They faced British duo Joshua Paris and Eden Silva on Court 18 on Sunday.
However, Galloway had to withdraw from the match at the end of the first set because of his finger being in agony.
Facing Paris' serve at 3-2, the ball clipped the net on its way into the service box, prompting a let.
So with the ball dead and out of play, and the direction changed by the let cord, Galloway tried to save time by grabbing the tennis ball as it hurtled towards him.

But while the incident happens in many matches, it very rarely leads to anything of note.
However, on this occasion, Galloway, 32, did not take the catch cleanly.
Instead, the ball jarred the end of his finger awkwardly.
And that immediately left the American wincing in pain and shaking his hand in agony.

Galloway knew something was wrong and at the next change of ends, signalled to his camp that he had done damage.
Both his partner and opponents looked on worried as the Wimbledon physio was called to come and check on him.

In the end, the two-shot swing came at the 17th, where Scheffler brushed in a 27-footer to get to six under as McIlroy bunkered his approach and made bogey to slip back to three under. McIlroy and Scheffler both found sand at the 18th but as the American got up and down, the Masters champion caromed off the grandstand behind the green and made the resulting 17-footer for birdie to stay in touch. Shane Lowry made two birdies and two bogeys in a level par 70 where he battled a lukewarm putter after also three putting the 14th. The Offaly man was tied for 23rd with the likes of US Ryder Cup skipper Keegan Bradley and European wildcard candidate Harry Hall.

Now, Alexander Isak is at war with Newcastle as he tries to force a move to champions Liverpool. In the summer of 2011, Modric wanted Chelsea — only to end up staying at Tottenham for another year. Aer Lingus College Football Classic 2025: All you need to know about ‘Farmageddon'
Kansas State and Iowa State are bringing their long-running rivalry – known as Farmageddon – across the Atlantic for Saturday's showdown, which also marks the official start of the US college football season. Both side will be bringing marching bands, cheerleaders and thousands of fans, turning Dublin into a mini slice of the American mid-west. Pep rallies, pub takeovers and school visits are all on the agenda in the run-up to the big game. Here's everything you need to know: When and where is it on? The Kansas State Wildcats face the Iowa State Cyclones at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday, August 23. The game will begin at 5pm. Are there any tickets left? A limited number remain on Ticketmaster, but organisers are warning that the stadium will be close to capacity. How do I pay for food and drink at the event? The Aviva Stadium is cashless across all bars and food outlets for this and all future matches. This means there will be no cash accepted, but all bank cards, Apple, Android and Google Pay are accepted. This change will mean faster service, shorter queue times, faster transaction time and means the staff won't be handling cash. ADVERTISEMENT Can I bring a bag? With the exception of small handbags (no bigger than A4), no bags will be allowed into the stadium. Handbags will be subject to search. How to get to the stadium The Aviva Stadium is within walking distance (25 minutes) of the city centre and has good public transport links. The Dart rail link offers a service to and from Lansdowne Road Station which is immediately adjacent to the Aviva. The Aviva Stadium is also serviced by several bus routes, including the 4, 7, and 7a, and Dublin Bus will provide an enhanced bus service for these routes from the city centre. For those coming from abroad to see the game, it's advised to purchase a Leap Card or return ticket in advance to avoid delays on public transport. Will there be road closures? A garda traffic cordon will be in place around the Aviva Stadium on Saturday, August 23, with local roads closed from 12.45pm (Lansdowne Park, Lansdowne Lane, Lansdowne Road to Herbert Bridge, Herbert Road, Newbridge Avenue, Bath Avenue and Londonbridge Road) and further closures from 3pm (the rest of Lansdowne Road, Shelbourne Road, Beatty's Avenue and Ballsbridge Avenue). Parking will be strictly restricted, with tow trucks in operation. Fans are urged to use public transport or park-and-ride facilities as on-street spaces near the stadium will be extremely limited. Accessible parking is available via Herbert Road, but must be used two hours before kick-off. Supporters should allow extra time for ticket checks and searches, follow garda and steward directions, and respect local residents by avoiding illegal parking and anti-social behaviour. Can I watch the game from home? The match won't be available free-to-air in Ireland, but ESPN will be showing it live. Aer Lingus will also unveil a new commercial during the broadcast, featuring the team mascots trying their hand at a trad music session. The Classic has become a regular fixture in Dublin's sporting calendar and a major tourism boost. This year's event is expected to be worth around €130m to the local economy.
