In a recent WIRED interview, Johnson said he does not believe he will die. This statement is not based on belief alone but on scientific projects he is funding and leading. His work combines artificial intelligence, biology, and neuroscience to develop a new understanding of life and consciousness.Johnson believes that human identity can move beyond biology. He is developing Bryan AI, a digital version of himself. This system is being trained using thousands of hours of his recorded conversations, writings, interviews, and thoughts.According to Johnson, Bryan AI will:This project reflects Johnson's idea that a person's consciousness can live beyond the body. He sees Bryan AI as a second version of himself, stored digitally and able to evolve independently.Johnson's personal health project, known as Project Blueprint, costs around $2 million per year. It focuses on reversing biological aging and is supported by a large medical team.Key features of his lifestyle include:One notable act under this program included a plasma transfusion from his teenage son. The goal was to refresh his body using younger blood. Critics raised concerns, but Johnson viewed it as an experiment. According to his data, his biological age has decreased by more than five years.Johnson's view of AI is not as a tool but as a pathway to extending human life. Bryan AI represents more than a program—it is a reflection of his own mind. His goal is to upload memory, personality, and thought into a digital system. This approach connects with a larger scientific field called mind uploading , where technology is used to preserve or replicate consciousness.Though many experts believe a digital copy cannot truly replace a human mind, Johnson disagrees. He sees brain functions as patterns that can be copied, understood, and replicated.Johnson also leads Kernel, a neurotech company that is working on non-invasive brain mapping.Kernel's helmets are designed to:To Johnson, biology is only the beginning. He refers to it as version 1.0, while digital life is version 2.0. This belief guides his work across all projects. His long-term goal is not just to live longer but to create a new form of existence where consciousness continues through data and machines.Johnson's view redefines mortality. He sees death not as unavoidable but as a technical challenge. His work aims to make continued existence the most important asset. He believes that if consciousness can be preserved or recreated, then death becomes a problem that can be solved, not just accepted.Bryan AI is a digital replica of Bryan Johnson's consciousness, built using AI trained on his data, aimed at preserving his identity beyond his biological body.Project Blueprint is Bryan Johnson's $2 million-per-year program to reverse biological aging through strict routines, advanced medical scans, and expert health monitoring.

The quake is tied for the sixth-largest on record, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. It is the most powerful since the 2011 earthquake off Japan's east coast, which triggered the Fukushima tsunami and nuclear disaster.1. Valdivia, Chile, 1960, magnitude 9.52. Alaska, United States, 1964, magnitude 9.23. Sumatra, Indonesia, 2004, magnitude 9.14. Tohoku, Japan, 2011, magnitude 9.15. Kamchatka, Russia, 1952, magnitude 9.0Japan Earthquake 2011, which had a magnitude of 9.1, was about 2.8 times stronger than Wednesday's. It created a tsunami 50 feet tall that rushed inland for miles with the speed of a locomotive, swallowing everything in its path and flooding more than 200 miles of shoreline. More than 19,000 people were earthquake and tsunami damaged the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant's reactors, leading to one of worst nuclear calamities in history and forcing the evacuation of tens of thousands of people from town and farming villages around the plant. Some still have not as strong was the temblor that struck near the northern Indonesian island of Sumatra in 2004. It triggered the deadliest tsunami in recorded history, with waves as tall as 160 feet slamming into the coasts of more than a dozen countries. About 230,000 people were killed, over half of them in the Indonesian province of each whole-number increase in magnitude, the seismic energy released by a quake increases by about 31.6 times, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. This means that a magnitude 8.8 earthquake produces about 31.6 times more energy than a magnitude 7.8 strongest earthquake ever recorded, according to the U.S. Geological Survey, was the magnitude 9.5 quake off the coast of Chile in 1960. It killed 1,655 people and displaced 2 million U.S. Geological Survey estimated that Wednesday's quake would result in tens of billions of dollars of economic damage for Russia, although there were no immediate reports of widespread destruction."Extensive damage is probable and the disaster is likely widespread," the agency said, adding, "Past events with this alert level have required a national or international level response."A1. NISAR Satellite launched: NASA-ISRO $1.5 billion powerful Earth-monitoring satellite takes off from Sriharikota

Live Events (You can now subscribe to our (You can now subscribe to our Economic Times WhatsApp channel Marking a major milestone in Indo-US space collaboration, the Indian Space Research Organisation ( ISRO ) and NASA on Wednesday launched their most advanced Earth observation radar satellite from Sriharikota. Equipped to detect even the slightest changes in the planet's land and ice surfaces, the satellite will play a crucial role in forecasting both natural disasters and human-induced first-ever hardware collaboration between NASA and ISRO on an Earth-observing mission, NISAR will carry the most advanced radar system ever launched as part of a NASA or ISRO mission. The satellite also is carrying a price tag of $1.5 billion, making it the most expensive Earth observation mission ever for NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar, NISAR will help scientists better understand processes involved in natural hazards and catastrophic events, such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and landslides. In addition, it will support monitoring of infrastructure, such as dams, bridges, and roadways. What's more, the satellite's cloud-penetrating ability will help urgent-response communities during weather disasters such as hurricanes, storm surges, and floods. And NISAR will provide key global Earth observations, such as changes in ice sheets, glaciers, and sea ice, as well as improve understanding of how deforestation, permafrost loss, and fires affect the carbon the length of a pickup truck, the satellite's main body contains engineering systems and a first-of-its-kind dual-radar payload — an L-band system with a 10-inch (25-centimeter) wavelength and an S-band system with a 4-inch (10-centimeter) system's signal is sensitive to different sizes of features on Earth's surface, and each specializes in measuring different attributes, such as moisture content, surface roughness, and motion. These characteristics are important for studying a variety of natural surface conditions, such as the amount of soil moisture available for vegetation to thrive or if land has subsided over operating together, the satellite's two radars will collect data synchronized in time and location, extending the sensitivity of the measurements to objects on the surface in a broad range of sizes. For example, S-band data will allow more accurate characterization of shorter plants, such as bushes and shrubs, while L-band data will sense taller vegetation, like describes NISAR as the most advanced radar system it has ever radar signals pass through clouds, they are ideal for continual monitoring of the in Earth's surface could provide early warning of impending natural disasters like volcanic eruptions and landslides. Measurements of ice sheets will reveal which areas are melting and which are growing through accumulated data could also reveal flooded areas that would otherwise be hidden by bad weather, providing help to rescue teams."NISAR is a model for the next generation of Earth-observation capabilities," Karen St. Germain, director of NASA's Earth science division, said Monday during a news will be lifted to orbit on an ISRO rocket known as a Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle. The orbit will pass close to the North and South Poles at about 464 miles above Earth's first 90 days will be devoted to deploying the spacecraft, including extending a 39-foot-wide gold-mesh antenna reflector, which looks a bit like a giant beach primary mission is scheduled to last three years. If the spacecraft is still operational at that point, it will be carrying enough propellant to continue for another couple of main part of the spacecraft is 18 feet long and weighs more than 5,000 pounds. Two 18-foot-long solar arrays will generate satellite includes two radar systems. One, built by NASA, will transmit microwaves with a wavelength of 25 feet. The other, built by ISRO, transmits 10-foot-long microwaves. The two wavelengths will provide details at different size scales. For the study of vegetation, the shorter wavelengths will provide more detail about bushes and shrubs, while the longer wavelengths will provide a clearer picture of taller plants like on the spacecraft will generate microwave pulses that will bounce off the gold-mesh reflector and travel down to Earth, bounce off the surface and return to the radar signals along the orbit will be combined to simulate a larger reflector. Bouncing radar signals from multiple angles allows the creation of 3D views.
