Claret So (Primary Two), Pooi To Primary School
If I were an author, I would write a book that combines mystery and humour.
I would include pop-up pictures to enhance the fun atmosphere. I would turn it into a diary entry to entertain myself and my readers. Here's a sneak peek at my story.
'There was a girl named Jasmine. She was 12 years old. She had a pet husky named Jasa with big blue and green eyes, cloudlike fur and long eyelashes. She had an adorable howl.'
That is all I'm going to give you. You will have to wait for the book to be released.

Ashley Wan Yu-ching (aged 9), Chan's Creative School
I am a supporter of the Aston Villa football club.
In May, I went to the Hong Kong Soccer Sevens with my family to support the Villa youth team. The weather was very hot, but I was happy to support the team in person.
Even though they didn't win the trophy this time, I was so excited to get photos with all the players.

Being part of the school orchestra has been an enjoyable and inspiring experience.
I had the opportunity to visit other schools, play beautiful music and meet new people. It even gave me a chance to tell my mum that I wasn't so bad at the violin after all.
The orchestra has motivated me to join a professional orchestra in the future.
I've decided that I want to be a member of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.
I hope you can also participate in activities that you enjoy, such as choir, baking, the student council and the school newspaper.

Chinese university graduates take funny class-day photos to reflect self-loathing
University students in China are getting creative with their graduation photoshoots by referencing internet memes and pop culture to express their free-spirited attitude to life. The hashtag 'do not be so serious in graduation photos' has trended online as graduation time approaches. It attracted 8 million views on a social media platform. Some add humour to their photos, copying famous scenes from hit Chinese television dramas of their childhood, such as Empresses in the Palace and My Own Swordsman. Photo: Instagram/@radii_media Others copy viral photos and internet memes, such as the famous fist pump photo of US President Donald Trump after he was the subject of an assassination attempt last year. Some mock their unsatisfactory academic performance by taking photos of themselves throwing their diplomas into a bin. The photos have been well received, with many people saying they display a 'calm madness'. Others said the photos matched their bittersweet relationship with school. The sense of impending doom on completion of their studies sees some students come up with imaginative ways of encapsulating their feelings. Chief Executive John Lee said the government will work hard to arrange for local pianist Aristo Sham to perform in Hong Kong. The intention was made clear after the Hong Kong-born pianist won the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, a top classical music contest held every four years in the United States. Speaking ahead of the weekly Executive Council meeting on Tuesday, Lee said Sham's excellent achievement has made every Hongkonger proud. 'If Aristo will find time to make a few performances in Hong Kong, it will really get us even more excited,' he said. 'We will work hard to see whether we can make it happen.' Lee said Hong Kong artists are doing well in different areas and that the Hong Kong Arts Development Council will monitor their potential to offer assistance. The 29-year-old Sham is the first local pianist to win the classical music contest, receiving US$100,000 in prize money.
