Beyoncé's tour heads to Atlanta: Parking, bag policy, tailgating at Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Beyoncé Knowles-Carter is headed to Atlanta to kick off her Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on June 10, 11, 13 and 14.
The ATL stop comes after Beyoncé delivered two dazzling concerts at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland — five miles east of Washington, D.C. The first show fell on the Fourth of July, with the follow-up performance taking place July 7. The holiday made for an especially significant night given the messages and motifs pertaining to country music, America's complex past and its ongoing cultural reckoning.
Of course, Beyoncé first debuted her "Cowboy Carter" tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 28 with a 39-song set list. Her shows have been filled with family, fashion and different music genres.
Atlanta is Beyoncé's last Southern stop on her tour. Here's what to know as fans head to Mercedes-Benz Stadium during her four-night stint.
How to get to Mercedes-Benz Stadium, merchandise, more
Mercedes-Benz Stadium is located at 1 AMB Drive NW in Atlanta. The gates are scheduled to open at 5:30 p.m. local time. However, fans with VIP packages should check their emails prior to arrival for specific instructions for early entry.
Concertgoers with floor seats are required to enter at the designated floor gate near gate 1, which is located next to the soccer ball sculpture. Fans can purchase official merchandise on show days at 2 p.m. local time. The merch stands will also be open July 12 from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. local time. All exterior merchandise locations will be located across from gates 1 and 2.
According to the stadium, MARTA is the fastest and easiest form of transportation to the stadium. There are two stations connected to the station, Vine City Station and the GWCC/CNN Center Station. Fans using ride-share options should drop-off and pickup at zone 1 in front of building C and zone 2 at South Downtown ATL.
The venue warns it will be difficult to use ride-share after the concert.
Important information about parking and tailgating
There are more than 20,000 parking spots available within a 20-minute walk of the stadium. However, each vary in price depending on a variety of factors including proximity and availability. Attendees are highly encouraged to purchase parking in advance on the stadium's official website as many spaces have already sold for some of Beyoncé's shows.
Parking lots open at 2 p.m. local time. Tailgating is permitted ahead of the show in the Home Depot Backyard areas for ticket holders only. Fans are expected to head inside the concert within 30 minutes of the show start time. After, up to four people may stay in the specific tailgate spot to maintain security of the equipment.
Fans may find information about tailgating here.
What's the weather in Atlanta?
From the United States to Europe, Beyoncé and her fans have braved severe weather conditions, an evacuation, cold temperatures and rainy weather for her concerts. Fans should take note of the weather in their respective cities before putting on their chic cowboy-core attire.
In Houston, fans can expect some rain and hot temperatures. It's important to stay hydrated before and during the nearly three-hour show. Forecasts predict rain on Thursday, Friday and Sunday with highs in the 80s and 90s expected for the concerts. Meanwhile the temperature is expected to be 92 degrees for the last show on July 14.
Per the artist's request, the roof will be closed so umbrellas will not be needed.
Bag policy at Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Fans must follow the NFL clear-bag policy at the stadium. Guests are allowed to bring bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12-by-6-by-12 inches. This includes clear backpacks, clear fanny packs and clear cinch bags.
Attendees are also permitted to bring one-gallon clear plastic freezer bags, but the logo can only be on one side. Additionally, small, non-clear bags that do not exceed 4.5-by-6.5 inches, with or without a handle or strap, are allowed. Medical bags or kits are acceptable and will be searched at the gate.
Small cameras and cell phones are allowed if they are carried in loosely or in an approved clear bag. Non-professional cameras with non-removable lenses are permitted as long as the lens is less than 5 inches in length. Signs must be handheld, event-related and in good taste, and cannot obstruct another guest's view.

Destiny's Child Reunites Onstage During Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter Tour Finale In Vegas
Source: Kevin Mazur / Getty Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams reunited onstage during the final stop of the Cowboy Carter Tour in Las Vegas – and yes, the moment was as good as we thought it would be. Destiny's Child's stage moment marked the last show of Beyoncé's 32-stop tour across the U.S. and Europe. In true form, Queen Bey saved one of the biggest surprises for last. As soon as the trio emerged, concert-goers went wild. It was a dream moment for longtime fans who've been craving a full-circle performance since the Coachella 2018 cameo and Beyoncé's Super Bowl halftime show in 2013. Beyoncé, Michelle, and Kelly delivered a three-song medley that blended nostalgia and surprise — opening with 'Lose My Breath,' merging into Beyoncé's 'Energy' with Michelle and Kelly joining in for the now-legendary Mute Challenge, and closing with the fan-favorite 'Bootylicious.' Each of them took the stage with confidence, vocals, and a whole lot of style. Speaking of style, let's discuss fashion. Because the visuals alone of the trio in their gold fits are a moment. Beyoncé wore a high-cut gold sequin bodysuit with sheer mesh panels and long, layered fringe that dripped from her arms and legs. Her silhouette was curvaceous and commanding, and the gold shimmer hit under the stage lights like fire. Kelly stepped out in a gold knit bodysuit layered under shimmery wide-leg trousers with metallic texture. The fashion icon rocked trendy details, including star nips and a metallic belt. Michelle gave us fringe and fire. The Broadway star donned metallic gold pants with slits and layers of white fringe paired with a matching sparkly crop top. Throughout the Cowboy Carter Tour , Beyoncé brought out a long list of surprise guests – from country stars and rising voices to longtime collaborators and her husband Jay Z – but Destiny's Child reunion was the chef's kiss. The chemistry, the looks, and the sisterhood were unmatched. And just when fans thought the surprises were over, social media lit up again after the show. A now-viral video shows Beyoncé and her daughter, Blue Ivy, sharing sweet moments with former Destiny's Child member LeToya Luckett's children (shared with Tommicus Walker) backstage. In the clips, Beyoncé warmly greets the kids, posing for photos and smiling ear to ear. Blue Ivy also poses with them. The content reminds fans of the group's sisterhood and evolution over the years. Destiny's Child will forever be 'girls' girls,' and we are here for it. SEE ALSO Destiny's Child Reunites Onstage During Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter Tour Finale In Vegas was originally published on

Donald Trump says Beyoncé should be 'prosecuted' for alleged Harris endorsement payment
Donald Trump still has a political bone to pick with Queen Bey. The president, who has previously voiced criticism of celebrities who showed support for his election counterpart, Kamala Harris, took to social media on Saturday, July 26, to renew his unfounded claim that pop star Beyoncé was allegedly paid $11 million to endorse Harris' presidential bid. In the lead-up to the 2024 presidential election, the "Cowboy Carter" songstress made her endorsement of Harris official when she appeared at the former vice president's abortion rights rally in her hometown of Houston in October. She also cleared the usage of her 2016 song "Freedom" for Harris, and the tune became the Democratic nominee's official campaign song. "I'm looking at the large amount of money owed by the Democrats after the presidential election and the fact that they admit to paying, probably illegally, $11 million dollars to singer Beyoncé for an ENDORSEMENT (she never sang, not one note...)," wrote Trump in a fiery Truth Social post, also citing alleged endorsement payments to media mogul Oprah Winfrey and civil rights activist Al Sharpton. USA TODAY has reached out to a representative for Beyoncé for comment. "Can you imagine what would happen if politicians started paying for people to endorse them. All hell would break out!" Trump concluded. "Kamala and all of those that received endorsement money BROKE THE LAW. They should all be prosecuted! Thank you for your attention to this matter." Trump's digital tirade comes just two months after he accused the Grammy-winning singer and other celebrities of being paid to publicly support Harris' candidacy. In a May Truth Social post, the GOP president announced plans for a "major investigation" into the Harris campaign's celebrity endorsements. Catch up: Trump calls Beyoncé's endorsement of Kamala Harris 'illegal' Did Beyoncé receive payment for Kamala Harris endorsement? At the time of Trump's original allegations in May, the Federal Election Commission had no record of an $11 million payment to Beyoncé from Harris' presidential campaign. Additionally, the agency does not have rules explicitly prohibiting candidates from paying for endorsements. It is unclear where Trump got the unsubstantiated $11 million figure. The Harris campaign last year rejected a rumor that it paid Beyoncé $10 million for her endorsement that spread on social media shortly after the music star's October 2024 appearance with Harris. Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles, also pushed back at the $10 million rumor in a November 2024 Instagram post, calling it "false information" and a "lie." She added that the singer "actually paid for her own flights for her and her team." Oprah Winfrey says she was not paid a 'personal fee' for Kamala Harris rally What has Beyoncé said about Kamala Harris campaign? During her October 2024 appearance at Harris' rally, Beyoncé, who was joined by fellow singer and Destiny's Child alum Kelly Rowland, said "It's time for America to sing a new song" when describing Harris' presidential bid. "I'm not here as a celebrity. I'm not here as a politician. I'm here as a mother," the pop star added. "Your freedom is your God-given right, your human right." Harris has long been a fan of Beyoncé. The California-born politician attended the singer's Renaissance World Tour in 2023 just outside of Washington, D.C., after she gifted Harris tickets. Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams Have Destiny's Child Reunion at ‘Cowboy Carter' Concert
Beyoncé just closed out her Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour with a bang — and staged a Destiny's Child reunion to celebrate. Beyoncé, 43, performed at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, July 26, where her former bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams made a surprise appearance. Beyoncé rose from underneath the stage at one point, flanked by Rowland, 44, and Williams, 46, in now-viral social media footage. The trio coordinated in sparkling gold bodysuits as they performed hits like 'Bootylicious' and 'Lose My Breath.' Beyoncé even entrusted her longtime pals for the evening's 'Mute Challenge,' where the crowd is instructed to be completely silent before the song resumes. 'Just me and my crew,' Beyoncé quipped, switching up the lyrics. 'Big energy!' Beyonce Reunites With Destiny's Child at 50th Birthday Celebration for Kelly Rowland's Husband Long before kicking off her impressive and accolade-filled solo career, Beyoncé was a founding member of Destiny's Child alongside Rowland, LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett. After the latter two left the girl group in 2000, Williams came aboard. Destiny's Child officially disbanded six years later as Beyoncé, Rowland and Williams all went on to pursue solo careers. Beyoncé, Rowland and Williams have since reunited multiple times through the years, including at Beyoncé's 2013 Super Bowl halftime show and set at Coachella in 2018. Beyoncé's dad, Mathew Knowles, later hoped to see the girls perform together once more. 'I certainly hope so. I also understand that Kelly and Beyoncé are mothers and they have a family and that changes the dynamics,' Knowles, 73, exclusively told Us Weekly in May 2020. 'Each one of the ladies are successful in their own right. They all have their individual solo careers. So coordinating family, careers, that's a lot of juggling. I'm sure in due time the ladies will decide if that's what they want to do and if they do or do not as supportive as I could be as their manager.' Kelly Rowland Praises 11-Year-Old Blue Ivy's Work Ethic on Beyonce's 'Renaissance Tour': 'I'm Very Proud' He added, '[Their Coachella performance] shows how much they practiced, that 10 years later they cannot miss a beat. It's just remarkable. It shows that their dedication was really there. I know these ladies, they have strong work ethics. I'm extremely proud of all three of them.' Rowland is a mom of two, sharing sons Titan, 10, and Noah, 4, with her husband, Tim Weatherspoon. Beyoncé, meanwhile, shares daughter Blue Ivy, 13, and twins Sir and Rumi, both 7, with husband Jay-Z. Beyoncé's daughters, Blue and Rumi, have also both been frequent presences during performances of 'Protector' on the Cowboy Carter Tour. Solve the daily Crossword
