Aston Martin Reveals One-Off DB12 Volante ‘Palm Beach Edition'

Web Release05-06-2025
Aston Martin has introduced a stunning one-off DB12 Volante, dubbed the 'Palm Beach Edition.' Created through its Q by Aston Martin division in collaboration with Aston Martin Palm Beach, the car combines British elegance with coastal South Florida flair.
Aston Martin showcases the exclusive one-off DB12 Volante 'Palm Beach Edition'
This custom open-top Super Tourer features an exclusive Frosted Glass Blue exterior. The paint, hand-sprayed with glass flakes, delivers a distinctive shimmer inspired by sunlight on the ocean. A Club Sport White pinstripe accents the splitters, sills, and bumpers, emphasizing the car's sleek silhouette. Additionally, gloss jet black diamond-turned wheels complete its bold and athletic appearance.
Bespoke Interior Inspired by Palm Beach
The cabin showcases a sophisticated blend of materials and colour. A duotone Aurora Blue and Ivory leather interior is enhanced by Spicy Red contrast stitching, adding a pop of vibrancy. Palm-leaf motifs appear throughout the design — embroidered on the seats, centre armrest, and door sills — evoking the essence of Palm Beach.
Moreover, the dashboard is embossed with Palm Beach's exact latitude and longitude, grounding the vehicle in its geographic inspiration. Behind the front seats, book-matched wood veneer panels feature engraved 'Palm Beach' metal inlays, reinforcing the tropical theme with refined craftsmanship.
A Showcase of Q by Aston Martin's Personalisation
Pedro Mota, Regional President of Aston Martin The Americas, stated:
'This is an exceptional sportscar that merges stunning performance, artistry, and luxury.'
According to Mota, the Palm Beach Edition highlights the potential of the Q by Aston Martin division. It demonstrates how the brand can create fully bespoke vehicles that reflect the lifestyle and tastes of discerning collectors.
Ultimately, the DB12 Volante Palm Beach Edition is more than a showpiece. It's a celebration of craftsmanship, innovation, and individuality, pushing the boundaries of personalisation in luxury automotive design.

Opinion: Germany's zeal for Israeli genocide revives its dangerous exceptionalism

Germany is open about its uninhibited support for Israel's war of extermination and genocide in Palestine, and wants to make sure the entire world sees it. Recognition for its Zionist zeal enables Germany to rehabilitate its exceptionalism, or Sonderweg, with catastrophic consequences for Palestinians and international law. Germany is not uniquely evil among liberal democracies in offering Israel unconditional support in killing starving Palestinians. Chancellor Friedrich Merz is no more morally bereft than British Prime Minister Keir Starmer or French President Emmanuel Macron. But Germany exalts Zionist radical evil to assert its uniqueness. Germany remains as hungry for national identity as it has ever been, and nothing can stand in its way - least of all Palestinians, who appear in the German consciousness only when establishment forces fail to erase their existence. Germany's pursuit of greatness has unleashed immense violence and destruction, from genocidal conquests in Africa to two world wars and the extermination of European Jews. Its defeat and division after World War Two, and integration into Nato and the EU, seemed to put the German threat to rest. Yet Germany has bounced back with a vengeance, thanks to economic prowess and global reordering. While it has championed the rule of law and democracy within the EU like no other, it has not hesitated to set them aside when they conflict with its core interests - whether to impose its economic model and austerity on all member states, pursue energy policy at the expense of European partners (Nord Stream 2), or break fiscal rules it had imposed on the rest.
