Arab, int'l media outlets highlight Sisi's firm stance against Palestinian displacement
CAIRO, Jan 30 (MENA) – Arab and international media outlets widely covered President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's strong rejection of any attempt to forcibly displace the Palestinian people from their land.
They emphasized Egypt's steadfast stance in supporting Palestinian rights in accordance with international legitimacy and the two-state solution.
In Palestine, WAFA News Agency published a report titled 'Sisi: Forcing Palestinians Out of Their Homeland Is an Injustice Egypt Will Not Participate In.' The agency quoted President Sisi's statements that Egypt will never tolerate or allow such a move, as it threatens national security.
It also noted Sisi's commitment to working with US President Donald Trump to achieve a just and lasting peace based on the two-state solution.
The agency further reported that President Sisi stressed the existence of historical Palestinian rights that cannot be ignored and pointed out that global public opinion—not just in Egypt and the Arab world—recognizes the historical injustice suffered by the Palestinian people for over 70 years.
In Libya, the Alwasat news website focused on President Sisi's clear and principled stance on the Palestinian issue, emphasizing that Egypt will never accept the displacement of Palestinians nor compromise on its sovereignty over Sinai.
In Saudi Arabia, SPA (Saudi Press Agency) highlighted President Sisi's remarks that forcibly displacing Palestinians is an injustice that Egypt will never condone. He also reiterated Egypt's unwavering stance in support of the Palestinian cause, emphasizing that it remains non-negotiable under any circumstances.
The agency further reported that President Sisi, during a joint press conference with Kenyan President William Ruto in Cairo, stressed that the only viable and sustainable solution is the establishment of a Palestinian state based on the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Asharq Al-Awsat wrote that any forced removal of Palestinians would fuel instability and ignite tensions across the region.
Okaz Newspaper also covered Sisi's assertion that Egypt remains committed to supporting Palestinian rights and securing a comprehensive solution based on the establishment of a Palestinian state.

In Bahrain, Al Ayam newspaper shed light on President Sisi's rejection of any scenario involving the displacement of Palestinians and his insistence on a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
In Lebanon, the National News Agency (NNA) quoted President Sisi as stating that discussions about Palestinian displacement must not be tolerated or accepted due to their implications for Egyptian national security.
Elnashra, a Lebanese news website, reported on Sisi's statement that displacing Palestinians is an injustice Egypt will not participate in, and reaffirmed Egypt's commitment to achieving peace through the two-state solution.

Slovakia FM thanks Egypt for evacuating its nationals amid regional conflict - Foreign Affairs
Slovak Foreign Minister Juraj Blanár thanked Egypt during a phone call with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty on Thursday for facilitating the evacuation of Slovak nationals from Israel to Egyptian territory, ensuring their safe return home amid the ongoing regional escalation. During their call, the two top diplomats discussed the escalating regional tensions driven by the ongoing military confrontation between Israel and Iran. Minister Abdelatty warned of the danger that the Middle East could slide into chaos and stressed the need to de-escalate, halt hostilities, and contain the situation through political and diplomatic channels. Several governments have launched emergency operations to evacuate their nationals from Israel through Egypt and Jordan as Tel Aviv closed its airspace. On Wednesday, Poland and France urged their nationals to evacuate via Egypt's Sharm El-Sheikh or Jordan as safe exit points from the region. On Monday, the Czech Republic expressed hope for Egypt's assistance in evacuating its nationals from Israel. The two top diplomats also exchanged views on the recent developments in the Gaza Strip. Minister Abdelatty highlighted to his Slovakian counterpart Cairo's intensive efforts to restore the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Palestinians. Also on Thursday, during a separate phone call, Minister Abdelatty held similar regional discussions on the Israel-Iran conflict and the Gaza war with his Slovenian counterpart, Tanja Fajon.
