Due to this profession, Harsh Gujral jokingly remarked that Janvee must be practising 'kaala jaadu.' This accusation offended her, so she distanced herself from the other contenders. When her fellow contestants noted a shift in behaviour and enquired about it, Janvee described that Harsh's statement had a tremendous impact on her. As a result, she was labelled as a traitor on the show, despite not being one.
On the personal front, Janvee Gaurr is a mother to a son named Abhishek Gaur. He is an actor and musician by profession.
Coming back to The Traitors, the makers will drop new episodes every Thursday at 8 PM. Filmed at the luxurious and majestic Hotel Suryagarh in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer, The Traitors boasts a star-studded lineup including Anshula Kapoor, Harsh Gujral, Jannat Zubair, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elnaaz Norouzi, Janvee Gaurr, Jasmine Bhasin, Maheep Kapoor, Mukesh Chhabra, Nikita Luther, Apoorva Mukhija (The Rebel Kid), Purav Jha, Uorfi Javed, Sudhanshu Pandey, Raftaar and Sufi Motiwala.
The reality TV show follows a unique format where players are divided into two opposing factions: the innocents and the 'Traitors' (also referred to as Mafias). By day, players work together to build a jaw-dropping prize pot worth Rs 1 crore through intense tasks. But by night, the traitors attempt to sabotage and eliminate their fellow players while keeping their identities hidden during high-tension roundtable eliminations.
At the end of the season, the innocents will have to unmask all the traitors to win the Rs 1 crore prize money. But if even one traitor survives, he or she will walk away with the entire prize money. Till now, four players have been eliminated from the show – Karan Kundrra, Sahil Salathia, Lakshmi Manchu, and Raj Kundra, who was one of the traitors.
