Comedian Prakash Daniel To Bring Internationally-Acclaimed 'Lobster Boy' Tour To Malaysia
Following a wildly successful run in Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth in April and May 2025, the tour returns to Malaysia to offer local comedy lovers a fresh, hilarious, and deeply personal perspective from one of the nation's most dynamic entertainers. Inspired by his upbringing in the vibrant, sometimes chaotic, neighbourhood of Jalan Udang Galah (Lobster Street) in Segambut, Kuala Lumpur, the show is Prakash's most intimate and side-splitting show to date.
'Lobster Boy' delves into his childhood as a Malaysian Indian growing up in a lower-middle-class family, and his journey of self-acceptance and friendship, trauma and healing, taking audiences on a laugh-out-loud trip down memory lane. 'Growing up in the 90s was wild, weird, and wonderful. We didn't have the internet, but we had pirated VHS tapes, hand-me-down sneakers, and neighbourhood drama that could rival any reality show. 'Lobster Boy' is my love letter to those days and to everyone who's ever felt like they didn't quite fit in,' said Prakash Daniel.
