First ASBU delegation arrives in Baghdad ahead of Arab Summit
The first delegation from the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) arrived in Baghdad on Tuesday ahead of the upcoming Arab Summit, The Media Committee for Baghdad Summit said.
The 15-member delegation includes journalists and media professionals,according to the statement of the committee member Haidar Majid to the Iraqi News Agency-INA.
'The media center dedicated to summit coverage is fully operational, featuring multiple halls, live broadcast studios, and all necessary technical equipment,' Majid said, noting that six studios will be available for use by media outlets.
He added that several Arab and international media organizations have already arrived in Baghdad over the past two days, with more delegations expected in the coming days. Coordination is ongoing with local media.
He also affirmed that The Media Committee for Baghdad Summit has arranged logistics for visiting journalists, including transport from the airport to accommodations and to the media center throughout the summit and associated ministerial meetings
