Megan Thee Stallion Will Drop An Anime Series On Amazon Prime Video
Megan Thee Stallion/My Hero Academia Leon Bennett/FilmMagic, GETTY/ Studio Bones One of the highest-profile musicians in the world, Megan Thee Stallion, will branch into a new form of media soon enough, and Amazon Prime Video will help her do it. Stallion spoke at a panel at DreamCon in Houston, dressed up in Yoruichi Shihōin from Bleach cosplay, announced that she would have an anime series released on Amazon Prime Video. "You ain't never seen an anime like this ever in your life,' she said but offered no details other than the fact that she collaborated with The Boondocks' Carl Jones for the project. Even with no details, it would not be safe to assume this will simply be a series that's a fictionalization of Stallion's life or music career. The reason all this is not as random as it sounds is the fact that Stallion is a huge anime fan, from her outfits to her song lyrics to her extensive knowledge of the genre, which all led to the creation of this series, whatever it may be. If there are no further details on the show, it's not clear how far off it may be if nothing is ready to be shared, not even a concept, much less footage. But the fact that Stallion was making an anime series was revealed seven months ago, so it may be somewhat far along in production. I'm not sure what an anime that we've 'never seen like this in your life' may consist of, as that's a pretty broad range, but at the very least, we know this likely means a whole lot to Stallion, given her interest in the genre. Previously, she's said that My Hero Academia is one of her favorites, and she's cosplayed as characters from the show (see above). There is skepticism in the anime community about the project coming from Stallion, where this would be a huge departure from her music career, but she has the resources to expand, and we'll have to see how this plays out. It's a little surprising that her show is landing on Amazon Prime Video rather than Netflix or Crunchyroll, as those two usually grab most animation/anime projects, but who knows what the behind-the-scenes reasoning may be for that. It would be nice to have more details about this project, but it seems we'll have to wait a little longer for that. Follow me on Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram. There's always high demand for PlayStation deals, whether it's for the console, its accessories, or its games, so we expect this offer from Amazon for the PlayStation DualSense Edge wireless controller to sell out quickly. It's on sale with a 15% discount that slashes the PS5 controller's price to $169 from $200, for savings of $31. The lowered price is only available for a limited time, which may even be shorter than planned as stocks may disappear at any moment. If you're interested in this bargain, we highly recommend proceeding with your purchase right now. Why you should buy the PlayStation DualSense Edge wireless controller The PlayStation DualSense for the PlayStation 5 is excellent, but it's the PlayStation DualSense Edge that headlines our list of the best PS5 controllers. It's Sony's 'Pro' controller for the PS5 that's designed to provide high performance and deep customization. It offers changeable stick caps, replaceable stick modules, adjustable trigger lengths, and mappable back buttons. The controller also has a dedicated function button for switching between controller profiles, and it comes with a sturdy carrying case where you can keep all of its components organized. In our review of the PlayStation DualSense Edge, one of the negatives about the controller is its high price. However, with the discount from Amazon, it's a more tempting purchase, especially if you want to elevate the experience of playing the best PS5 games, particularly when you're engaging in the online multiplayer modes of cross-platform games. The controller also has a strong build quality, so it will withstand all the button mashing that you have to do to secure a victory. Serious gamers should definitely consider buying the PlayStation DualSense Edge wireless controller, especially now that it's available from Amazon at 15% off. Instead of its sticker price of $200, you'll only have to pay $169, and you can spend the $31 in savings towards more video games for the PS5. This limited-time deal may no longer be around tomorrow though, so if you don't want to miss this special price for the PlayStation DualSense Edge wireless controller, you should buy it today.

YouTube's Victory in the TV Wars Depends on Parents
Here's a stat that might come as a shock to casual observers of the media ecosystem: The media company that commands the largest percentage of our eyeballs is not the mighty Netflix Inc., the Walt Disney Co. juggernaut or the omnipresent Inc. Prime. It's YouTube. The platform represents 12.4% of audiences' time spent watching television, according to Nielsen Holding Ltd.'s Media Distributor Gauge report for April. That beats Disney's 10.7% (which includes not only the platforms and channels that bear its name but ESPN and Hulu to boot), nearly doubles the 6.8% and 6.7% for Fox and Warner Bros. Discovery, respectively, and pummels the puny 3.5% share for Amazon. But before we hail the platform as another nail in traditional TV's coffin, it needs to accomplish something else: earn the trust of its users, particularly parents.
