How will the Jets do this season?
Henry McKenna predicts that the Jets will finish the year at 8-9. Here's McKenna:
"The Jets had no shortage of talent last year, and I'm willing to bet the organization couldn't get the most out of its players because of the profound dysfunction stemming from awkward power dynamics involving Aaron Rodgers , Robert Saleh and Joe Douglas. Every single one of those guys is gone, for better and for worse. (Mostly for better.) There's a new era of coach Aaron Glenn, GM Darren Mougey and QB Justin Fields . I recently saw a Jets fan tweet that he wants the team to finish this season at either 5-12 or 12-5. In the playoffs. Or in the top 10 of the draft. But I'm sorry to say that I see it cutting right down the middle. No playoffs. Or a top-10 pick. And that'll make for a tough decision for New York about what to do with Fields in 2026."

Disney's ESPN to acquire NFL media assets in landmark deal
STORY: Disney's ESPN reached a landmark deal with the National Football League to acquire NFL Network, as well as other league media properties, on Tuesday. :: Kansas City Chiefs In exchange, the NFL will take a 10% equity in the sports network. Both parties on Tuesday confirmed the deal, which is still subject to regulatory approval. The Athletic, citing sources, reported it could potentially be worth billions of dollars. ESPN declined to comment on the figure, but said the deal would bolster the offerings on its upcoming ESPN streaming service, which will cost $29.99 per month, and could launch by the end of August, according to Disney's CEO. It will provide access to ESPN's popular studio shows, as well as its wide portfolio of professional and college sports. Under the new agreement, ESPN would own and operate the TV and streaming rights to the NFL Network, which will continue to carry seven games a year. Meanwhile, the league will continue to own, operate, and produce NFL RedZone, a service that allows fans to watch scoring highlights. The league also will retain ownership of certain media properties, such as NFL Films, and platforms such as the NFL Podcast Network and NFL+.
