Kajol is all set to be back on the big screen with her upcoming film Maa. During the trailer launch of the event, Kajol was seen channeling a regal warrior look, perfectly complementing her character in the film. The actress was seen donning a stunning ensemble by Torani Official. She chose to wear a classic black saree with a bejeweled, armor-inspired corset on top.
The corset was highly embellished with intricate gold embroidery all over it. The beads and sequins were stitched together, giving an armor-like aesthetic to her entire look. The corset featured delicate fringe details on the shoulders, adding a regal touch to the outfit. Kajol's timeless all-black saree appeared to be flowing smoothly, adding contrast to the heavily embellished corset on top.
To accessorise this warrior-like regal look, Kajol chose to wear thick gold-toned bangles on her hand, perfectly matching the grandeur of her whole look. The post quickly gained attention, with several users commenting on her weight gain. In her reply, Bipasha made it clear that the memes and trolls had no impact on her sense of self. 'Thank you for your clear words... Hope the human race does not remain so shallow and so low forever... and they encourage and applaud women for the million roles they play each day,' she wrote in the comment section of the post. 'I am a super confident woman with a very evolved loving partner and family. Memes and trolls do not define me ever... nor did they make me who I am. But these are deeply disturbing reflections of the society towards women,' she emphasised. The actress added that such body-shaming behaviour could deeply affect others. 'Another woman in my place could be deeply affected and scarred with the viciousness,' she noted, shedding light on the often unspoken pressures women face, especially after childbirth. Bipasha's words were also backed by former Miss India and beauty influencer, Shweta Vijay Nair, who took to Instagram to address the unrealistic standards placed on women, particularly mothers. Bipasha's response to Nair's reel resonated with many women, especially those who feel the weight of societal expectations. 'Anyways if we have more strong voices and at least women understanding and applauding women for who they are, then women will rise higher and higher :) We are unstoppable ladies,' Bipasha added in her comments. Bipasha's husband, actor Karan Singh Grover, also posted a message of support on Instagram. 'We should be putting all the women we know and love on a pedestal and praying to them. IICT, University of York sign MoU to foster talent in creative technologies
Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], June 14 (ANI): The Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT) formalised a partnership with the University of York, United Kingdom, through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Mumbai on Saturday. This partnership aims to open new frontiers across future-ready disciplines, including Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics and Extended Reality (AVGC-XR), filmmaking, and design, per the press note shared by IICT. The collaboration involves CoStar Live Lab, a research lab led by the University of York. The partnership will focus on dual-degree pathways, joint curriculum development, startup incubation, and immersive learning experiences designed to nurture India's next generation of creative technologists and storytellers, stated the press note. The agreement, signed by Dr. Vishwas Deoskar, CEO of IICT, and Professor Charlie Jeffery, Vice-Chancellor and President of the University of York, spans a five-year term and aims to significantly enhance the academic and professional scope for Indian learners. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Vishwas Deoskar, CEO of IICT, said, 'This MoU represents not just an academic partnership but a shared vision for the future of creative education. We are thrilled to collaborate with an institution of York's global repute. Together, we aim to empower Indian students with international exposure and transformative opportunities in creative technologies,' as quoted in a press note. 'The Boys' star Erin Moriarty, in a post on Instagram on Friday, shared her health update, where she opened up about the diagnosis. 'Autoimmune disease manifests differently in everybody/every body,' the Catching Dust actor wrote in the Instagram post.'Your experience will be different from mine. My experience will be different from yours. Perhaps greatly, perhaps minutely,' she said. 'One thing I can say: if I hadn't chalked it all up to stress and fatigue, I would've caught this sooner. A month ago, I was diagnosed with Graves' disease,' the actor further to the American Thyroid Association, 'Graves' disease is an autoimmune disease that leads to a generalized overactivity of the entire thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism). It is the most common cause of hyperthyroidism in the United States. The disease was named after Robert Graves, an Irish physician, who described this form of hyperthyroidism about 150 years ago. It is 7-8 times more common in women than the Instagram post, Moriarty went on to claim that 'within 24 hours' of starting treatment, she felt 'the light coming back on' and has only been getting better. 'It's been increasing in strength ever since,' she added.'If yours is dimming, even slightly, go get checked. Don't 'suck it up' and transcend suffering; you deserve to be comfy. Shit's hard enough as is,' Moriarty actor has been a part of all five seasons of 'The Boys' as Annie January, aka Starlight, a light-powered superheroine and a member of Billy Butcher's titular corruption-fighting supergroup.
