Hong Kong star Eason Chan's daughter Constance is following in his footsteps and becoming a singer.
Warner Music Hong Kong announced in a press statement on June 23 that Constance Chan has officially joined the music company and will be releasing her first English-language song, Doll .
The 20-year-old changed her Instagram account setting from 'private' to 'public' and posted a short video of herself in the recording studio on June 23.
She wrote that Doll will be out at midnight on June 26 on all platforms.
Her father commented on her Instagram post, saying he was very happy and proud of her, adding: 'Have fun, please.'
The 50-year-old singer is married to former actress Hilary Tsui, 51. He has just completed the Haikou leg of his Fear And Dreams concert tour in China.
According to Hong Kong magazine Ming Pao Weekly , Eason Chan was initially not in favour of his daughter joining show business, but her interest in singing eventually changed his mind.
Apart from being a member of the school choir when she was younger, Constance Chan has also performed on her father's songs.
She sang the chord for the track The Code (2023) and was credited in the music video under 'Backing vocal: Eason Chan/Bao'. Bao Bao is Constance Chan's pet name. Tsui shared a screenshot of the music video on her Instagram Stories and circled the word 'Bao'.

'He's an honest, genuine and brave person who does everything with a sincere heart. Maybe this is a form of repayment for all the good he has done,' the 31-year-old actress told mStar, The Star 's Malay-language news portal. Bella, whose full name is Dayang Ara Nabellah Awang Astillah, also said she won't be commenting further on her connection with Syed Saddiq. 'I'm handing all my future plans to Allah SWT. Meanwhile, Syed Saddiq told reporters that he has no plans to 'move to the next phase' with Bella. The former Youth and Sports Minister said his current priority is to spend time with his family, adding: 'I just want to bring my mum, dad and family members out for a meal.' When asked if Bella would be joining for the meal, Syed Saddiq simply smiled and declined to comment. For the record, Bella and Syed Saddiq sparked romance rumours earlier this year after appearing together in a Hari Raya Aidilfitri campaign for a local fashion label. He was also photographed accompanying Bella at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang in March as she prepared to perform Umrah in the Holy Land. Bella was previously married to Singaporean artiste Aliff Aziz, with whom she shares two kids. The former couple first divorced in 2019 after Aliff, 34, was hit with cheating allegations but reconciled in 2020. They divorced for the second time on June 13 last year.

Krash Kozz Or 4U2C? Which Group Made The First Malaysian Rap Album?

It was the golden age for the genre as many local groups began incorporating rap into their music. However, the history is a little spotty as more than one group have claimed that they were the ones who produced the very first Malay-language rap album in Malaysia. Some of you may remember the group 4U2C and their hits such as Fiona and Hip Hop Si Jantung Hati . They're comprised of six members – TV host and radio presenter Dato' Mizal Zaini (AC Mizal), Aren, Yanz, Rinz, Lanz, and Charlie. In a media conference yesterday to announce their upcoming concert, 4U2C claimed to be the first group in Malaysia to record a rap album. 'To tell the truth, we happen to be the first group that made a rap album,' AC Mizal told the media. With the theme Bringin' Back Da 90s Flava, 4U2C is set to perform at the Idea Live Arena in Petaling Jaya on 15 September, 2025. Were they really the first to make a Malaysian rap album though? Research indicates that another group may have been the first hip hop ensemble to produce a local rap album. A music journalist and critic, with a focus on Malaysian hip hop, wrote in his The article mentioned that Krash Kozz was not known to many until 1989, when they released a mixtape titled Megamix (also called Pump It Up ) which became a hit in the clubbing scene at the time, selling more than 10,000 copies.
