Pakistani actress and model Humaira Asghar Ali was found dead inside her apartment in Karachi's Defence Housing Authority (DHA) on Tuesday. According to police officials, the 32-year-old had been living alone in a rented flat.. The apartment's iron gate, wooden door, and balcony were all locked from the inside, further indicating that no one else was involved.Post-mortem examination was carried out on Tuesday night. Police surgeon Dr. Summaiya Syed noted that the body was in an advanced state of decomposition, and the cause of death has been 'reserved' pending detailed forensic analysis. Investigators are currently trying to trace her family using her mobile records.According to Geo News, neighbours had become suspicious after noticing a foul smell coming from the flat and a lack of activity for several days. Some reports suggest the police were alerted by concerned residents as early as 3 am on Tuesday, but formal action was taken later in the day.Born on October 10, 1992, in Lahore, Humaira Asghar Ali pursued higher education in the arts, earning both Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the National College of Arts, followed by an M.Phil from Punjab University. She trained extensively in theatre, painting, and graphic design.Humaira began her modeling career in 2013, becoming a familiar face at major fashion events such as Bridal Couture Week and Fashion Pakistan Week. She was also a finalist in the Veet Miss Super Model 2014 contest.Her theatre background was equally significant. From 2002 onwards, she performed in over 110 stage productions with respected groups such as Ajoka Theatre and Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop.On television, she appeared in several serials including Laali, Sirat-e-Mustaqeem, Benaam, and Chal Dil Mere. As per intelligence input, 42 terrorist launch pads are active in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir near the LOC. 110–130 terrorists are suspected to be present in these launch pads. 70–75 terrorists are active in the Kashmir valley. 60–65 terrorists are active in Jammu, Rajouri, Poonch. About 115 of these are Pakistani terrorists. Three terrorists who were involved in the Pahalgam terror attack, were caught napping by security forces in a forest area in the outskirts of Srinagar before they were neutralised. Security agencies tracked them down after intercepting a satellite communication, sources said.

Srinagar: As Defence Minister Rajnath Singh began the Operation Sindoor debate in Parliament, security forces scored a massive win today by gunning down three Pakistani terrorists in an encounter near Srinagar, two of them involved in the Pahalgam attack in which 26 innocents were murdered in cold blood. Suleman Shah, a Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist, was identified as the mastermind of the April 22 terror attack that shook the nation. Security sources have confirmed that he was among the terrorists killed in the encounter this morning. Today's operation, named Operation Mahadev, neutralised two other terrorists: Abu Hamza and Yasir. Yasir, too, is believed to be among the Pahalgam killers. Security forces from the Army, CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police were part of today's joint operation. Suleman served in the Pakistan Army and was also known as Hashim Moosa. In the aftermath of the terror attack at Pahalgam's Baisaran Valley, the Jammu and Kashmir Police had announced a Rs 20 lakh reward on anyone providing information about Suleman. All the terrorists, it is learnt, were "high-value" targets and foreign nationals. According to reports, the security forces acted on an intelligence input and launched the operation in the Mulnar area of Harwan. Reinforcements have been rushed to the area and a combing exercise is on. NDTV has also accessed a photo of the terrorist hideout that was targeted in Operation Mahadev. The visuals show multiple guns in the hideout located deep inside a forest area. According to sources, Carbine and AK-47 rifles, 17 rifle grenades and other arms and ammunition were recovered during the encounter. Security forces suspect that the terrorists were planning a big action in Jammu and Kashmir.
