Chinese actor Zhao Lusi, known for popular shows like Hidden Love and The Romance of Tiger and Rose, has accused her management agency Galaxy KU Media, of emotional and financial manipulation at a time when she was severely ill. In a post shared on Weibo, Zhao Lusi accused them of making financial transactions on her behalf without her authorisation. In another livestream, Zhao claimed that instead of providing her with medical support, the team locked her in a hotel room when her health was rapidly deteriorating.
Zhao shared a detailed account of her troubles and claimed that the agency withdrew 2.05 million yuan (around $350k) from her studio's account after they made her team sign off on a split earning system. She claimed that the studio was dismantled without her consent and they refused to return the operational control even when she repeatedly asked for it. Zhao claimed that she was warned against speaking out or taking any legal action, and was told that she would be 'blacklisted' if she went public with her accusations. 'They told me I might be blacklisted and should stay quiet. Is that what they call a solution?' she asked.
Zhao shared that after she fell ill, the agency that had previously assured her of their support, left her alone to bear all financial losses. She also claimed that they refused to terminate her contract so she was stuck in a financial mess while dealing with her ill health. It has been reported that Zhao's health started deteriorating in December 2023 while she was filming Almost Lover. Reportedly, her health went down so rapidly that she lost the ability to walk and talk. Fans of the actor claim that she was shooting with oxygen support and was using a wheelchair while on set, and all this while, she was being pushed to shoot by her management agency.

Days after she accused Galaxy KU Media of financial manipulation, she conducted a livestream where she claimed that they denied her any medical care during her illness. They allegedly said she was 'cursed' and 'locked' her in a hotel room. 'I was sick, and instead of taking me to see a doctor, you locked me in a hotel,' she said.
Fans of the actor have been putting together a timeline to show that the actor was severely sick when she was being forced to work by her agency, and have been sharing her old posts where she hinted that she was being mistreated by her agency. Reportedly, the posts go as far back as 2019.
As per these reports, she allegedly sent an SOS message in December 2022 to her friend Zhirui. Her condition, as per reports, was revealed as aphasia — a condition that impacts speech. However, later Zhao's close friend, Song Nanxi, alleged that the actor has been emotionally abused by the head of Galaxy KU Media for years. These allegations were repeated by her stylist and assistant, who claim she has received bad treatment for years.

BTS' RM on craving a ‘simple life' to feel alive; reveals why he can't do it for long: ‘I feel becoming closer to my true self when…'

BTS' RM, aka Kim Namjoon, recently graced the cover of Harper's Bazaar Korea for their September edition. With pre-orders surging on Weverse, the magazine dropped preview images and excerpts offering a glimpse into the Indigo hitmaker's reflections on life, post-military thoughts, and how stepping into the world of luxury as a brand ambassador shifted his perspective, from camera-shy idol to someone searching for more depth in photographs. The three photos released show RM in bold form, blending his artistic vision with high-fashion glamour. With a presence more confident than ever, the shots pop with colour and style tailored to match the rapper's vibe, popular yet grounded. Also read: BTS' RM says mental health worsened amid HYBE issues, had to rely on pills: 'I cried all night, kept saying I was going to die' In a later interview with the magazine, RM admitted that representing a brand isn't exactly easy at this point in his life. The rapper, now the first-ever brand ambassador for Bottega Veneta and recently tapped as global ambassador for Samsung Art TV, reflected on how his relationship with the camera has shifted. 'Back then, I wanted to look photogenic, so I'd practice poses and expressions alone in front of the mirror,' he said (Via Osen) 'Now, having my picture taken feels heavier, more of a task.' Still, he said, teaming up with familiar names, 'favourite media, photographers, staff', made the process easier. 'Once I did it, I felt proud. I even enjoyed it.' Also read: 'We bet on J-Hope after Doja Cat said no': Lollapalooza organiser admits not realising how big BTS was; Katseye rules the fest three years later The rapper, known for answering questions with a kind of blunt honesty that even he admits makes his agency squirm sometimes, was asked what makes him feel most alive, especially now, with the spotlight constantly on him. RM revealed two sides of himself: 'As RM of BTS, it's when I'm performing, or when I just released an album, or when I stand in front of my fans in my most confident and proud way.' But then there's the other side, as Kim Namjoon, who craves the quiet, the unbothered life. 'As Kim Namjoon, it's when I feel like I'm becoming closer to my true self without hesitation while being with people I like. Or when I'm doing what I want in a place where no one recognises me.' Namjoon's thing for travel and wandering through art galleries isn't a secret, but he's honest about the limits of it. 'Travelling seems to be the closest thing to that, but honestly, I can't stay long and want to come home soon. And working on music again makes me feel alive again.' RM has spoken in the past about the strange mix of love and resentment that fame brings. As the leader of one of the most influential groups in the world, he's been honest about the weight that comes with it. He's questioned why so many musicians write about love, and why they keep returning to it. In a 2023 appearance on Cold's Blue Room, he said, 'As we're living in a social world, it's become very easy to express emotions of hatred and despise. I think it's gross to see someone who has so much hateful energy toward someone else. I mean, of course, we can talk about sadness and hatred, but at the end of the day, speaking of love and spreading love and positive energy is a virtue, and that's what I believe so.' On the work front, BTS is gearing up for a 2026 comeback with a new album. The group is currently filming in the U.S. for their next release.

BTS' Jimin's solo song Letter gets stolen on music platforms, fans demand swift correction: ‘Take immediate action'

BTS' Jimin has showcased his solo musical abilities with the release of 2 individual albums, FACE and MUSE, which were released consecutively in the years 2023 and 2024. Marking his first official solo venture away from his team, FACE saw the star drop a six-song tracklist, but what came as a surprise was the seventh, hidden track called Letter. Now, 2 years after the release of the song, it has been 'stolen' by someone who goes by the artist name 'Mirry3m' across music platforms. The BTS ARMY have called out this blatant copyright infringement and demanded it be rightfully named under the singer's artist profile. Jimin's Letter to fans claimed by unknown person Fans have noticed that the accused version of BTS member Jimin's solo track Letter, a fan song that the singer aimed at them, was incorrectly added under the name Miryusif Mammadli (Mirry3m) on Spotify, YouTube, TikTok, Amazon Music, Deezer, and Indiefy. Taking to social media, the BTS ARMY has now demanded that the rightful owner of the song, aka Jimin, get the credit for it on his music profile. Reporting it as 'stolen', the fans are also asking for action against the owner of the unrelated person involved in the case. The track, while hidden, appears only on the physical version of the FACE album and hence was not made digitally available for the listeners who had not bought the record. A common tactic to encourage and boost physical album sales, FACE managed to sell a total of 1.45 million copies across platforms, with a million of those coming right in the first week. Interestingly, over 940,000 of these were acquired by the fans right on the release day of the album.
