While everyone else in the felony investigation is keeping a low profile, Marcus Jordan appears to be doing just the opposite. The son of NBA icon Michael Jordan hit the headlines once again over the weekend.
Well, it's not for any development in the courtroom, but for kissing mysterious women. That escalated pretty fast! However, if that wasn't enough to create a buzz, he is also clubbing in Miami while awaiting his next court appearance for serious drug charges.
His recent public outings were complete PDA, beach selfies, and clubbing. Meanwhile, these are giving fans and critics both something to raise an eyebrow about. Is Marcus spiraling out of control, or simply living his life a little too much on the drug?
Marcus Jordan's public PDA made fans question his behavior
To put the backlash into perspective, you have to go back to February 4, 2025.
But before that, let's have a look at what the public had to say about his canoodling pictures, as reported by TMZ.
'Gotta be the drugs Bro.' One user commented.
'He in his Coke era doing anything?' another user said.
'What are they eating each other's faces?' another said.
'Curious, nu judgment.....does Marcus "do" anything that's self-preservation related?' another comment reads.
'He loves them snow bunnies and wonder why he is always cracked out,' another said.

'That boy is living exactly how a billionaire son should,' another comment says.
Jordan's arrest in Orange County, Florida, happened when his Lamborghini became stranded on train tracks. Oh boy! It was a scene that looked like it was out of a movie, without the glitz. He was charged with DUI, resisting arrest without force, and felony possession of ketamine, which police first thought was cocaine. The tests later revealed it was ketamine, a Schedule III controlled substance.
Flash-forward to June, that's where his attorneys petitioned to postpone the trial, initially scheduled for June 23. The court granted the request, pushing proceedings to September 2025 to enable time for plea negotiations. Meanwhile, Jordan reported to fans on Instagram during May that he was "40 days sober and counting." That makes his flashy Miami weekend even more confusing.
From courtroom to club, and now Miami PDA tour
Then arrived the TMZ pics: Marcus kissing model Ashley Stevenson on the beach.
Her fans immediately pointed out how much she resembled his former flame, Larsa Pippen. This just added fuel to the drama. Recall that Marcus and Ashley were seen together in France last year but denied any romance, until now.
And that wasn't the only beachside encounter. Just the day before that, Marcus was spotted with another unidentified female, once again in full PDA mode. Two days, two females, and one very confused fanbase.
Whereas tabloids were having the time of their lives with the news, fans weren't laughing. Most labeled his actions "reckless," given his continued legal battle and public declarations of sobriety. Others were quick to connect the actions with his very public breakup with Larsa Pippen in 2024, which took an apparent hard emotional toll.
Even Larsa herself has spoken about the relationship being a "rollercoaster," stating her children urged her to end it.
Meanwhile, Real Housewives star Marysol Patton recently said Marcus appeared to be "headed down a bad path" after the breakup.
There's no denying Marcus is struggling to balance public image with personal identity. As the son of basketball royalty, scrutiny follows him everywhere. His arrest footage even captured him saying, 'I'm Marcus Jordan. I'm Michael Jordan's son. I'm not doing anything wrong.'

‘Biggest-Ever' Cocaine Haul: Pakistan Links Found In 15,000-Crore Seizure

New Delhi: The probe into the biggest-ever cocaine bust by Delhi Police last year has led the investigators to establish the origin of the traffickers of the contraband worth Rs 15,000 crore to Pakistan. The breakthrough came during the analysis of email IDs of a portal being used by the traffickers and a reply was subsequently received from Google. The chargesheet filed by the special cell in the case reveals that the kingpins of the cartel, Tarandeep Singh Rana aka Sandeep Dhunay and his partner Virender Baisoya, had got registered a firm called Pharma Solution Services to camouflage themselves and their drug operations. Police found that the firm's website and its official email ID were taken down soon after the racket was busted last Oct. Intrigued, the cops dug deeper and traced an alternate email ID, saadtricky@ and the recovery number +4474657978** used for creating the email ID. Police wrote to Google seeking its details. Google replied that the email ID was created in Pakistan on April 2, 2024. The login activity showed a pattern of access from various locations in Pakistan. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Dementia and Memory Issues Have Been Linked To a Common Habit. There were logins from Sialkot on April 2-3 and May 21. The website also showed logins from Malaysia and police have sent a judicial communication seeking details. Rana and Baisoya are currently absconding and believed to be shuttling between Malaysia and the UK. They fled the country in 2024 after a case was registered against them in Pune. Once abroad, they contacted their associate named Kishan Munde and instructed him to create a firm. "Munde arranged for the registration of Pharma Solution Services in the name of Dhyneshwar Khillare, a hotel worker known to him. Khillare handed over the firm's bank account ATM, signed cheques and bank-linked mobile number to one of Rana's associates. Two more firms, RM Biochem and Life Saver Pharma, were subsequently created in the names of Altaf Ramzan Vilas and Rehman Sameer Sheikh," said a source. After the firms were created, Rana instructed his associate Jackson to start hiring employees to oversee operations and establish the company as an entity dealing in raw chemicals and precursors. Probe revealed that Rana had three aliases—Sandeep Dhunay, John Smith and Bhai Ram. He used the alias of Smith to hire employees for the firms as a director. Once the firms were up and running, the accused started making deals with various other pharma companies and transporting the cocaine and mephedrone disguised as chemicals. A few of the firms the cartel entered an agreement with actually called their bluff and detected their clever modus operandi. For example, the accused struck a deal with a Gujarat-based firm to manufacture a chemical code named GR-25, supposedly phenylephrine hydrochloride. "However, the director of this firm was cautious and had the coded chemicals tested. The test revealed that GR-25 was actually 4-methylpropiophenone. The final product prepared from the raw materials provided by Life Saver Pharma would have been mephedrone, a substance banned under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Upon discovering this, the firm owner cancelled the agreement with the cartel company," said a senior officer. The racket was busted after a central intelligence agency alerted Delhi Police's special cell last Aug. After two months of investigation, police conducted raids and recovered 1,289 kg cocaine. Tushar Goyal, allegedly a key member who had links with a political party, was arrested along with 13 others. Look-out circulars have been issued against Baisoya and Rana.

Tom Cruise is finally getting an Oscar - as will Dolly Parton, Debbie Allen and Wynn Thomas

Twenty-five years after Tom Cruise received his first Oscar nomination, he's finally getting a trophy. It's not for his death-defying stunts, either. At least, not exclusively. Cruise, choreographer Debbie Allen and "Do The Right Thing" production designer Wynn Thomas have all been selected to receive honorary Oscar statuettes at the annual Governors Awards, the film academy said Tuesday. Dolly Parton will also be recognized with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award for her decades-long charitable work in literacy and education. "This year's Governors Awards will celebrate four legendary individuals whose extraordinary careers and commitment to our filmmaking community continue to leave a lasting impact," Academy President Janet Yang said in a statement. Cruise, 62, has been nominated four times, twice for best actor in "Born on the Fourth of July" and "Jerry Maguire," once for supporting actor in "Magnolia" and once for best picture with "Top Gun: Maverick." He's also championed theatrical moviegoing and big-scale Hollywood production through the coronavirus pandemic. Yang spotlighted Cruise's "incredible commitment to our filmmaking community, to the theatrical experience, and to the stunts community." Live Events Allen, 75, has never been nominated for an Oscar. But the multi-hyphenate entertainer - she also acts and produces - has played an integral role in the Oscars show, having choreographed seven ceremonies over the years. Four of those were nominated for prime-time Emmy awards. A nomination had also eluded Thomas, a leading production designer whose films have often gone on to best picture nominations and even one win, for Ron Howard's "A Beautiful Mind." Thomas is most known for his long-term collaboration with filmmaker Spike Lee, from "She's Gotta Have It" and "Malcolm X" through "Da 5 Bloods." Parton has been nominated twice for best original song, for "9 to 5" and, in 2006, "Travelin' Thru" from the film "Transamerica." But her honor celebrates her humanitarian efforts over the years, through organizations like the Dollywood Foundation and the literary program "Dolly Parton's Imagination Library." Yang said Parton "exemplifies the spirit" of the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award. The awards will be handed out during an untelevised ceremony on Nov. 16 at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Los Angeles. Last year's recipients included the late Quincy Jones, Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, filmmaker Richard Curtis and casting director Juliet Taylor. Recipients of the prizes, which honor lifetime achievement, contributions to the state of motion picture arts and sciences and service to the academy are selected by the film academy's board of governors.
