Reflecting on his solo endeavours, BTS' J-Hope talked about how deeply involved he was in creating his recent singles.
After taking some time off following his discharge from the military, Jung Hoseok, aka J-Hope, returned to the music scene with three back-to-back singles. With Sweet Dreams feat. Miguel, Mona Lisa and Killin' It Girl, the BTS rapper and dancer blended different music styles with his signature flair and unforgettable dance moves, proving why he is an ace in the field.
Following his appearance on Inkigayo, the 31-year-old took to Weverse on Sunday, June 22, and shared a heartfelt letter with his fans. Reflecting on his solo endeavours, J-Hope talked about how deeply involved he was in creating his recent singles and added that he was fully immersed in every part of the process. He also talked about Lollapalooza Berlin, the only thing left in his solo schedule, sharing that he is ready to 'burn things up once more" and show his fans a 'more experienced version" of himself.
'Looks like I'm not going to be able to stop thinking about it all. It's probably because of all the many processes I had to go through, but it's also maybe because I feel a resonance within me even deeper than what you've expressed for me," he began his letter, translated by a BTS fan page. J-Hope added, 'All artists probably work with the same love and affection, but I don't know. I think I have a bit more. I seem to have gotten particularly immersed in my work."
The rapper explained that more than anything, he wanted to give his best for his millions of fans, the ARMY. He said, 'When I think about who's watching, who's listening, who's giving their love and attention, and not to mention, who's consuming, and dedicating their time, in the end, you guys, our ARMY, are at the heart of it all! Right.. of course, it's obvious!! But I also think that treating it as 'obvious', as a given, is something that I have to be really careful not to do."

Furthermore, J-Hope shared that for eight months since his discharge, he had only focused on his solo music and performances. He made sure every detail was just right. Throughout this journey, the BTS star added that he 'really learnt a lot, felt a lot, and I think that the attitude I've gained is going to make me consider and approach my next steps with even more care."
Towards the end of his letter, J-Hope looked back in time when BTS announced their hiatus in 2022 and began their military enlistments. Since then, he mentioned that he has grown as a person. He said, 'I've experienced being sick, and tried healing myself, and felt a great sense of accomplishment, and developed confidence. I've also developed a sense of belief in myself and my loving fans. I think I've become stronger and secure! It's all thanks to you. Truly!!!!"
