BEAUTY fans are raving over a viral lash hack that's being hailed as a 'game changer'.

In the now-viral video, Gretta Mikki tried out the simple hack, which involves using tape to lift your natural lashes out of the way while applying falsies underneath.
Others in the room were sceptical at first asking: "is it actually that much easier?"
Greta says it's "so much easier".
The method sees her place a small piece of tape on her eyelid, pulling up her natural lashes so she can see her lash line more clearly.
She explained: 'So the tape is obviously holding up my lashes so that I can see better."
She then applies the bond directly underneath her lashes without worrying about making a mess.
Greta said: "it doesn't matter if you get it on your lid too much because you've got the tape on.'
One by one, she starts pressing the lash clusters in place, working in sections.
Greta said she couldn't believe how easy the method was, explaining that the tape makes it "ridiculously easier" to see what you're doing.
Katie Price moans 'oh my god I'm so ugly' as she shows off BALD eyelids after removing fake lashes and make-up
She finishes up by sealing the lashes into place and blending them into her makeup.
Greta claims it's a "great hack" for make-up lovers.
And beauty fans are obsessed flooding the comments with praise for the tip.
One wrote: 'Omg how have I never done this?'
While another said: 'This is my favourite hack.'
A third gushed: 'Game changer,' and a fourth added: 'I wish someone showed me this sooner.'
The hack has already racked up thousands of views and if you've ever struggled to get your lashes even, sticky, or actually on your eye, this might be the tip that changes your glam routine forever.
No more glue disasters. No more awkward angles. Just tape, place, and go.
Meanwhile, it seems lashes can truly make or break that made-up look whether you're glamming up or going for au naturel.
Head to social media and you'll see a flurry of women with eyelash extensions so big they can barely lift their eyelids, the sort that risk being blown away by the wind on a bad weather day.
For those looking for the perfect budget lash, Leanne Hall tested the best DIY lashes for £10.
For those after a more natural look, a beauty enthusiast has revealed the DIY treatment that naturally stimulated the growth of her eyelashes.
She said using two budget-friendly products nightly thickened her lashes.
Lielle Neury's lash 'tightening' tip
Tightlining if your best friend for a seamless, natural lash look according to Lielle.
Tightlining is an eyeliner technique that involves applying eyeliner to the upper waterline, the area right under your upper lashes, to create the illusion of thicker, fuller lashes.
It's a subtle way to define your eyes and enhance your lash line without a noticeable line of eyeliner. This is also such a must if you want a traceless false lash look as there won't be a 'gap' between your lash line and your tightline.
When applying your false lashes always make sure your glue is tacky before application and also clamp the false lashes together with your natural lashes not only for a seamless blend but also for comfort.
By doing this you won't be irritated whilst wearing your lashes.

Love Island's Dejon Noel-Williams' brother blasts Meg in now-deleted TikTok rant

Family week has not gone down well for one Love Island couple as Dejon Noel-Williams' brother took to social media to share his negative thoughts on Meg's sibling As the Love Island final gets closer by the day, Dejon Noel-Williams' brother Isiah has taken aim at his sibling's partner Meg and her family in a TikTok video that has since been deleted. ‌ In the clip, which recapped the recent meet the family episode, Isiah didn't hold back, saying: "I'm watching last night's episode and my brother has picked the wrong family. Meg's sister reminds me of Miss Trunchbull from Matilda with the way she moves, the way she talks. It's not it. That family, let's be real, it's not about that." ‌ He went on to praise the families of other contestants instead, adding: "But Shakira, Toni and Yas' parents, they're amazing. They're sensational, what a trio. I like Cach's family, they're quite chill like him. You can see he's a good role model for his little brother. I like that family." This comes as Channel 4 breaks silence after Gogglebox couple suddenly dumped from show. ‌ ‌ Isiah's remarks caused a stir online, with many fans accusing him of being unnecessarily cruel. One viewer commented, "There are so many valid things he could have said, and he chose to comment on her looks," while another questioned his support, asking, "Are you even voting for your brother at this point?" The backlash didn't stop there. Isiah also shared his controversial takes on some of the other contestants, stating: "Helena, she loves a young man. She needs to give it a rest, she's a gremlin. But Harry, that man, even after all the stuff he's done, he's a top striker." Meanwhile, Dejon's sister Gene also took to TikTok to respond to criticism following the family visit episode. Some fans suggested her on-screen chat with Dejon seemed too relaxed given some of the issues viewers have had with his behaviour at points during the series, but Gene claimed the reality was very different. ‌ She told fans: "Believe me or don't believe me I don't care, I'm gonna say my piece. Me and my brother had a conversation for 30 minutes and they showed 30 seconds... I grilled him, mum grilled him... They didn't show a single second. I just think it's crazy what they actually choose to put in the show." With just a few days left to go before the Love Island final, tensions have been escalating between Dejon and Meg after he showed interest in Yasmin by picking her out as a potential partner during a challenge. Meg was clearly hurt, and was discussing the situation with Connor when Dejon walked by, snarking: "You're gonna stop speaking when I walk past?" Their relationship has grown increasingly strained since returnee Blu told the boys that Meg and Helena had been labelled "mean girls" by the public. Many fans believe this has prompted a shift in Dejon's behaviour towards the girl.

Sydney Sweeney breaks silence on American Eagle woke backlash with cryptic post

Sydney Sweeney made a rare return to social media following widespread backlash over her American Eagle denim campaign. The 27-year-old actress, who stars in the label's autumn ad rollout with the tagline 'Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans,' found herself at the center of controversy. On Friday, American Eagle defended the Euphoria star, insisting she did nothing wrong after critics labeled the campaign 'Nazi propaganda.' Some interpreted the 'great jeans' slogan as a reference to Sweeney's genetic background—her mixed European ancestry and rural Idaho upbringing. The phrase 'great genes' has historically been linked to celebrating whiteness, thinness, and conventional attractiveness, leading some to call the campaign a tone-deaf marketing misstep, according to a Salon report. On Saturday, Sydney shared a cryptic and rare post on Instagram: a photo of a bouquet of pale pink roses with a white heart sticker attached, leaving fans guessing. In the campaign visuals, the Spokane, Washington-born actress—who is set to portray boxer Christy Martin in an upcoming biopic—models various denim looks. In an accompanying video, Sydney buttons up her jeans and reflects, 'Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality, and even eye color… my genes are blue.' A second advert sees the camera pan down Sydney's chest as she models a plunging denim jumpsuit. She muses: 'My body's composition is determined by my genes...' before exclaiming: 'Hey, eyes up here' as the camera cuts back to her face. The advert has divided fans, however, with one critic calling the clip 'one of the loudest and most obvious racialized dog whistles we've seen and heard in a while.' Taking to social media, many expressed their shock at messaging, which they aligned to Nazi propaganda. Outraged fans penned: 'So Sydney (& American Eagle) somehow expect audiences to not interpret this visual as a euphemism for eugenics and white supremacy?' 'The Sydney Sweeney American Eagle ad campaign is just modern day Nazi propaganda. Like it's wild how blatant it is. Things are weird right now, man.'; The phrase 'great genes' is 'historically used to celebrate whiteness, thinness and attractiveness,' which it said made 'this campaign seem to be a tone-deaf marketing move,' a Salon report on the backlash read 'the most nazi part of the Sydney sweeney add for me was the use of the word offspring'; ''Jeans (Genes) are past down from parent to offspring' 'My jeans (genes) are blue' 'Sydney Sweeney has great jeans (genes)' Nothing is ever a coincidence, this is eugenics'; TikTok named Angie under the handle @vital_media_marketing then reviewed the ad and pointed out what she felt were problematic elements with the underlying message. Angie said: 'As it's panning up her body and on her face and her features, she's literally talking about her family tree and the genetics that have been handed down to her, her blonde hair and her blue eyes, and how great they are.' Many people panned the tone of the ad campaign on American Eagle's Instagram page, as one user quipped, It's giving "Subtle 1930's Germany."' Yet many were quick to defend Sydney, branding the backlash 'unhinged'. They shared on X/Twitter: 'I'm not sure how to say this nicely but if you think a jeans ad with a pun about Sydney Sweeney being pretty is a nazi dogwhistle you genuinely need to put the phone down for a while.'; 'everyone is seriously reading too much into this and y'all need to go take a hike or something because sydney sweeney is literally just promoting jeans, not 'nazi propaganda'' 'The claim that Sydney Sweeney's American Eagle ad is pro-eugenics because of a 'good genes/jeans' pun is genuinely unhinged. It's a denim campaign, not a manifesto. Not every blonde with blue eyes is a Nazi. Some of you need a history book — and a nap'; 'You guys don't have to like Sydney Sweeney or the ways she promotes herself but don't you think comparing those Jean commercials to nazi propaganda is a tad extreme?' Daily Mail has reached out to reps for Sweeney and American Eagle for further comment on the story. Sweeney said in a July 23 news release about the fall campaign: 'There is something so effortless about American Eagle.' She said of the clothier: 'It's the perfect balance of being put-together but still feeling like yourself.' The Euphoria star continued: 'Their commitment to creating pieces that make you feel confident and comfortable in your own skin is something that resonates with me. 'It's rare to find a brand that grows with you, the way American Eagle has for generations.' The Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood actress wrapped up in saying, 'They have literally been there with me through every version of myself.' American Eagle Outfitters president Jennifer Foyle opened up about the ad campaign, which is slated to raise money for domestic violence charities, in the news release. 'This fall season, American Eagle is celebrating what makes our brand iconic – trendsetting denim that leads, never follows,' Foyle said. 'Innovative fits and endless versatility reflect how our community wears their denim: mixed, matched, layered and lived in.' The fashion executive explained why Sweeney made for the perfect focal point of the promotion. 'With Sydney Sweeney front and center, she brings the allure, and we add the flawless wardrobe for the winning combo of ease, attitude and a little mischief,' Foyle said.

Disney and Universal dethroned as top theme parks by little-known rival

In a big win for a small-town Tennessee treasure, Dollywood has been crowned the best amusement park in the US for the second year in a row. TripAdvisor's annual list, based on thousands of traveler reviews, ranks Dollywood above giants like Disney's Magic Kingdom and Universal's Islands of Adventure. 'We don't provide the best guest experience in the country to try to win these awards. We do it because it is the right thing to do,' said Dollywood president Eugene Naughton. 'This award from TripAdvisor is humbling though, because it is derived from reviews left by our actual guests describing their time here at our parks and resorts.' Disney's Magic Kingdom came in second once again, with Hollywood Studios landing in fourth. But despite Disney's enormous crowds — the Orlando parks draw up to 58 million guests a year, compared to Dollywood's 3 million — it was the Smoky Mountains park that won visitors' hearts. Knoebels Amusement Resort in Pennsylvania jumped from eighth to third place, followed by Universal's Islands of Adventure, Fun Spot America, and Silver Dollar City. Whale's Tale Waterpark in New Hampshire cracked the top 10, nudging out Busch Gardens. Dollywood defeated Disney and Universal theme parks for the second year in a row TripAdvisor reviewers praised Dollywood not only for its rides but for its warmth, affordability, and charm. One visitor described it as 'a place to celebrate Dolly Parton's life,' blending Southern hospitality with thrill rides and family fun. Tickets to Dollywood range from $92 to $132, with water park access available for an additional $10. Meanwhile, some Disney fans are pushing back against the rankings — and recent park changes. Gavin Doyle, founder of Disney news site called Disneyland 'the most charming and impressive theme park resort in the US,' and questioned why it didn't make the top list. 'Dollywood is a great small theme park... but Walt Disney World delivers a great vacation experience at impressive scale,' he told Daily Mail. Meanwhile, Forbes also named Dollywood the top US employer for women, based on surveys of more than 140,000 women across large companies. 'We are proud of the ways we've empowered women across our organization — from leadership development to flexible scheduling and mentorship programs,' said Dollywood vice president of human resources Susan Loveday. Disney World has faced backlash from fans who were furious over its price hikes and ride removals Disney has faced criticism for high prices and the axing of rides. One guest was furious after paying $1,394.91 for a 'bargain' day out at Disney with his family of four. Fans also criticised the park for its decision to replace Star Wars: Launch Bay with a new experience called The Magic of Disney Animation at Hollywood Studios. Fans have also been grieving the loss of the Muppet Vision 3D show and the removal of Tom Sawyer Island in Frontierland. It is to make room for a highly anticipated Cars land, but it has made guests believe Disney is 'tearing apart' Magic Kingdom.
