ED summons in illegal betting apps case According to a report by IANS, the 'Baahubali' actor reached the ED's regional office in Basheerbagh, Hyderabad, around 10:30 a.m., responding to a summons issued by the central agency. Rana is the third actor to appear before the ED in this matter, following Vijay Deverakonda and Prakash Raj. He was initially asked to appear on July 23 but sought an alternative date due to prior film shooting commitments. The agency had agreed, scheduling his questioning for today. The ED's investigation comes from allegations that multiple celebrities promoted or endorsed betting platforms that violate the Public Gambling Act of 1867. The agency had also summoned people like Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, Vijay Deverakonda, Manchu Lakshmi, and others over the same case in July.
