2025's full Strawberry Moon is upon us — here's what's in the tarot cards for each zodiac sign
The 2025 full Strawberry moon will rise and shine on Wednesday, June 11 at 3:44 A.M EST — peaking at 20 degrees of Sagittarius.
In an affront to whimsy, the Strawberry Moon is not named for the moon's color, but rather for the season of fruition to which it lends its light.
Meaning of the Strawberry Moon
According to the Farmer's Almanac, June's full moon was known by the Algonquin, Ojibwe, Dakota, Lakota, Chippewa, Oneida, and Sioux tribes as the Strawberry Moon, as the first flush of summer coincides with the wild and widespread ripening of the fruit.

It's best to view a full Moon when it appears on the eastern horizon, just after the sun sets in the west — in this case, peak lunar peeping will be moonrise on Tuesday evening.

Start swinging your sword and slaying any dragons like the hero you are! Gemini May 21 – June 20 Few people are better at doubling up than you, Gemini. As the sign of the Twins, you often function best when part of a dynamic duo. Today's Full Moon in your 7th House of Coalitions is making this the perfect time to seek out partners of all kinds. They should all hatch without worry. Virgo August 23 – September 22 Focus on your foundations. There is no need to go rushing off into the world as the planets are turning your attention toward domestic matters, especially when the Full Moon empowers your 4th House of Heritage. A home-related issue may bubble up to the surface, possibly regarding a roommate or relative, or maybe you'll need to set your eye on the very structure of your house. Prepare yourself to handle this by tackling any little details ahead of time. That way, nothing should catch you off guard at the last minute. Capricorn December 22 – January 19 It's a good day to let something go. A special Full Moon in your 12th House of Endings is encouraging you to release things that no longer serve you, and let them float away, rather like a balloon you've let go of so that it can soar off into the big blue sky. This isn't about abandoning habits or objects that you want or need, but setting aside something no longer necessary. Ponder which parts of your life might fit that description. Aquarius January 20 – February 18 This is no time to take life on by yourself. There is a big emphasis on coming together for a common cause as your 11th House of Humanity hosts an empowering Full Moon. The atmosphere is ideal for connecting with people from all walks of life, be they old friends or new acquaintances. The people you surround yourself with could prove very influential and take you to some exciting places, so this is not the moment to act like a lone wolf. Pisces February 19 – March 20 You can achieve more than ever today. This ambitious boost is fueled by an extraordinary Full Moon in your 10th House of Publicity, putting a fire in your tank and helping you blast off toward the finish line that much more quickly. Projects that have been in the works for some time may finally be ready for their big debut, but you can also discover original opportunities to make a name for yourself out on the world's stage. Let yourself be heard!

Joey Chestnut in talks for July 4 Nathan's hot dog contest return
Competitive eating's biggest star could be back in the sport's most notable event this summer on Coney Island. Major League Eating and Joey Chestnut have been in talks for the legendary eater to return to the famed Fourth of July hot dog eating contest, The Post confirmed on Tuesday. TMZ first reported that the two sides had been actively negotiating to have Chestnut return to the annual Coney Island event a year after he was barred from competing over a contract dispute related to a sponsorship deal with another hot dog brand. Joey Chestnut celebrates after eating 57 hot dogs in five minutes at the Pop Goes the Fort eating contest on Fort Bliss, Texas on July 4, 2024. Justin Hamel for the NY Post This time around, that has not been a factor in talks and both parties want to get a deal done. Major League Eating declined to comment to The Post and a request for comment from Chestnut was not immediately returned. The Post had broken the news last year that the beloved competitive eater, colloquially called Jaws, had been barred from the July 4th Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Competition over his deal with Impossible Foods, which had launched a meatless hot dog at the time. The shocking controversy surrounding the hot dog eating contest was headline-making news across the city and even drew in Mayor Eric Adams, who called everyone to 'find a way to squash this beef' and allow the 16-time Nathan's hot dog eating champ to compete. Trophies for the 2024 Nathan's Famous Fourth of July Hot Dog contest. Paul Martinka Chestnut did not end up competing in the Nathan's contest and for the first time since 2015, someone other than Chestnut took home the Mustard Belt, with Chicago native Patrick Bertoletti claiming the crown last year after scarfing down 58 dogs. Signs that a potential return to the annual Fourth of July event popped up late last month when Chestnut expressed a desire to compete in this year's contest in an interview with The Blast, though he seemed to doubt a reunion would occur. 'If they came back with similar terms we were talking about last year, I would definitely consider it,' he said in the interview. 'I'd work with them to make sure there weren't any conflicts with other sponsors. … But honestly, I don't think they want to go down that route. And yeah, it's a bummer. I love that contest.' Chestnut is a household name for holding the record for most wins at the Nathan's competition and set the world record for most hot dogs eaten with 83, which he set last September, surpassing his previous mark of 76.
