Emergency services in Edinburgh raced to the coastline on Sunday afternoon amid an ongoing incident.
Pictures taken from Cramond Island show a huge emergency response, with coastguard and RNLI at the scene on June 15.
The incident is understood to have taken place around 1.30pm and it is ongoing.
Images show several ambulances, a coastguard helicopter and a rock climber at the incident as concerned locals watch on.
A helicopter was also spotted circling the area as investigations are carried out. The exact nature of the incident is unknown at this time.

One local resident said: "Huge emergency response at Cramond. RNLI ambulance, helicopter, coastguard and rock climber are there."
Coastguard and RNLI have been approached for comment.
