'I was totally fooled': Behind-the-scenes footage of Lee Jun-hyuk's ad tickles netizens, Entertainment News
What you see isn't always what you get.
South Korean actor Lee Jun-hyuk currently endorses the clothing label Bean Pole, and his newest advertisement is making netizens laugh.
While it starts off looking like a regular commercial - the 41-year-old appears serene as he rides a bicycle in nature accompanied by calming background music - the tune cuts and the camera zooms out to show the reality.
Jun-hyuk has one foot on the ground, balancing himself on a penny-farthing and swaying his shoulders gently as four crouching men hold branches of leaves and run in circles behind him to mimic a moving picturesque background.
Another staff member is sat on a ladder, holding two electric air blowers to create a breeze.
Netizens took to the comments section to express their amusement.
"Jun-hyuk's acting is really great. I was totally fooled," said one netizen.
Another remarked: "Enough, I almost fainted because I couldn't stop laughing."
"I thought it was going to be a refreshing video, but it turned out to be a comical one," one mused.
Bean Pole didn't miss the chance to crack a joke in the comments section too: "The duck-walking is really hard."

Megan, half-Singaporean member of Katseye, comes out as bisexual
Megan shared that she realised she was attracted to women as early as the age of eight. PHOTO: MEGANSKIENDIEL/INSTAGRAM Megan, half-Singaporean member of Katseye, comes out as bisexual Megan, a member of the global girl group Katseye, has publicly come out as bisexual. During a live broadcast on fan platform Weverse with fellow member Lara on June 6 , the 19-year-old shared her identity with fans, stating: 'I'm coming out. I'm bisexual.' The two celebrated the moment together, jumping in place with joy. Megan, who has a Singaporean-Chinese mother and American-Swedish father, debuted in the US with the six-member group in 2024. This marks the second coming out within the group. Back in March, Lara revealed her sexual orientation through a Weverse live broadcast. She shared that she realised she was attracted to women as early as the age of eight, and confessed that she was deeply afraid when auditioning. 'I didn't know if people would accept me. I was scared it might ruin my chances,' she wrote at the time. With both Lara and Megan now openly identifying as members of the LGBTQ+ community, Katseye stands out as a rare example of queer representation in the K-pop scene. The sextet is a multinational and multi-ethnic K-pop girl group formed by South Korean entertainment company Hybe in collaboration with American label Geffen Records. The group will return with its second EP Beautiful Chaos on May 27. THE KOREA HERALD/ASIA NEWS NETWORK Join ST's Telegram channel and get the latest breaking news delivered to you.

E-Junkies: Katy Kung agreed to do tough labour in TVB reality show because 'might as well choose the most challenging one', Entertainment News
Hong Kong actress Katy Kung is an example of an artiste who goes all the way for her work, despite the challenging parts of the assignment. In a recent episode of TVB reality series A Day With A Pro, where artistes try out tough jobs, the 35-year-old is seen going all out as a maintenance worker, cleaning out cockroaches and faece-filled drainage systems. Speaking to AsiaOne on May 31 at StarHub's new flagship store in Paragon she said: "A lot of people asked why my company assigned me to do this show. That's actually not the case, they had asked me beforehand if I was okay to do related work like this. "I feel that since I agreed to do this, then I might as well choose the most challenging one. It was an unforgettable experience to have a chance to be exposed to work like this." Katy also recalled vividly of an instance where she opened up a drain cover and cockroaches skittered towards her. "I got quite a shock because they were running in my direction. If they were going in the opposite direction, then maybe I wouldn't be so afraid... I am actually okay seeing cockroaches, so long as they don't fly," she shared. She added that she experienced the tasks of a maintenance worker for two days for filming and while it was tough work, she also didn't want to delay the staff members. Katy shared: "To be honest, it was really tiring, but this was also a job where I had to coordinate with the other maintenance workers. So, I told myself that I needed to work faster, or they would have a difficult time too. "I couldn't just think about myself because everyone was also tired. It was a very hot day and there were no clouds at all. I just told myself to get the task done quickly so that the workers wouldn't have a tough time as well." A staff member offered her a lift home and told her later that the smell actually lingered in their vehicle for a few days. View this post on Instagram A post shared by 龔嘉欣 Katy Official (@kungkaty) Katy and TVB actor Him Law were in Singapore last weekend where they met and played games with fans at the StarHub flagship store in Paragon on May 31 and also performed outside Jurong Point the following day. She shared that she was last in Singapore about six years ago and looked forward to eating local food, especially black pepper crabs that evening. View this post on Instagram A post shared by AsiaOne (@asiaonecom) Katy arrived on May 31 and fans gathered at the airport to warmly welcome her. When asked how she felt meeting her fans, she said: "I actually felt quite apologetic today, because there was a delay, and I came out of the arrival hall late. But they were all waiting for me. "I had told them earlier not to come because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to take photos or sign autographs for them, but they were so nice, they waited for me for a long time and were also very enthusiastic. They even bought a pandan cake for me knowing that I love eating it." View this post on Instagram A post shared by hktvbfan (@hktvbfan) Katy also introduced her upcoming TVB drama The Map of Truth, which is expected to be released this year. She shared: "The title of the drama sounds like a variety show, but actually it's a drama. There is a small element of suspense, but it's also a touching story. There may be some scary scenes. It seems like audiences prefer series like this, such as Unchained Medley (2023)." The Map of Truth tells the story of feng shui expert Master Zhuang Yichen (Wayne Lai) who creates a social media channel to discuss and visit places with supernatural elements. As he gains popularity for his content, sceptic influencer Bi Ping (Katy) uses scientific explanations to debunk Master Zhuang's discussions and the two begin a fight to outwit each other, with the line between superstition and reality becoming increasingly blurred. Katy said that while filming the drama, they visited "almost every cemetery in Hong Kong" and shared an unforgettable experience she had. She recounted: "There was a day when I drove myself to the filming location, which was in a cemetery. The cemetery doesn't seem to be maintained and is located at the top of a mountain. A staff member told me [over the phone] that they would arrive in about half an hour, and I could meet them there, so I drove over. "But when I reached there, there was not a single person in sight. I thought I went to the wrong location, but when I called them, I was told that they had a delay and would arrive in another half an hour. I was alone at the cemetery, so I quickly lowered my car seat and closed my eyes to wait for them. That was quite an unforgettable experience." When asked if it was during the day or night, she responded that it was the former, adding with a laugh: "If it was nighttime, I would have left immediately." Cop Kim Dami's preppy style as Yoon Ena in Nine Puzzles
Courtesy of Disney+ In crafting the zany world of South Korean mystery thriller Nine Puzzles , director Yoon Jong-bin wanted its lack of realism to come across. Whilst its plotline—surrounding the case of a serial murder mystery that picks up again 10 years later—might come across sinister, the actual tone of the drama feels novelistic. Like something that only happens in comic books. Kim Dami and Son Sukku play Yoon Ena and Kim Hansaem in Nine Puzzles. Courtesy of Disney+ To achieve this nuance, the artistic direction and overall aesthetic was carefully curated. Much attention was specifically paid to the sartorial sensibilities of its main characters, Yoon Ena and Kim Hansaem, played by Kim Dami and Son Sukku respectively. The latter, whose character is a determined detective who has yet to give up on the cold murder case from a decade back, has a defining trick: every time he removes his hat or beanie, things are about to get really serious. On the other hand, Kim's character, Ena, wears her eccentricity like a second skin. From murder suspect to brilliant criminal profiler, her meddling ways are elaborated through a deliberate wardrobe of preppy pieces, impeccable tailoring and statement accessories. Courtesy of Disney+ 'She wears the necktie very often—a very important part of her outfit—and wears a lot of colours too. It's a little cartoonish in that way,' Kim tells Vogue Singapore. True enough, a spattering of neckties fill her closet, from leather options to uniquely patterned ones. Throughout the 11-episode narrative, she wears a range of outerwear, from preppy jackets to glossy bombers and strongly-shouldered plaid coats. Yet it's her flawless colour coordination that really gives Ena her sartorial flair; often mixing soft shades of blue with burgundy or bright reds. The use of reds especially, keeps suspense going through the episodes—her beloved crimson luggage becoming a key turning point in the midst of the puzzle-filled mystery. Yet of course, the one thing that bridges Kim with Ena is their shared love for Bottega Veneta. For how often the former has been seen in the front rows of the maison's shows, she certainly brought her sartorial inclinations into Ena's world: her trusty Cassette a mainstay throughout the show.
