Ayden Sng becomes cafe owner in new China reality show uSweet, Entertainment News
Local actor Ayden Sng is training to be a cafe owner in the China reality show uSweet, also known as Wei Xiao Yi Hao Dian .
In multiple teasers and posts released on streaming platform iQiyi's Weibo and YouTube accounts on May 23, the 31-year-old is introduced as a participant of the upcoming show.
In one of Ayden's Weibo posts, he wrote: "In uSweet, I will use all of my concentration on developing bakery items and drinks, to present the most perfect dishes to everyone."
Ayden is also seen introducing himself in a teaser trailer released online.
uSweet revolves around 35 young men who undergo a month of professional training including business management, product development and customer service, and are divided into groups to travel to different cities in China to run a cafe.
Some of the judges and trainers include former Exo member and businessman Huang Zitao, director-actor Tang Guoqiang and singer-host Wu Yi.
In multiple fancam videos on Xiaohongshu, Ayden operates a cafe in Chinese city Harbin with three participants.
In one of them, he introduces their products, including cakes and biscuits, to a fan in a gentle voice.
His fanclub The Baeden Club also captured some shots of him manning the cashier and preparing croissants in an Instagram post on May 17.
On May 20, he is seen playing Taiwanese singer-songwriter WeiBird's song Red Scarf on his erhu outside the cafe to the cheers of fans and customers.
While there is no release date yet for uSweet, it is expected to be out on streaming platform iQiyi this year.

Former Fahrenheit band member Jiro Wang was spotted at the Merlion Park yesterday (May 27), a few days after he attended Lady Gaga's concert on May 24. In multiple posts on Xiaohongshu yesterday, the 43-year-old Taiwanese singer-actor is seen posing for photos at the tourist attraction. Some fans also approached him for photos there and at a building near The Fullerton Hotel, which he obliged to. Since last weekend, Jiro has also been posting Instagram Stories of him staying at a hotel overlooking a lush forest. While he only tagged his location as Singapore, from the photos he shared, the accommodation appeared to be the Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree, which just opened in April. Zheng Geping gets surprise birthday celebration on drama set, Entertainment News
He thought it was time to film, only to be surprised with a chorus. Local actor Zheng Geping turned 61 yesterday (May 27), and his family as well as the crew and cast members on the set of their drama The Cellphone Swap threw him a surprise celebration. In a video posted on his Instagram account, his actress wife Hong Huifang brings out what appears to be a chocolate cake while the crew, his daughter Tay Ying, son Calvert and soon-to-be son-in-law Wu Sihan sing him a birthday song. "I thought they brought my scene forward before lunch break, didn't expect this! I was caught off-guard!" said Geping in the caption. According to Tay Ying, it was planned by the production team and she thanked them for involving the family in the "sweet surprise".
