The duo wrote their names into British sporting history by winning ice dance gold at the 1984 Winter Games with their routine to Ravel's Bolero. For their farewell tour they recreated the routine, complete with their purple ombre costumes.
Following their final performance together, Dean, 66, said: 'The performance went well and the audience were amazing and so, for us, to be able to bow out on a high like that was wonderful.'

When they saw themselves on the big screen, the pair quickly separated and attempted to hide their faces, with Byron ducking down and the woman turning her back to the camera. "Whoa, look at these two,' Coldplay singer Chris Martin said. 'Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy." In another clip circulating social media, the musician can be heard saying: "Did we rumble you? Holy s***. I hope we didn't do something bad." The moment quickly went viral on social media, leading many to speculate on Byron's relationship status, while the CEO's wife reportedly removed the Byron surname from her Facebook account before later deleting it. Astronomer has now issued a statement saying they were investigating the incident. In a post on LinkedIn, they said: "Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability. "The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter, and we will have additional details to share very shortly." They also said a third woman in the video, who was seen looking slightly embarrassed by the gaffe, was not an Astronomer employee as some on social media had speculated. Astonomer has seen rapid growth since Byron became CEO in 2023, and the firm is now valued at over $1bn (£750m).

Netflix series 'so addictive' fans binge watch in one night
Others comment on the mind bending ending A Netflix series dubbed 'so addictive' by fans they tell other viewers that they can easily binge watch it all in just one night. Behind Her Eyes was originally released on the streaming platform back in 2021. It is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Sarah Pinborough. Steve Lightfoot, the writer and showrunner behind such hits as The Punisher, Narcos and Hannibal, adapted it for the screen. The story follows a single mother who enters a world of twisted mind games when she begins an affair with her psychiatrist boss while secretly befriending his mysterious wife. Its cast includes British actor Tom Bateman, along with Eve Hewson, who is the daughter of Bono and went on to star in Netflix's Perfect Couples. One Netflix user on Reddit posted asking for recommendations on a perhaps lesser known title on the platform that they could binge. They said: "Ideally seeking one of those shows where it would take a physical intervention to stop you watching the next episode. Like Severance, or early Lost, or similar. Just something compelling and bingeable that I haven't seen!" An early and popular response was the suggestion for Behind Her Eyes with many claiming it can be binged in just a day. A review of the six-part series claimed: "A masterclass in suspense and mystery: Behind Her Eyes is a thrilling journey that grips you from the first frame to the last. "This Netflix series, adapted from Sarah Pinborough's novel, delivers a narrative that is both seductive and unsettling, proving to be a masterclass in psychological suspense." One fan, sharing their thoughts online said: "I pretty much binge watched most of it in one day. I never really got bored. Each episode was amazing. If you're after a good thriller, this is a must watch." Another agreed: "This show is worth every second. The ending had me gasping, very unpredictable and extraordinary plot, definitely a psychological thriller! I binged watched it all in one day and it's the best-limited series I've seen in a while. "All the characters are just amazing and the plot is unlike anything any of us have ever seen before. This is definitely worth your time, if you're contemplating whether to watch or not, trust me the ending will be worth it!" Many people who have already watched it comment on the show's twist ending. A viewer posting on social media said it left them "messed up for days.' Someone else commented: "Absolutely loved this series! Excellent acting all round, Eve Hewson can do no wrong. Over a thousand flock to Swingathon as village hosts UK's biggest taboo festival
The annual three-day 'Swingathon' event in Allington, Lincolnshire is going ahead despite local concerns about the quiet village becoming the 'swingers capital of England' Thousands of people are set to descend on a sleepy British village this weekend - but they won't be there to enjoy the charms of country life. The annual ' Swingathon ' event got underway in the village of Allington, near Grantham, Lincolnshire last night, attracting people from across the country for a three-day celebration of non-monogamous relationships. Its organisers insist that the weekend is not a ' sex festival' but instead an 'adult alternative lifestyle event', offering an array of adult-themed entertainment including play tents, pole dancing performances, hot tubs, foam parties, mobile dungeons, and games. The estimated 1,000 attendees - who have the option of camping or paying extra for a glamping spot - are charged £210 each if arriving on their own, or £250 total as a couple. But not everyone will be welcoming the hordes of swingers with open arms, as residents of Allington, a village with a population of just 7,900, have repeatedly voiced their grievances about noise and disruption caused by the event. One resident, who wished to remain anonymous, told Lincolnshire Live: "We're becoming known as the swinger's capital of England just because of this festival and that's not a title we want. Its mostly elderly people and families here so you can imagine them spitting their tea out when they learned we were to be the home of Swingathon. "It's usually the talk of the village, some say let consenting adults do whatever they want to do, but I know many are not pleased they have chosen here for such activities. It's just a bit seedy and sleazy isn't it? Not for me I'm afraid." To deal with the local concerns, for its fifth year the festival has moved to a more secluded spot to accommodate its growing popularity, and to head off any noise complaints. Organisers are keen to dispel some of negative perceptions about what goes on at the event, and Matthew Cole, organiser of Swingathon, said: "Contrary to some beliefs, there are no keys in bowls, seedy music, lecherous individuals or a high level of STIs amongst this community. "In fact, individuals within this community are respectful, conscientious, and more likely to practise safe sex or be regularly tested than the average person you might meet on a night out in a club. "The team are passionate about normalising the sexual freedom that alternative lifestyles provide and continue to strive against prejudice and adversity to bring the community a safe and inclusive social, play and learning space." Festivalgoers have already flocked to social media to share pictures and clips of their experiences, with many looking like they're camping at any other festival, grilling bacon after a busy first night. Others have posted pictures and videos in their outfits, some of which leave little to the imagination. Other posts from vendors show off their wares for sale, including many intended for the bedroom. In a question and answer on their social media, Swingathon explained that there is a "good mix of couples, single male and females". They add that: "Every single person is checked and verified and has provided ID to ensure the safety of all festivalgoers."
