The event celebrated Singapore's 60th year of independence with a grand display of national pride.
Malaysia's Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi represented the Malaysian government at the invitation of Singapore.
Also present were the Sultan of Brunei, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
This marked the first time foreign dignitaries were invited to the parade since 2019.
Themed 'Majulah Singapura,' the parade began with a pre-show featuring the SAF parachute team, the Red Lions.
Naval divers from the Republic of Singapore Navy performed the 'Jump of Unity' at Marina Bay.
President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and Prime Minister Lawrence Wong arrived at 6.30 pm to officially start the main event.
A record 40 marching contingents participated, the largest since 1990.
The military tattoo showcased performances by the SAF Band, Singapore Police Force Band, and student performers.
The Republic of Singapore Air Force delivered a special aerial tribute, thrilling the 27,000-strong crowd.
The Mobile Column returned with a combined aerial-flypast, maritime display, and drive-past involving multiple agencies.
A total of 170 assets were featured, including new military equipment making their debut.
The show segment included 39 local artistes and over 3,000 performers, including Malaysian rock legend Datuk Ramli Sarip.
A 360-degree centre stage, the largest in NDP history, was a highlight of the celebrations.
The evening ended with fireworks and a nationwide 'Majulah Moment,' uniting Singaporeans in reciting the National Pledge.

At a recent press conference here to announce her "BCL: Eternal Love – Timeless Romance" concert, the Indonesian diva described the opportunity to share the stage with Jaclyn as "deeply meaningful and a great honour'. "I've been a fan of Jaclyn for a long time. When she started singing at this event (the press conference), I nearly cried. She has a powerful yet gentle voice. I think she is one of the greatest singers in Asia," she said during the event in KL last month. Jaclyn, who has won numerous awards, including at the Eighth Shanghai Asia Music Festival, said when she received the invitation to sing at BCL's concert about a month or two ago, she agreed without hesitation out of respect for the Indonesian singer's stature in the regional music industry. Meanwhile, the Bunga Citra also said that she first knew Lau after seeing a video of him covering her hit song "12 Tahun Terindah", which the singer said was very well executed. That also played a role in her choosing Lau to guest-perform at the concert. "He is a brilliant musician. That says it all. We're gonna give a performance fans will not forget," said Bunga Citra. ILMU is Malaysia's own multimodal large language model (LLM), trained on local language and data to understand our culture, context and daily realities. Fully developed, owned and operated in Malaysia, it is built by YTL AI Labs, in partnership with Universiti Malaya (UM). ILMU keeps data local and gives the nation strategic control over its AI future, ensuring we lead with intelligence rooted in our own values and voice. 'The Fox King' selected for premiere at 50th Toronto International Film Festival
KUALA LUMPUR: The Fox King, a joint Indonesia and Malaysia production, has been selected to premiere at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Deputy Communications Minister Teo Nie Ching, said that the film's selection at one of the world's largest film festivals highlights the potential of regional collaborations to make an impact in the international market. "I am very proud of the achievement of this film, which has successfully secured a spot at one of the world's largest film festivals - the 50th TIFF. This recognition will undoubtedly help elevate the quality and value of collaborative films, between our two neighbouring countries, on the global stage. "Hopefully, this success will serve as a catalyst for more local producers, directors, and film productions to create high-quality collaborative works, like The Fox King," she said, congratulating the entire production team in a Facebook post. Teo said that the film, directed by Malaysian filmmaker Woo Ming Jin and starring renowned Indonesian actress Dian Sastrowardoyo, also received support from the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS) through the 2023 Creative Content Fund, which allocated RM1 million, and the 2025 International Participation and Promotion Fund of RM50,000. The movie tells a story of brotherhood, loss, and the search for love, all portrayed with a distinctive cinematic style from Southeast Asia.
