Salman Khan launched her, but actress Zareen Khan now says no to Bigg Boss 19. Her reason is brutally honest
may have introduced her to Bollywood, but Zareen Khan has no plans of joining him on reality TV. The Veer actress, who made her Hindi film debut opposite Salman in 2010, has revealed that she was approached for
Bigg Boss
19—but flatly turned it down. Her reason isn't sugar-coated. In fact, it's as real as it gets.
In an interview with Hindi Rush, Zareen confirmed she was offered a spot on the upcoming season of Bigg Boss but declined it due to her own temperament and personal responsibilities. 'I can't live in a house full of strangers,' she admitted, adding that she's not the kind to quietly endure misbehaviour. She also joked that if someone talks to her the wrong way, she may hit the person, which would result in her early eviction from the house.

Beyond her zero-tolerance policy for drama, Zareen also cited her real-life commitments. In the same interview, she shared that she loves watching Bigg Boss, but she won't uproot her life for three months since she has many responsibilities which are not finance-related. She added that even a one-day trip leaves her checking in on her mother several times a day.

Her journey after Veer
Zareen shot to fame as Salman's co-star in Veer, and later appeared in films like Housefull 2, Hate Story 3, Aksar 2, 1921, and Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele. She also made a mark in regional cinema with the Telugu film Chanakya.
What's new in Bigg Boss 19?
While Zareen is steering clear of the Bigg Boss house, this season promises major changes, starting with the introduction of Habubu, an AI-powered robot doll from UAE-based IFCM. Clad in traditional Arabic attire and equipped to speak Hindi among other languages, Habubu is being touted as the franchise's most unexpected and tech-savvy "contestant" yet.
The casting buzz doesn't stop there. Social media personality Apoorva Mukhija, aka Rebel Kid, confirmed she was approached for the show, responding with, 'Never say never' when asked about her participation. Actor Ram Kapoor, however, was quick to shut down any speculation, firmly stating that not even Rs 20 crore could convince him to join.
Meanwhile, singer
Sreerama Chandra
, who impressed viewers on
Indian Idol
5 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, is reportedly in advanced talks with the producers. Having already made waves on Bigg Boss Telugu 5, where he was a finalist, the makers seem eager to rope in someone with both credibility and charm.
Adding to the intrigue is the rumoured inclusion of Munmun Dutta, better known as Babita from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Though she's been approached multiple times over the years, the buzz around her potential entry this season is louder than ever.

Sonu Sood gives Fish Venkat's family ₹1.50 lakh to help them after his death, assures them of his support
Beloved Tollywood actor and comedian Fish Venkat died in Hyderabad on 18 July after hospitalisation due to kidney issues. He passed away even as his family pleaded with Tollywood stars to help them financially and to help them find him a kidney donor. Sonu Sood gave the family ₹1.50 lakh after his death, assuring them of his support, as per a press note sent by his team. Sonu Sood has assured late actor Fish Venkat's family of financial and moral support. Sonu Sood gives Fish Venkat's family ₹ 1.50 lakh Sonu provided financial support to Venkat's family after his death due to a kidney issue, reads the note. He had offered help, hoping that the actor was still in the hospital, and was shocked to know he had died due to deteriorating health. After learning the news of his death, Sonu transferred ₹1.50 lakh to Venkat's family to help tide them over. He even spoke to Venkat's family members, especially his wife, over the phone, assuring them of his support even in the future. Venkat's wife seemed relieved and happy to receive the help, given that her husband was quite fond of Sonu. Venkat was 53, and he was admitted to the ICU earlier this month due to kidney failure. He was surviving on dialysis. His family members were hoodwinked by someone claiming to be Prabhas' manager and offering help when they approached the media. However, soon actors like Vishwak Sen and Sonu stepped up to support him. Pawan had previously also given the family some money when he had learnt of Venkat's ill health. His family had previously told the media that they were struggling financially and needed ₹50 lakh for the transplant. Recent work Venkat was last seen in the film Coffee with a Killer this year, and it is unknown if he had shot any other films before his death. Sonu wrote, directed and produced the Hindi film Fateh this year. A previously shelved project, Madha Gaja Raja with Vishal in Tamil, was also revived and released this year.
