Oppo Pad SE is exclusively available in China for the moment | Image credit: Oppo Following the announcement of Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro, Oppo introduced another equally interested device, the Pad SE. The new affordable tablet introduced in China this week has solid specs and an incredibly low price.Unfortunately, we don't know whether or not Oppo will bring the Pad SE to international markets. Even if the Oppo Pad SE ends up being available worldwide, we doubt it will be priced so low.The Pad SE is a compact tablet as it comes with an 11-inch LCD display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. It's not the smallest, nor the biggest tablet on the market when it comes to display, which makes it perfect for even more scenarios. Oppo Pad SE is a medium-sized tablet when it comes to display | Image credit: Oppo The specs list above is far from being impressive, but the fact that this tablet is priced below the $150 mark is what makes it really appealing. Oppo announced the Pad SE will be available for purchase in China starting May 23. 6 / 128 GB – 900 yuan ($125 / €110)
8 / 128 GB – 1,100 yuan ($150 / €135)
8 / 256 GB – 1,300 yuan ($180 / €160)
6 / 128 GB Soft Light Edition – 1,000 yuan ($140 / €125)
8 / 256 GB Soft Light Edition – 1,400 yuan ($195 / €175)
If Oppo decides to launch the Pad SE in other markets, the tablet will almost certainly be priced higher. Hopefully, the price difference won't be so high to deter customers from choosing Oppo's tablet and go for other similarly priced slates from the competition (i.e Realme Pad, Samsung Galaxy A9).

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7's main competitor shows its huge display in official image

Vivo X Fold 5 is the first foldable to feature IPX8/IPX9 ratings | Image credit: Vivo The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to arrive sometime in July, but before that happens, at least two top-tier foldables will be launched on the market, Vivo X Fold 5 and Honor Magic foldables are expected to be unveiled in June, so Vivo and Honor should start building hype for their upcoming products. In fact, the former has already started posting images of its upcoming X Fold 5 flagship foldable and revealed a couple of exciting details about product manager, Han Boxiao, has taken to Weibo to publish an image of the X Fold 5, which shows the phone's internal display. The picture Vivo's exec revealed comes alongside some interesting details like the fact that the phone has LTPO 8T panels, which presumably provide users with smoother visuals in various scenarios (i.e. browsing, gaming) thanks to the adaptive refresh rate. Another impressive achievement is the fact that both displays support up to 4,500 nits brightness, as well as high-frequency PWM dimming to help reduce eye strain. In comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 supports 2600 nits peak brightness. Vivo X Fold 5 | Image credit: Vivo It's also worth mentioning that Vivo is using Zeiss Master Color to optimize the X Fold 5's color reproduction. Besides the details about the foldable's panels, Boxiao didn't offer other information, but the image reveals one interesting detail: an extra physical button on the left Vivo has decided to replace the alert slider button on its previous foldables with a new one. Unfortunately, its function remains a mystery, although it's probably safe to assume that this is either a dedicated AI button or one that can be customized. To top it all off, Vivo confirmed last week that the X Fold 5 will be the first foldable that features IPX8/IPX9 ratings, which means it can withstand immersion in up to 3 meters of water. Funny enough, Vivo also claims that its flagship foldable can be opened and closed 1,000 times at a depth of 1 meter underwater. This is such a niche scenario that it's unlikely many will find this truly useful.

Best Galaxy Watch 8 pre-order deals: what to expect

This July is shaping up to be an exciting month for Samsung fans. According to the rumor mill, the tech giant will hold an Unpacked event where it'll announce its latest foldables, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7. Rumors also suggest that Samsung will unveil its new smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, at the same event. So, July will be a great time to upgrade your smartwatch game by pre-ordering one of Samsung's latest and greatest timepieces. The company is famous for its generous pre-order promos, and we'll probably see some incredible offers and bonuses on the Galaxy Watch 8 series, too. But how much can you anticipate saving on a new Galaxy Watch 8 or Galaxy Watch 8 Classic? Well, let's see what Galaxy Watch 8 pre-order deals we can expect below. If you don't feel like waiting for the new Galaxy Watch 8 series, feel free to snag a brand-new Galaxy Watch 7 on Amazon. The retailer is offering a $100 discount on the 40mm model, letting you score one of the best watches on the market for just under $200. Don't miss out! Buy at Amazon Amazon has a generous offer on the 256GB Galaxy Z Flip 6, too. Buyers can now score a hefty $200 discount on this bad boy, snagging one for just under $900. With its sleek design and immense power, this handsome fella still ranks among the best phones on the market. Save while you can! Buy at Amazon If you prefer book-style foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 with 256GB of storage is also getting a massive discount. Amazon is slashing a whopping $420 off the Navy model, while other colors are available at smaller price cuts. Grab yours while the deal lasts! Buy at Amazon Judging by the pre-order offer Samsung had on the Galaxy Watch 7 last year, expect to be able to save up to $250 on the Galaxy Watch 8 with a trade-in. Last year, Samsung also offered its latest smartwatch with a free band, allowing early birds to save up to an additional $69.99. Chances are it may have a similar offer that lets you snag a Galaxy Watch 8 with a free band. That being said, we expect to see a sweet Galaxy Watch 8 pre-order deal on Amazon, too. Last year, the retailer tossed in a free band when pre-ordering the latest Galaxy Watch 7 . In addition, buyers got to enjoy Amazon Music Unlimited free for three months. While there wasn't a Classic model last year, Samsung did release one with the Galaxy Watch 6 series. We believe the company may offer a similar Galaxy Watch 8 Classic pre-order deal to the one it had for the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. If that's the case, you could save up to $250 with an eligible trade-in and even score a free Fabric Band.
