With a single glare he unleashes a crushing concussive blast – Bonney is knocked back bleeding and screaming, and Sanji suffers a similar blow to the face. Luffy, still exhausted from using Gear 5 in the previous episode, is briefly saved by Franky, who pushes him out of the way of Saturn's next strike.
With Bonney and Sanji incapacitated, Saturn uses a telekinetic force to pin Franky, Sanji, and Dr. Vegapunk to the ground. Holding Bonney aloft, Saturn sneers that her father Kuma was 'born to be a slave' because of his forbidden Buccaneer bloodline. He taunts her further by ordering nearby Marines to train their guns on her head. Terrified, Bonney closes her eyes and retreats into Kuma's memories – triggering a flashback that dominates the rest of the episode.
