replace Inzaghi. (Photo by) Marseille coach De Zerbi addressed the rumours linking him to Inter Milan. 'They never called me,' he claimed. Advertisement 'I'd already been talking to players for the future [at Marseille] for twenty days,' he noted. 'We were in Miami with the President and the Sporting Director to see the owner.' De Zerbi stated that 'when I have a commitment, I like to see it through.' 'If I feel betrayed I leave. But I had a commitment, and I would not have felt right leaving.' Meanwhile, De Zerbi also gave his thoughts on new Inter signing Luis Henrique. 'Luis Henrique is a good player,' said the Marseille coach. 'Then, the San Siro is the San Siro, but the Velodrome is no joke either.' 'We'll have to see how he adjusts to playing three matches a week. Because he's not used to that.' 'But he has physicality, technical quality,' De Zerbi added of Henrique. 'He's a great signing.'

Vikings Star Gets Honest About Missing Practice Amid Contract Dispute
Vikings Star Gets Honest About Missing Practice Amid Contract Dispute originally appeared on Athlon Sports. It was out of character for Minnesota Vikings safety Josh Metellus to be missing from the practice field for voluntary OTAs a week ago. Advertisement However, a trend has continued for the Vikings team captain and emotional leader of the team, who sat out 7-on-7s during mandatory minicamps on Tuesday. The assumption: Metellus, in the final year of his contract, is looking for a new deal. After practice on Wednesday, June 11, Metellus addressed his absence from team activities. I mean, the coaches, front office, everybody understands, you know, situation I'm here," Metellus told KSTP's Darren Wolfson on June 11. "I'm building that chemistry with my new teammates and the old teammates, and I'm here being the same guy I am all the time. So you guys know me. It ain't nothing change.' Two summers ago, the Vikings proactively signed Metellus to a two-year, $8 million extension with the hopes that he would seize a prominent role in the first year under Brian Flores. Advertisement He did that, and then some. After starting just three games in three years as a 2020 sixth-round pick, Metellus has started 27 games and surpassed 1,000 defensive snaps each of the past two seasons since Flores arrived. Metellus has become an integral part of the Flores' amoebic defense that lines versatile players all over the field. Metellus is arguably the defense's most versatile player, capable of lining up at over a dozen positions as both a cover man and a pass rusher. That's made his contract negotiations tricky when considering what he is worth to the team. Metellus said that despite all the versatility, he values himself as a safety and merely learned all those roles to have an impact behind Harrison Smith and Camryn Bynum, who signed with a $15-million-a-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts in March. Advertisement "I kind of had to, we had a Hall of Famer and a guy getting paid $15 million back there," Metellus said of his learning his hybrid role. "I had to find a way to fit in." Metellus should garner a contract in the ballpark of Bynum's deal in Indianapolis, which ranks 10th in average annual value at the position. "At the end of the day, I came in this league at safety, that's forever going to be my true position," Metellus added. "All the other stuff, I think, adds to my value. But at the end of the day, I'm a ball player -- 1,000 snaps at whatever position, I'm going to do everything to help the team win.'
