Arab, int'l media outlets highlight Sisi's firm stance against Palestinian displacement

CAIRO, Jan 30 (MENA) – Arab and international media outlets widely covered President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's strong rejection of any attempt to forcibly displace the Palestinian people from their land.
They emphasized Egypt's steadfast stance in supporting Palestinian rights in accordance with international legitimacy and the two-state solution.
In Palestine, WAFA News Agency published a report titled 'Sisi: Forcing Palestinians Out of Their Homeland Is an Injustice Egypt Will Not Participate In.' The agency quoted President Sisi's statements that Egypt will never tolerate or allow such a move, as it threatens national security.
It also noted Sisi's commitment to working with US President Donald Trump to achieve a just and lasting peace based on the two-state solution.
The agency further reported that President Sisi stressed the existence of historical Palestinian rights that cannot be ignored and pointed out that global public opinion—not just in Egypt and the Arab world—recognizes the historical injustice suffered by the Palestinian people for over 70 years.
In Libya, the Alwasat news website focused on President Sisi's clear and principled stance on the Palestinian issue, emphasizing that Egypt will never accept the displacement of Palestinians nor compromise on its sovereignty over Sinai.
In Saudi Arabia, SPA (Saudi Press Agency) highlighted President Sisi's remarks that forcibly displacing Palestinians is an injustice that Egypt will never condone. He also reiterated Egypt's unwavering stance in support of the Palestinian cause, emphasizing that it remains non-negotiable under any circumstances.
The agency further reported that President Sisi, during a joint press conference with Kenyan President William Ruto in Cairo, stressed that the only viable and sustainable solution is the establishment of a Palestinian state based on the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
