Nancy Ajram Announces New Album Title and Release Date

Yara Sameh
Lebanese recording artist Nancy Ajram shared Friday new details of her forthcoming album.
Ajram noted in a post on social media that the album is titled "Nancy 11" and will be released on July 17.
"
#Nancy11
is coming ⭐️ 17.07.2025," she wrote on Instagram.
The album was set to arrive earlier than the July 17 planned date, however, the superstar postponed the release of the album due to the ongoing tension in the Middle East.
Ajram delivered the remarks on the sidelines of her participation in the 20th Mawazine Festival in Morocco.
She added that the record is complete and is ready for release but will not arrive anytime soon due to the difficult circumstances the Arab world is currently facing.
"I don't know how, but there has to be a way to reach peace," Ajram noted.
The singer pointed out that she prefers to release the album in a positive and healthy atmosphere to receive the attention it deserves.
"I don't release an album every year, but rather every four or five years, which is why I want it to be released at a time where it receives the recognition that it deserves," she explained.
Ajram continued: "I've postponed it for a few days or a few weeks, depending on the circumstances and how stable the situation will be,".
In September 2024, Ajram revealed on Instagram that she was currently in the studio working on a new album.
"The album journey is officially underway," she wrote.
In the new album, she collaborates with a large number of poets and composers, including Tamer Hussein, and Aziz El-Shafei.
The Lebanese recording artist's highly anticipated album will be her first since 2021's "Nancy 10".

Select 344: Mixed by mishmish

Amman-based producer and singer mishmish delivers this week's Select mix titled كوكتيل مليء بالإحساس لأرق الناس ('A Cocktail Full of Feeling for the Softest Souls'). Jul 15, 2025 This week's Select mix arrives like a quiet letter left at your doorstep. Titled كوكتيل مليء بالإحساس لأرق الناس ('A Cocktail Full of Feeling for the Softest Souls'), the set is curated by Amman-based producer and singer mishmish, whose warm blend of lo-fi electronics, soft vocals, and regional sampling has made her a subtle yet steady voice across the region's independent scene. mishmish's mix is a deeply personal selection of songs, unreleased beats, and demos, crafted less like a DJ set and more like an after-midnight confession. Hovering between nostalgia and experiment, her soundworld feels hand-stitched: stitched with slow-burning synths, voice notes, pop hooks filtered through reverb, and rhythms borrowed from Arab pop and internet-age melancholy. The set opens with 'مشمش وتفاح - سارية السواس', a dreamlike rework built on the unmistakable voice of Syrian singer Saria Al Sawas, flipped and reframed by mishmish and producer Tuffah. From there, the mix drifts between classic Arab heartbreak (Nabil Shuail's 'Sadini Fe Gharamah') and lo-fi UK rap (John Glacier's 'Some Other Thing'), before landing in the distorted introspection of 'Toes Down' by Loukeman. Much like her name - fruitful, small and soft - mishmish's sound is intimate and full of feeling. Each track feels selected with care, with a quiet understanding that music can be both fragile and powerful. SceneNoise · Select 344: Mixed by mishmish

Lotfy Labib Shares Health Update Amid Hospitalization

Yara Sameh Veteran Egyptian actor Lotfy Labib has shared an update about his current health condition after being admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) after suffering a health scare. In a statement on Tuesday, Labib said that despite still being in intensive care, his condition is stable. "I am receiving the necessary medical care and will be discharged next Friday," he added. Labib thanked everyone who checked on him and supported him during the period, adding that he is satisfied with everything that has happened to him recently. He continued: "I have a swollen throat, but thank God, don't worry about me, and his voice has begun to improve." On Sunday, Labib was admitted to the intensive care (ICU) after suffering a health scare. He underwent the medical tests to determine the cause of his illness. Father Boutros Daniel, director of the Catholic Centre for Cinema in Egypt, has shared an update on the actor's health, explaining that he suffered a sudden health issue in the past hours that required his transfer to the hospital, where he is in the ICU and banned from receiving visitors. He added that Labib is attached to his fans, loves them, and appreciates them, and asked the actor's fans to pray for him. "The best thing they can do now is pray for his speedy recovery," Labib noted. Born on August 18, 1947, Labib is an Egyptian stage, television, and film actor. The acclaimed actor has worked profusely, in many supporting but memorable roles, with over 200 film and television credits. Through many of his screen appearances, the veteran actor has performed admirably and has shown himself to be one of the strongest performers of his generation. On March 29, Labib announced his retirement from acting due to his health condition. "In my current health condition, if I get a role, I won't be able to play it because I prefer that my image remains as it was to the fans," he said. He made his final onscreen appearance in the 2024 film ' Ana W Ibn Khalti ' ("Me and My Cousin"). Hanady Mehanna, Bayoumi Fouad, Sayed Ragab, Mimi Gamal, Sara Abdelrahman, Ali Loka, and Enaam Salousa round out the cast. Ahmed Saleh directed from a script by Doaa Abdel Wahab and Amr Abu Zeid. The official logline for the film states, 'Engage in the traditional, age-old rivalry through several comedic situations to prove who's better, only to discover in the end that the real victory is family and that everyone is best loved by those around them.' read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt News "Tensions Escalate: Iran Probes Allegations of Indian Tech Collaboration with Israeli Intelligence" News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks Arts & Culture Hawass Foundation Launches 1st Course to Teach Ancient Egyptian Language Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean
