Naomi just reminded the world why she is one of the most powerful women in wrestling. At the Evolution 2 event in Atlanta, she shocked fans by cashing in her Money in the Bank contract and becoming the new Women's World Champion.
It was a fantastic twist in a night full of drama, and Naomi made it one to remember.
But this was not just about a title win. This was a moment that added to her long list of incredible firsts in
WWE
and beyond. Naomi did not just return, she made HERstory once again.
Naomi's list of firsts is like no one else's
Over the years,
Naomi
has broken barriers and made history at every step. She was the first Black woman to win the Money in the Bank, the first Black woman to win a title at WrestleMania, and the first Black woman to hold the SmackDown Women's Championship.
That alone would make her a legend, but she was not done.
— rseskota (@rseskota)
She and Sasha Banks became the first Black women to win the WWE Women's Tag Team titles. Naomi also made her mark outside WWE when she went to TNA and became the first Black woman to hold a title in both WWE and TNA. On top of that, she was the first woman to win the updated Knockouts Championship.
Even her style broke new ground. Naomi was the first woman to have a custom title belt and briefcase.

She also made waves as part of the first non-title women's match at WrestleMania, and at Evolution 2, she became the first woman to do a mid-match cash-in. That's a lot of history, and it has all Naomi.
How Naomi shocked everyone at Evolution 2
The nigt didn't start well for Naomi. She had a rough, hard-hitting match against
Jade Cargill
and lost. Many fans thought her night was over. But Naomi had other plans. Later in the night, as
Rhea Ripley
and
IYO SKY
fought for the Women's World title, Naomi ran in at the last moment with her Money in the Bank briefcase.

She turned their already thrilling match into a triple threat and hit her famous split-legged moonsault on SKY to win the title. The crowd went wild. Naomi stood tall, once again proving that she's never to be counted out.
Her win meant more than just gold; it was proof that Naomi is still that girl. For someone who has often been overlooked, this was a huge moment.
What's next for Naomi, the champion?
Now that Naomi holds the Women's World Title again, big challenges are coming. Jade Cargill will probably challenge her title belt at SummerSlam. IYO SKY and
Rhea Ripley
will want revenge, too. But Naomi is ready. She's been through ups and downs, and she always finds a way to shine.
Naomi is not just making history, she's rewriting it. And she's doing it all while inspiring others along the way. Naomi is a true HERstory maker, this is just another amazing chapter in her story.

Harry Potter TV series update: First look of HBO's Harry Potter out. Who is Dominic McLaughlin?

The highly anticipated television adaptation of Harry Potter by HBO has begun making waves with the release of its first official image. The still features Dominic McLaughlin stepping into the iconic role of the boy wizard. At just 11 years old, McLaughlin was selected after a thorough audition process conducted across the UK, targeting children between the ages of 9 and 11. Alongside him, Alastair Stout will portray the red-haired Ron Weasley, and Arabella Stanton will step into the role of the brilliant Hermione Granger. All three young actors were revealed to the public earlier in May. Just like Daniel Radcliffe before him, McLaughlin is seen donning Harry's signature round spectacles and the recognizable maroon-and-gold uniform of Gryffindor House . The new trio of child actors will be joined by several acclaimed performers portraying iconic adult characters from the Harry Potter universe. John Lithgow has been cast as the wise and powerful headmaster Albus Dumbledore. Nick Frost will appear as the warm-hearted half-giant Hagrid, while Janet McTeer takes on the stern yet compassionate Professor McGonagall. Paapa Essiedu has been signed on to portray the complex and mysterious Severus Snape. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like You might be interested in the content above Additional casting updates reveal more familiar names from the wizarding world. Rory Wilmot will play Neville Longbottom, Amos Kitson will portray Harry's cousin Dudley Dursley, Louise Brealey will appear as flying instructor Madam Hooch, and Anton Lesser has been chosen to play wandmaker Garrick Ollivander. Filming will take place at the iconic Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden, Hertfordshire—the same location where the original eight Harry Potter films were produced. HBO has emphasized that the series aims to remain closely aligned with J.K. Rowling's beloved novels, offering the creative space to delve more deeply into the narrative's intricate subplots and character development that time constraints in film previously limited. With Mark Mylod, known for his work on Succession, serving as one of the directors, the series is slated for release in 2027—coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the publication of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, as per a BBC report. Who Is Dominic McLaughlin? He is considered a fresh face in the entertainment industry, having landed this major opportunity after responding to an open casting call. Despite being new to the mainstream spotlight, he has previously participated in smaller projects, including the Sky Original film Grow and an upcoming BBC drama titled Gifted, both expected to be released later this year.

Exclusive - Pankhuri Awasthy on her impactful cameo in Dhakad Beera; says 'This show is actually a sort of comeback for me after delivering my twins'

Pankhuri Awasthy Rode, known for her strong performances in shows like Razia Sultan, Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Maddam Sir and Gud Se Meetha Ishq, is now seen in a special cameo in the upcoming show Dhakad Beera, which goes on air from 24th July. The trailer of the show has already made a strong impact, and Pankhuri's appearance has caught everyone's attention for its emotional intensity. Pankhuri says, 'This may be a cameo, but it's one of the most emotional roles I've done after Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka. The moment I heard the scenes, I felt something deep inside. I knew it was going to stay with me. Especially the fact that I was playing a mother after becoming one myself really connected with me. There was pain, helplessness, silence, and strength all in one… so much to express and perform, which is what made it more powerful for me. ' She shares, 'There are such emotional scenes that I had tears in my eyes while just reading them on paper…' Adding further, she says, 'This show is actually a sort of comeback for me after delivering my twins. Figuring out how to balance my work and my babies was something I was very skeptical about—and a powerful cameo seemed like the right way to test the waters and return to what I love most: acting.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like An engineer reveals: One simple trick to get internet without a subscription Techno Mag Learn More Undo Even though her role in Dhakad Beera is brief, her performance leaves a deep impact. Fans have already begun talking about her emotional presence and expressive depth. She shares, 'Another aspect that truly drew me to this show was its strong social relevance. It sheds light on pressing issues that still exist in certain parts of our country—even today, many people are not free to live their lives on their own terms. The storyline is rooted in the harsh reality of honour killings, and beyond its emotional and narrative depth, I was deeply moved by the intention behind it. As an actor, I feel incredibly fulfilled when I'm part of projects that aim to create awareness, spark conversations, or bring about change in society. Even if the story manages to touch just one heart or change one mindset, it means the show has done its job. I truly believe we, as artists, have the power to influence thought and inspire change—and being part of something with that kind of impact is what makes me feel most connected to my craft.' She concludes, 'Every second I was on screen, I gave it my full heart. I'm truly glad I got to be a part of this story, and I hope it touches the audience's heart as well.'
