Kellogg's releases new Smacks cereal spotted in Morrisons
Now, shoppers have spotted new Kellogg's Smacks in Morrisons stores across the UK.
The cereal, which is already available in the US, has been described as the "perfect breakfast" and is made from "delicious wheat and the sweet taste of honey".

Shoppers compare new Kellogg's cereal to discontinued favourite
Kellogg's new Smacks cereal has already drawn comparisons to a discontinued favourite - Sugar Puffs.
Sugar Puffs, made by Quaker Oats, were discontinued back in 2014, before being rebranded as Honey Monster Puffs.
The new rebranded cereal featured a new recipe with less sugar and more honey.
Discontinued UK sweets and chocolates
Shoppers have taken to social media to share their excitement about the similarities between the two cereals.
Commenting on a Facebook post by Snack Reviews about the new Kellogg's Smacks, one shopper said: "Omg sugar puffs! Literally love them!"
Another added: "Hopefully taste like they old sugar puffs before the lowered the sugar amount."
A third person posted: "I need to go get a few boxes , I love these , used to have them in Spain."
While this person commented: "I brought these back from Paris coz they were the nearest thing to sugar puffs I've ever tried, Amazing, hopefully they stick around."
Discontinued products that have made a comeback in 2025
Several discontinued Kellogg's cereals have already made a comeback in 2025.
Back in May, Coco Pops Straws and Cocoa Krispies Cereal Straws returned to UK shelves (at B&M) for the first time since they were discontinued 15 years ago.
Both products were initially launched by Kellogg's back in 2005 before being discontinued in 2010.

The last Sunday in May is a bank holiday so shoppers may find that some supermarket opening hours have changed - here's all you need to know about the openings for some major UK chains The August bank holiday is nearly here and, as expected, supermarket chains will be altering their opening hours. Bank holidays often result in three-day weekends for a majority of Brits, with many keen to do something nice to mark the end of the summer holidays. For those who have planned out their long weekend, it's useful to note any changes to store opening times just in case. Here's a breakdown of the opening and closing times of supermarkets you know and love this bank holiday Monday. Tesco On August 25, the majority of larger Tesco stores in England and Wales will open from 8am until 6pm. Tesco Express usually remain open from 6am to 11pm, or midnight, however, the majority of bigger Tesco Express stores in England and Wales will open from 8am until 6pm on the bank holiday. Sainsbury's Whilst larger Sainsbury's stores open between 7am and 8am, and close around 10pm and 11pm, from Monday to Saturday, their Sundays remain shorter with hours of 10am to 4pm in England and Wales. Note that Scotland stores have longer Sunday hours due to different trading laws. On the bank holiday Monday, Sainsbury's larger stores plan to open between 7am and 8am, and close at 8pm, with Scottish stores remaining as normal. Morrisons The majority of larger Morrisons stores open at either 6 or 7am, and shut at 10pm, from Monday to Saturday - with stores opening from 10am to 4pm on Sunday in England and Wales. But on August 25, the most larger Morrisons stores will shut two hours earlier at 8pm. The stores will remain as normal in Scotland on the day. Asda This bank holiday, most larger Asda stores in England and Wales will open from 8am until 10pm, with some stores closing a little earlier on the Saturday night. Asda Express usually run around-the-clock each day - even on Sundays and bank holidays. Aldi The supermarket has revealed its stores will be open as normal before the bank holiday - meaning that the majority of its stores will run from 8am to 10pm on Saturday, August 23, and from 8am until 4pm on Sunday, May 24. However, on August 25, Aldi has confirmed its closing time as an earlier 8pm. Scotland stores stay open later on Sundays, with their store closing times remaining the same on the Monday. Lidl Lidl. branches' times vary between stores, with some opening slightly later at 8am. The budget-friendly stores appear to be closing at the same time of 10pm. The Mirror advises shoppers to search up their store on Lidl's store locator before Monday, as hours may differ between locations. Waitrose Waitrose 's opening hours carry a huge difference from shop to shop, with some branches opening as early as 7am, while others waiting until 9am. As usual, shops will be open this weekend. The only change this bank holiday being the shorter hours on Monday 25, where most stores will adopt hours of 10am to 4pm. Note that the convenience store, Little Waitrose, may offer a slightly later closing time on the holiday. Check the Waitrose store finder before you leave for the shops, reports the Express. M&S M&S is known to adjust its opening hours for the bank holidays. With most of its chain stores opening at 8:30am and closing at 6pm. The majority of larger Morrisons stores open at either 6am or 7am and shut at 10pm, Monday to Saturday. Then on Sundays, shops in England and Wales are typically open from 10am until 4pm. But this bank holiday Monday (August 25) the majority of larger Morrisons stores will close slightly earlier at 8pm. There are different trading rules in Scotland, where Morrisons stores will be open as normal this bank holiday Monday. Morrisons smaller convenience stores, known as Morrisons Daily, have varying opening times, but they typically open at 6am and close normally between 6pm and 11pm, depending on your location. There will be no changes to Morrisons Daily opening times this Monday. It is advised that you check the opening times of your nearest store on the Morrisons website. It comes after the supermarket closed 17 of its Morrisons Daily stores this spring as part of its major restructure plans. The supermarket also announced plans to shut 52 of its in-store cafés, all 18 of its market kitchens, 13 florists, 35 meat counters, 35 fish counters and four pharmacies Morrisons said a "wide-ranging review" found these services were not cost-effective. The shake-up was also partly to "help mitigate recent significant cost increases" including an increase in employers' National Insurance and the minimum wage. Rami Baitiéh, Chief Executive of Morrisons, said at the time of the announcement: 'The changes we are announcing... are a necessary part of our plans to renew and reinvigorate Morrisons and enable us to focus our investment into the areas that customers really value and that can play a full part in our growth. 'Morrisons Cafés are rightly famous for their great quality well-priced food, their place in the local community and their appealing mix of traditional favourites alongside exciting new dishes. 'In most locations the Morrisons Café has a bright future, but a minority have specific local challenges and in those locations, regrettably, closure and re-allocation of the space is the only sensible option. 'Market Street is a beacon of differentiation for Morrisons and we remain committed to it. But as we modernise we are making some necessary changes to the areas of the model which are simply uneconomic. 'In some stores where we are closing counters or Cafés, we plan to work with third parties to provide a relevant specialist offer. Although these changes are relatively small in the context of the overall scale of the Morrisons business, we do not take lightly the disruption and uncertainty they will cause to some of our colleagues.'
