Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. (CLF) Wants To Lower Its Debt, Says Jim Cramer

We recently published . Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. (NYSE:CLF) is one of the stocks Jim Cramer recently discussed. Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. (NYSE:CLF) is an American steel manufacturer whose shares have gained 16.7% year-to-date. July has been a good month for the stock as it has gained 17.4% since the 18th. Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. (NYSE:CLF)'s shares have gained on the back of a strong earnings report, which saw the firm share that it expects greater-than-expected demand from the key automobile sector. Cramer discussed Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. (NYSE:CLF) in the context of recent remarks made by the firm's CEO: 'I mean I talked to Cleveland-Cliffs last night. To Lorenzo Goncalves. And he needs capital. He absolutely wants to lower the amount of debt. But he's also conscious that it would be incredibly dilutive. In his earlier remarks, the CNBC TV host discussed Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. (NYSE:CLF) after its quarterly earnings: 'What do we make of this incredible comeback in Cleveland-Cliffs stock today, the vertically integrated steel maker focused on value-added steel products, particularly for the auto industry. This stock plunged from the low 20s early last year down to five bucks and change this past May when President Trump approved, and you know I'm against this, the Nippon Steel acquisition of U.S. Steel, which Cleveland-Cliffs also wanted to buy. But shortly after the deal was approved, Cliffs got a gift from the administration. The president doubled the tariff on steel imports from 25% to 50%. In response, the stock jumped 23% in a single session. And it's never looked back because, well, the president may have saved the industry, and it exploded higher once again today, up more than 12% when Cleveland-Cliffs reported a better-than-expected quarter. There's a sense that business will only get better as we process the higher steel tariffs.' While we acknowledge the potential of CLF as an investment, our conviction lies in the belief that some AI stocks hold greater promise for delivering higher returns and have limited downside risk. Here's What It Costs To Charge a Tesla Monthly vs. Using Gas for a Chevy Equinox

Thinking of making the switch to an electric vehicle (EV)? It's the more environmentally friendly option, but does it actually save money? Read Next: Learn More: Tesla sells the two top-selling EVs, the Model Y and the Model 3, according to U.S. News. The gas-powered Chevrolet Equinox was the third top-selling 2025 SUV, U.S. News reported. Here's a comparison of the costs to charge a Tesla versus the cost to fill up a Chevrolet Equinox with gas. Also see whether it costs more to charge a Tesla Model 3 or a Tesla Model Y. How Much Does It Cost To Charge a Tesla at Home? Though Tesla drivers get to skip visiting the gas station, they still have to pay charging costs. How much those are depends on how drivers charge their cars. For those who charge their vehicles at home, they'll first need to buy a charger for their Tesla. According to Tesla's website, a wall connector costs $420, while installation can cost between $750 and $1,500. Once that's installed, though, Tesla drivers can charge their EV right from home. To give a Tesla a full charge, the cost of electricity depends on the model. To give a Model Y Performance a full charge, for example, it will cost around $10.98, according to SolarReviews. The Federal Highway Administration reported that drivers in the United States average about 1,133 miles per month, and the Model Y has a range of 357, per Tesla's website. So it'd need to be charged about three times a month, which would cost drivers about $33 to charge at home. Check Out: How Much Does It Cost To Charge a Tesla at a Charging Station? On a long road trip, Tesla drivers will most likely have to stop at a charging station. There, they can use Superchargers, which give the cars a full charge in around 15 minutes. Of course, that speed and convenience is costly. To fully charge a Model Y Performance, SolarReviews reported it will cost anywhere from $17.81 to $42.75, not including any fees. Using the same figures for the average number of miles driven each month and the Model Y's range, that means drivers would spend between $53.43 and $128.25 per month at a charging station. Ultimately, though, how much it will cost exactly to charge a Tesla really depends on where drivers live, how much they drive, what electricity costs in their area and which Tesla model they're driving. How Much Does It Cost To Buy Gas for a Chevy Equinox? The national average gas price is around $3.14 a gallon, per AAA. To get a full tank of gas for a Chevy Equinox, drivers will need to get 14.8 gallons, so that comes out to $46.47. The Chevy Equinox gets 26 miles per gallon, according to Car and Driver, which gives drivers about 385 miles per tank. Using the same average figure from the Federal Highway Administration, that means Equinox drivers would have to fill up about three times a month on average, costing about $139 total. As with Tesla charging costs, the cost to fill up a Chevy Equinox will depend on how much it's driven and where a driver is filling up, as costs vary by location. A Tesla will cost more upfront, with higher purchase prices and charger installation costs. However, drivers could see savings in their monthly costs. Chevy Equinox drivers can expect to spend over $100 filling up each month if they drive the average number of miles. While Tesla charging costs vary quite a bit, the average costs for a Model Y still come in lower.
