Prince Harry & Prince William's Tense Relationship Could Shift if This Royal Power Player Intervenes

Yahoo3 days ago
The royal feud has been ongoing for five years, and it seems that everyone at the palace is exhausted by the topic. It's likely why Prince Harry and King Charles III's communications teams have been spotted... well, communicating. Still, there's one more person in the equation who has budged: Prince William.
While Harry and his father have always found a way to connect despite the enormous rift, the Prince of Wales shut the door on his younger brother. But there might be some hope on the horizon. Royal expert Kristen Meinzer broke it down for Us Weekly on how the brothers might finally be united.

Kate Middleton & Prince William's Son George's Reported 'Specific Dietary Item' Made Them Pause Their Yacht Trip
'I think that Harry's relationship with his brother is a different beast than his relationship with his father,' she explained. 'But perhaps if Charles warms more to Harry, William will feel compelled to follow his lead.'
Harry has been completely transparent in recent months about his openness to squashing the royal beef for good. 'There's no point in continuing to fight anymore,' the Duke of Sussex told the BBC in May, 'I don't know how much longer my father has.' The strategy from his camp is to 'deconflict' the issues by sharing his and Meghan Markle's calendar with the palace. A Daily Mail source explained that '…if the Royal Family have full sight of his movements, they can at least plan accordingly. It's a significant gesture.'
But an Us Weekly royal insider thinks King Charles will have a hard time convincing his eldest son to welcome Harry back into the palace fold. 'William is done with Harry. When he becomes King, everybody thinks the divide will become even wider,' they claimed. But Meinzer believes that Harry and Charles are at least on the right track.
'I think any communication is good,' she added. 'It shows that things have not completely broken down between father and son, and that Harry, in particular, wants to mend fences.'
From a leadership perspective, William should strive to reconcile with his brother. It doesn't mean they have to be best friends, but they need to find a way to be in the same room together. It would also end the onslaught of headlines that don't make anyone at the palace look good. With Charles' health on the line, it's time for the family fight to come to a conclusion.Best of SheKnows

Meghan Markle's 'Special' 44th Birthday Marked By 'Standout Dining Experience' And A-Lists Snub

Meghan Markle's 44th birthday paled in comparison to the love she once received from the Royal Family and her celebrity pals. The Duchess of Sussex marked her big day with a low-key celebration surrounded by her family and friends. Although she credited her husband, Prince Harry, for making the event "special," it must have stung not to receive any recognition from her famous pals. Meghan Markle's birthdays previously received love from her in-laws, Prince William and Kate Middleton, even after stepping down from her role as a senior working royal. However, her relationship with the royals has since turned bitter, and the same appears to be happening to her celebrity acquaintances. Meghan Markle Enjoys Low-Key Celebration With Friends & Family Meghan turned 44 on August 4 but recently revealed how she celebrated the event with her loved ones. She dropped a picture from her birthday dinner on Instagram, capturing her blowing candles on a beautiful cake decorated with yellow flowers. "Blowing out the candles on a beautiful 24 hours, and thanking my husband, friends, and family for making it so special. To those of you I don't know, but who send love every day, thank you so much. Please know I feel it and appreciate it," Meghan gushed in the post's captioned. She revealed her birthday dinner took place at the popular Funke restaurant in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, crediting the establishment's chef and team for blessing her with one of the top five meals of her life. "Extraordinary. Thank you for a standout dining experience," Meghan concluded her post. The Former Actress Was Reportedly Snubbed By Her A-list Friends Although Meghan enjoyed a private dinner with her husband and loved ones, it appears that only those in her innermost circle cared to mark her big day. RadarOnline shared that her once-close celebrity pals like Beyoncé and Tyler Perry failed to acknowledge the Duchess of Sussex's birthday. Besides getting snubbed by her A-list pals, Meghan also received zero congratulations from the Royal Family. Prince William and Kate used to mark her birthday even after Meghan and Harry stepped down from their roles in 2020. The outlet noted King Charles and Queen Camilla also celebrated Meghan's birthdays. However, the congratulations stopped coming after Harry and Meghan dropped scathing allegations against the Royal Family in the tell-all Netflix docuseries in 2022. Additionally, the Duke of Sussex's bombshell memoir "Spare" further escalated the rift between them. Critics Bash The Duchess Of Sussex For Getting Snubbed The lack of recognition on Meghan's birthday sparked a wave of criticism as many believed celebrities rightfully snubbed her. "Ha! Hollywood A-Listers could NOT Care Less about Meghan Markle's Birthday--NOT a Single A-Lister contacted her," someone wrote on X. Another echoed similar sentiments, claiming: "C-cksucker Megan was never friends w/them to begin with, they knew Megan is using them and btw she is 48 yrs old." A third agreed that Meghan never cut it with the A-list crowd, noting: "She was never anything special, people are starting to see it now. She's getting the bad karma that she put out there." The criticism continued with an X user theorizing that everyone wanted nothing to do with the former actress. "Those 'supporters' of years past have probably realised what many people knew all along, Meggy's a mess, she's an ongoing mess, she likes to make a mess," the individual declared. Prince Harry & His Wife Face Backlash For Not Supporting Tyler Perry Meghan's birthday snub comes weeks after she and Harry faced backlash for staying silent amid Perry's sexual assault lawsuit. The Blast covered the story, reporting the famous couple was trashed by fans and royal commentators, including Hilary Fordwich. Fordwich slammed Harry and Meghan's silence as "a clear demonstration of a total lack of moral courage," with sources echoing similar sentiments about their lack of support. An insider explained the couple was keeping quiet to avoid getting dragged into the lawsuit, adding: "But many think it's hypocritical, since Tyler Perry has stuck up for them so many times, and it's bad that the Sussexes don't say anything to support him now." Meghan Markle Labeled' Duchess Difficult' For Allegedly Mistreating Staff The Blast recently reported that Meghan's past bullying allegations had resurfaced over her attitude towards staff. Royal reporter Valentine Low first dropped the scathing claims in 2021, alleging: "There had been one or two stories which suggested there were difficult relations between Meghan and her staff. We'd seen them, and the phrase 'Duchess Difficult' had been used." Low claimed he knew Meghan was "angry" about the bullying allegations; however, there appeared to be some truth behind these claims. He shared that those who suffered under Meghan's employment were emotionally distressed till date because they feared her "infinite" capacity for revenge. THE BATMAN: PART II Production Start Date Confirmed For Robert Pattinson's Dark Knight Return — GeekTyrant

The Batman: Part II has locked in its production start date, and the wait for the next chapter of Matt Reeves' brooding Bat-saga is finally moving forward. Ever since The Batman hit theaters back in 2022 with Robert Pattinson donning the cape and cowl, fans have been waiting to dive back into Reeves' gritty, noir take on Gotham City. The film cleaned up at the global box office, raking in $772.3 million and setting the stage for Reeves' Batman Epic Crime Saga , which expanded with this year's The Penguin starring Colin Farrell. Now we've got a solid update on when cameras will start rolling. According to a listing on via ComicBookMovie, The Batman: Part II is set to begin filming on January 1, 2026, at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in London. The listing reveals that 'pre-production is ramping up in London,' and adds: 'Production leads are organizing departments and hiring for production design, art direction, stunt coordination, costume, makeup, grip, lighting, camera, VFX, and post-production planning. 'Leavesden offers access to high-end soundstages and set-building facilities—ideal for Gotham's gritty transformation and sweeping practical environments.' Plot details are still tightly sealed, but there is a glimpse into what the sequel will explore. According to the listing: 'The sequel explores Gotham's slow recovery from the devastating flood caused by the Riddler in the previous film, tackling themes of societal division, power dynamics, and moral ambiguity. 'Reeves has described Batman's new journey as operating in a more complex and 'greyer' world — raising the stakes for character-driven tension and visual storytelling.' The script, written by Reeves and Mattson Tomlin, was just recently completed. So while we're still in the dark on specific story beats, it's clear this next chapter will dive deeper into the psychological and political turmoil brewing in Gotham. Of course, Pattinson will return as the Dark Knight. The returning cast also includes Farrell, Andy Serkis as Alfred, and Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon. The site also notes that Barry Keoghan is 'expected' to return as the Joker, though Warner Bros. hasn't officially confirmed that just yet. The Batman: Part II is set to hit theaters on October 1, 2027.
