The split comes amid a reported rift between the Beckham familyRomeo Beckham and Kim Turnbull have broken up.
PEOPLE confirms they split within the last few weeks.
The couple confirmed their romance on Romeo's Instagram Stories in November 2024, sharing romantic shots, according to the Daily Mail. Later that same month, Romeo, 22, included her on his main Instagram grid, in a post documenting a family trip to New York City.
News of their breakup comes amid a rift between the Beckham family, as a source previously told PEOPLE that "there are tensions between Brooklyn and Nicola [Peltz] and the family." The pair were noticeably absent from David Beckham's 50th birthday bash in May.
"While the pair have been noticeably absent from the Beckhams' recent functions, the relationship is definitely not beyond repair. They love and are always there for him. They're just hurt and disappointed that he's now playing no part in family life," said the source.
Another insider, however, told PEOPLE that Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, who tied the knot in 2022, decided to skip the event because of Turnbull, who was once linked to Brooklyn.
"Brooklyn didn't want to be in the same room as her, and he told his dad that. But David opted to have Kim there over Nicola," said the insider.
A third source added, "Brooklyn and Kim know each other from the past, and his family knows he's not comfortable around her."
It is worth noting, however, that Brooklyn's younger brother, Cruz, told a commenter in an Instagram post that "Brooklyn and Kim never dated." A different source also told PEOPLE that the pair never dated.
A fifth insider close to the Beckham family also tells PEOPLE, "There were several events where Kim Turnbull wasn't present," including one of the family parties, which Brooklyn and Nicola could have attended.
PEOPLE also previously reported on the strained relationship between Brooklyn and his parents that allegedly stems from events at his wedding.
Earlier this month, PEOPLE learned that Brooklyn and Nicola hired a lawyer previously used by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry amid ongoing tensions within the Beckham family.

The pair are working with British lawyer Jenny Afia, who works for the Schillings law firm, per The Mail on Sunday, which first reported the news. According to the outlet, the pair hired the lawyer to help them with their "reputation management."

Jeremy Clarkson bans pub customer over £24 pie complaint
Jeremy Clarkson has banned a customer from his Oxfordshire pub after they criticised menu prices online — with the TV presenter bluntly declaring they were no longer welcome. The former Top Gear host, 64, runs The Farmer's Dog in Oxfordshire, which serves produce from his Diddly Squat Farm. But when a customer recently took to social media to complain about paying £24 for a pie and vegetables, Clarkson didn't hold back. 'Thought @JeremyClarkson wanted an affordable pub for customers,' the diner posted on X. '£24 for pie and veg is a bit much.' Another user chimed in, suggesting that cheaper US beef imports would help lower prices, adding: 'Dead weight for British beef is far too expensive £6.89/kg for R4L down from the record high £6.98/kg earlier in the month. 'I can't wait till we get US beef cuts here because British beef industry is now taking the piss at those prices.' Clarkson's reply was short and sharp: 'You are now banned from the pub.' This isn't the first time the broadcaster has blacklisted individuals from his establishment. Past figures barred from his pub include Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Clarkson's former Top Gear co-hosts James May and Richard Hammond — though those bans are widely assumed to be tongue-in-cheek. Clarkson has previously defended the pub's prices by emphasising his commitment to using only British ingredients and supporting local farmers — even if that means omitting popular products like ketchup, coffee, lemonade or Coca-Cola from the menu. A Birmingham Live reporter made the surprising revelation while visiting the Oxfordshire pub — which Clarkson opened last August — for a Sunday roast. 'You can't have coffee, ketchup or lemonade — there's a sign outside the pub explaining they don't serve coffee or ketchup,' they said. 'The people at the table next to us asked for a latte but were politely refused. I also asked for a cider shandy when we arrived but staff explained they don't sell lemonade.' Last month, the Clarkson's Farm star revealed US comedian Ellen DeGeneres has visited the joint since relocating to the Cotswolds. The Ellen DeGeneres Show host, 66, fled the US after Donald Trump was elected President. She moved to an Oxfordshire village with her wife, Portia de Rossi, 51, in November. Clarkson praised the star, saying she was 'very friendly' and 'lovely' to the staff at his pub. 'She lives in the village where our pub is. Absolutely I welcome them all,' he told The Mirror. 'Everyone said she has been cancelled but she seemed nice when she came to the pub, the staff said she was very friendly and lovely. I am not going to believe what I read online. She seemed lovely.' Clarkson previously admitted his pub 'is a total disaster' due to theft, high parking charges and toilet mishaps. He revealed in his Times column in December that he is forced to spend £27,000 a month on parking and traffic marshals 'to keep the council off our back'.

David Beckham to be awarded knighthood, reports suggests
David Beckham is to be awarded a knighthood in the King's Birthday Honours, according to reports. The former England captain will appear on the list due to be released next week, the Sun reported, having previously been awarded an OBE in 2003. Beckham, who played for his country 115 times and has carried out extensive charity work, has been in the running for a knighthood for more than a decade. The Unicef goodwill ambassador, who turned 50 in May, would take on the title of Sir and his wife, former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, would become Lady Beckham. He had been on the verge of receiving a knighthood in the 2014 New Year's Honours list but HM Revenue and Customs placed a red flag on his nomination due to his involvement in an alleged tax avoidance scheme, according to previous reports. Speculation that Beckham was in line for a knighthood grew after he announced his retirement from football in 2013. Footage published by the Sun shows the King asking Beckham if he 'received his 50th birthday present', during a conversation at the Chelsea Flower Show last month. The King appeared to say 'I'm glad it got to you', with Beckham responding: 'It was incredible, thank you, it was very kind'. The Queen was then heard telling Beckham: 'I'm glad you got the roses.' Beckham is the only Englishman to score at three different World Cups and his career included the treble-winning campaign of 1998-99, when Manchester United won the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League. He earned the third highest number of England caps of all time for the men's team, and was captain on 59 occasions. After playing for United, Los Angeles Galaxy and Real Madrid, Beckham turned to making his co-owned US team Inter Miami into a success. The former winger married Victoria, also known as Posh Spice, in 1999. Together the power couple starred in the Netflix documentary Beckham – which included a viral scene of her discussing class. The four-part documentary series about Beckham's life and professional career scored him an Emmy in 2024 for outstanding documentary or non-fiction series. Beckham was given his OBE for services to football on the recommendation of then-prime minister Tony Blair. His wife Victoria got the same honour for services to the fashion industry in a later New Year Honours list.
