Pamela Anderson impressed Liam Neeson with her baking
The pair worked together for the first time shooting the action comedy - a revival of the franchise which originally starred Leslie Nielsen - and Pamela, 58, admitted she was nervous when they first met but they forged a close friendship and she was soon bringing him baked good to snack on during breaks.
During a SiriusXM Town Hall event in New York City on Wednesday (30.07.25), Pamela said: "[I was] nervous to meet [Liam], of course and you're always nervous the first day on the set ...
"I brought sourdough bread to Liam and cookies and muffins and kept me busy. Kept me outta trouble ... It's a very special [muffin] recipe. It's very good for you. Let's just say that."
Liam, 73, added that Pamela's sourdough was "phenomenal" and the muffins featured "a lot of bran".
During the event, Liam admitted he was charmed by Pamela from the moment they first met. He said: "Well, you know, we had never met before and I remember thinking: 'Wow, she is gorgeous' but she had this wonderful sense of silliness and just humanity about her.
"I don't want to blow her head up, but it was like I just felt an ease with her, you know, and we discovered a silliness with each other, which was terrific, you know?"
The pair bonded on set and their close relationship has sparked rumours they are more than just friends. A recent report suggested they have been spending time together at Pamela's home in Canada after bonding over her love of gardening and baking.
A source told DailyMail.com: 'Pam is very drawn to Liam because he is totally open to her way of thinking and living, and especially her approach to fame, which is impressive.
"She has been telling friends he is smitten and does a lot of sweet things for her, like sending her flowers, and spending time with her sons and dogs.'
"Pam cooks and gardens at home ... it's wholesome and appealing and very un-Hollywood and Liam loves that. He actually gets involved."

Liam Neeson's son approves of Pamela Anderson romance
Liam Neeson's son approves of his relationship with Pamela Anderson. The 73-year-old actor and his 58-year-old Naked Gun co-star star are believed to have started dating after meeting on set, and when they appeared on Watch What Happens Live to promote the film on Sunday, host Andy Cohen - who was a close friend of Liam's late wife Natasha Richardson - admitted he was "stanning" their romance, a viewpoint shared by Daniel Neeson. Cohen told the couple: "The question that I'm not asking the two of you tonight is what's going on between the two of you, but I do just want to say, as a very old friend of (Liam's), all of your friends are very much stanning this relationship, as the kids say." As Liam put his hand on Pamela's shoulder and she reached to squeeze it, Cohen then asked Daniel, who was sitting in the audience: "Right Danny?" Daniel replied: "Yes." On Friday, Pamela shared a series of photos of herself and Liam on Instagram along with the caption: "The Naked Gun is finally in theatres! Bring your friends, family, lovers… whoever… just go and have a laugh… it's good for you! "I'll see you there (white heart and popcorn emojis)" And Daniel, 28, commented with a string of emojis including hands up, fire, and white hearts. Richardson's sister, Joely Richardson, also commented on the post with a string of red heart emojis. Cohen recently admitted he was happy for Neeson over his budding romance with Anderson because he can see similarities between the former Baywatch star and Richardson, who died in a skiing accident in 2009, aged 45. Speaking on his SiriusXM radio show last week, he said: "Natasha was a dear friend of mine and I'm gonna tell you something. I, and all of the friends in this circle, are very much stanning whatever this is. "As I was telling him at the premiere party, I go, 'Liam, she is an independent woman just like Tash was. She loves to cook. She has her own thing going on. She has two boys.'" Cohen insists "this just works" as Anderson has been through a lot with her sex tape scandal and whirlwind marriage to ex-husband Tommy Lee - with whom she has sons Brandon, 29, and 27-year-old Dylan - and managed to reinvent her career. He added: "I mean, this just works, and you know, she is a formidable human being, Pamela Anderson. She really is. What she's been through and how she kind of reclaimed herself and redefined herself." Neeson - who has Micheal, 30, and Daniel with his late wife - previously confessed to being "madly in love" with Pamela as he gushed about working with her. He told People magazine: "With Pamela, first off, I'm madly in love with her. She's just terrific to work with. I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with." Liam Neeson's son approves of his relationship with Pamela Anderson. Sister of Liam Neeson's late wife Natasha Richardson reacts to his ‘budding romance' with Pamela Anderson
Liam Neeson's new love appears to have his former sister-in-law's approval. Pamela Anderson took to Instagram on Friday, August 1, to share a carousel of sweet photos of herself posing with Neeson to promote the release of their new movie together. 'The Naked Gun is finally in theatres!' Anderson, 58, wrote. 'Bring your friends, family, lovers… whoever… just go and have a laugh… It's good for you! I'll see you there.' Natasha Richardson's sister, Joely Richardson, then shared seven red heart emojis in the comments section of Anderson's post. Joely's apparent support for Neeson's rumored romance with Anderson excited many of the former 'Baywatch' star's fans, and several took to the comments section to share their reactions. 'Classy and loving as always,' one person wrote underneath Joely's comment. 'Very sweet of you,' added another, while a third commented, 'Okay, this is everything.' Neeson, 73, married Joely's sister, Natasha Richardson, in 1994 after the pair met and worked together on the Broadway revival of 'Anna Christie' one year earlier. Before striking up a relationship with Richardson, the 'Taken' star had dated Helen Mirren and Barbra Streisand. Neeson and Richardson went on to welcome two sons together: Micheál, now 30, and Daniel, now 28. But tragedy struck in March 2009 when Richardson passed away from a traumatic brain injury she suffered during a skiing accident in Quebec. The beloved 'Parent Trap' actress was 45. Neeson later opened up about his wife's passing and the grief he endured during an interview with '60 Minutes' in 2014. 'Grief hits you. It's like a wave,' he told host Anderson Cooper at the time. 'You just get this profound feeling of instability. You feel like a three-legged table. Just suddenly, the Earth isn't stable anymore.' 'And then it passes and becomes more infrequent, but I still get it sometimes,' the 'Star Wars' actor added. Then, in October 2024, Neeson claimed that he was done dating. 'No, in a word,' he told People last year. 'I'm past all that.' But that appeared to change when the Oscar-nominated actor and Anderson met and began working together on Seth MacFarlane's 'The Naked Gun' reboot. 'With Pamela, first off, I'm madly in love with her,' Neeson, also in October 2024, said. 'She's just terrific to work with.' 'I think I have a friend forever in Liam, and we definitely have a connection that is very sincere, very loving, and he's a good guy,' Anderson told Entertainment Weekly last month. The pair both brought their sons to the NYC premiere of 'The Naked Gun,' and then pretended to make out on live TV during a July 29 appearance on 'Today.' Insiders have since claimed that Neeson and Anderson are dating and 'enjoying each other's company.' 'It's a budding romance in the early stages,' a source told People in July. 'It's sincere, and it's clear they're smitten with each other.' 'It's very sincere how they feel,' another insider told Page Six. 'That is the truth.' 'They're not going to show up on the red carpet and be adorable just to be fake, that's not either of them,' they added. 'This is happening in real time, here and now, so I don't know what things look like moving forward.' The Post has reached out to Neeson and Anderson's reps for comment.
