Channel 4's Gogglebox fans were gearing up for a fresh episode on Friday night when two of the show's beloved stars made a surprise announcement on social media.
Jane and Simon Minty, the sibling duo from the series, shared a video to break the news that the current series was wrapping up.
From their couch, Simon announced: "Hello everybody, it's the end of the series tonight. Oh my goodness, that's gone really quickly."
Jane chimed in with: "It's flown by, but you can get the last one, Friday night, nine o'clock on Channel 4, and we will be back for the next series!"
The pair concluded the video with an enthusiastic 'whoop', a wave, and well-wishes for a happy summer to all their fans, reports Wales Online.
Viewers didn't hesitate to express their disappointment at the series ending, with comments pouring in.
One viewer expressed: "I'll miss you guys. You're the highlight of my Friday evenings!"
Another commented: "Wait... what! ? What am I supposed to do on Friday nights after tonight?"

And another fan assured: "I'll be watching [sic]"
While season 25 is drawing to a close, Simon teased that viewers could look forward to a 'best of the series' special airing the following Friday (30th May).
Simon captioned the video post: "Blimey, it can't be already? Yep, last episode of this series #Gogglebox tonight.
"Should be a goody. We still have the 'Best of the Series' episode next week. Thank you for all your kindness, support and, of course, watching. Take care."

There are also reports that a new Celebrity edition of the show is set to air at the beginning of June, although the line-up remains under wraps.
Last year, Gogglebox enthusiasts were treated to appearances from Happy Monday stars Shaun Ryder and Bez, Zoe Ball and her son Woody, comedians Josh Widdicombe and Stephen Merchant, as well as Jeff and Bobby Brazier.
Gogglebox is available to watch on All4.

JoJo Siwa says she'll NEVER break up with Chris Hughes saying their relationship is ‘earthquake proof'

JOJO Siwa has admitted that she'll NEVER break-up with Chris Hughes - as she described their relationship as "earthquake proof". The new couple have been enjoying a whirlwind romance after meeting in the Celebrity Big Brother house in March. Now, in a new interview, JoJo, 22, has revealed just how far her special connection with Chris, 32, really goes. Joining presenter Jordan North on Capital Breakfast this week, the Dance Moms star said: "You know what's interesting? As hectic as life is, and as much as that noise goes on, I feel like Christopher and I discovered this beautiful house together. "And this house is earthquake proof, and it's fireproof, and bulletproof. "And you know, we discovered this house and found the keys, and we took the keys and locked ourselves in, and now it's like... You know what I mean? I feel like that with myself, I feel like that with him." Jordan then quizzed JoJo on whether she had found her 'happy place' with Chris. The US star gushed: "Oh my god, absolutely! We're having the best time. He's just the best! "I was saying this to my parents the other day. Like, I'm decently nice; he makes me look like I'm mean! "And I'm like known for being nice, that's the thing. People say to me, 'Oh, you're so nice'. "He makes me we want to be nicer, because he's such a nice human. He's the best egg in the batch! I could never get tired of speaking highly of him, he's just the best." During their trip to the countryside to meet Chris's parents last week, the couple couldn't keep their hands off each other as the Love Island hunk was pictured kissing JoJo on the neck. Yesterday JoJo said she is"shocked" at how close the pair have them have become in such a short amount of time. Speaking to Billboard, JoJo said: "It blows my mind that 30 days ago I would never have even imagined that I would be friends with Chris Hughes, that's the weirdest thing, much less be one of the closest people too me now in my life who I would die for. "I think its a combination of the shared experience but also in Big Brother, you have no phone, no outside communication, no distraction, nothing. "You only have each other. I love connecting and I love people and when someone comes into your life and you enjoy it, you can tell." LOVED-UP TRIP JoJo's interview comes fresh from a cosy weekend she spent with Chris and his family in the Cotswolds. The YouTuber shared their time together on social media, which included a series of loved-up snaps with the Love Island hunk. In one of the snaps, Chris could be seen picking his girlfriend up and carrying her, whilst in another they held hands. JoJo described holding her boyfriend's hand as "the one thing that can make everything better". She also shared pictures of the pair enjoying breakfast and cups of tea as she relaxed at Chris' family home. MISSING HER MAN JoJo, who fell for Chris in the Celebrity Big Brother house, said she struggled to go back to normal life without Chris when she returned to the US for a month. But now the American star, who hails from Nebraska, plans to spend more time in the UK. The couple also spent time together when JoJo was in England for her tour. The happy couple drove fans wild with an intimate backstage moment in a post to TikTok when the pair were seen hugging each other, holding hands and putting bracelets on each other. 4 4

Sean 'Diddy' Combs' lawyer makes his ex-girlfriend read loving texts until she cries

A defense lawyer for hip-hop entrepreneur Sean 'Diddy' Combs had his ex-girlfriend read aloud a slew of loving text messages she'd sent him over the past few years until she broke down in tears Wednesday on the witness stand. The second day of cross-examination by attorney Teny Geragos seemed aimed at supporting the defense position that the woman, who testified under the pseudonym ' Jane,' was a willing participant in the sometimes-weekly sex with male sex workers that Combs directed and watched for hours. Geragos and Jane read aloud dozens of text messages exchanged during a relationship that stretched from 2021 until Combs was arrested last September. At one point, Jane read a text saying she had 'never had a man take care of me like you do' and professing her unending love for the entertainment icon — before Jane stopped reading and began sniffling, then dabbed tears from her eyes with a tissue. After prosecutors objected and requested a sidebar conversation with the judge away from the jury, Jane sat slumped in the witness chair, hair hanging over one side of her face. At the defense table, Combs was quietly reading from one of the TV monitors in front of him. It was the fifth day of testimony for Jane, who has said she still loves Combs. She previously discussed gaining insight into her relationship with Combs after three months of therapy. Jane also said she never wanted to have sex with any man except Combs but did so to please him. At other points on Wednesday, Geragos elicited from Jane that she frequently became angry at Combs and wanted to end their relationship because she got upset that he was treating other girlfriends better. In one instance, Jane acknowledged, the Bad Boy Records founder even bought another girlfriend jewelry that was a matching set to jewelry he had given Jane. Prosecutors say they charged Combs with sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy because he used threats, drugs and violence to force women into unwelcome sexual experiences and used his employees and associates to help him get what he wanted. Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty. If convicted, he faces 15 years to life in prison. The testimony Wednesday came during a shortened day in the courtroom that began in the afternoon. Geragos said she expected to finish her cross-examination Thursday morning. Assistant U.S. Attorney Maurene Comey, who is leading the prosecution, said the government expects to rest its case as early as next Wednesday. Defense attorney Marc Agnifilo would not outline what will occur when the defense gets its turn to call witnesses, saying that will depend on which witnesses the government still calls to the stand, but he said he was confident the trial will end by July Fourth.

EXCLUSIVE Bryan Cranston reveals devastating impact of fame on his marriage to Robin Dearden

Bryan Cranston has opened up about the devastating impact of fame on his marriage to Robin Dearden during an appearance at the Tribeca Film Festival. The Breaking Bad star, who has been married to his wife for 36 years, revealed that he has to 'find ways' to deal with being a celebrity during a Tribeca X talk on Tuesday at Spring Studios in New York City. While on the topic of his success, Cranston, 69, noted to moderator Cynthia Littleton, co-editor-in-chief of Variety, that he was 'very lucky' that 'opportunity grew so fast' early on in his career, but now the opportunities he's presented with are 'larger than' his ambition right now. 'Absolutely, the luck and good fortune I've had creates that ascension of opportunity. But, then you are working just as hard. It's a better way to work than not having a job offer, but the offers are flooding, and you have to then sort and put people off and figure out and go, "Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God. How do I deal with this?"' He continued, 'And then there's the factor of this weird thing called celebrity and fame and what that does, and it offsets your personal relationship. 'I've been married for 36 years and we've seen it like, "Oh wow, what's happening?"' He went on to describe moments his wife has been pushed aside by photographers so that they can get solo photos of him. 'And, "Would you step aside, please?" You know, moving my wife out of the picture or something. And it's like...,' Cranston shared as he made a face of disappointment. The moderator commented, 'That can be a strain,' which prompted Cranston to describe it more as an 'interesting dynamic.' 'It's an interesting dynamic and I find ways to deal with it, and I think that's like anything else. You go, "Okay, by and large, that came with being lucky in my profession."' The actor's wife rarely appears alongside Cranston on red carpets and has appeared to take a step back from her career as an actress in recent years. Her latest role was last year, when she lent her voice to a character in a short animated video The Alchemist of Cecil Street, and before that, she starred in a 2017 comedy film Chicanery. Meanwhile, Cranston just premiered his new film, Everything's Going to Be Great, at the Tribeca Film Festival, and released his new film The Phoenician Scheme. He also stars in Seth Rogen's Apple TV+ series, The Studio. In addition, he has eight other projects in the works, including the much-anticipated Malcolm in the Middle reboot coming later this year, which he teased is 'just as crazy' and 'just as much fun' as the original that first aired 25 years ago. Bryan married Robin, 71, in July 1989 at the age of 35 after meeting on the set of TV show Airwolf and they went on to welcome a daughter Taylor Dearden, who is now 32 years old and recently made her acting debut in the drama series, The Pitt. The couple's only child, Taylor Dearden, recently made her acting debut in a drama series called The Pitt The Studio star still attends couple's therapy sessions with his wife, which is something he admitted to doing over a decade ago. 'I see a [therapist] in L.A. from time to time, when I'm feeling edgy or anxiety-ridden,' he shared. 'And my wife and I go to a couples therapist. Our agreement is, if either of us feels like we want to go, the other can't object. 'For my father's generation, as he literally said, "I'd rather stick needles in my eyes than go to a therapist."' In an interview with People magazine that took place last year, he shared his secret to his long-lasting marriage... 'Marry the right person.' He elaborated, 'I think there are five things that you should look for in a mate. Whatever those five things are to you, you need those five things. After that, let it go. We're never going to be completely alike on everything. 'Someone said, "You don't go shopping with your wife?"' he continued. 'I go, "No! Why would I do that? I don't like it!" I just don't like it and she doesn't like things that I like to do either.' Cranston said that his wife inspired his desire to retire in 2026 since she 'had to pivot and adjust her life' based on his - a bombshell announcement he made with British GQ two years ago. He also said that he hopes to travel more and move to a foreign country for at least six months with Robin. Plus, he plans on shutting down his production company, Moonshot Entertainment, and sell his half of mezcal business Dos Hombres, which he co-founded with his Breaking Bad costar Aaron Paul back in 2019. He elaborated, 'I want to change the paradigm once again. For the last 24 years, Robin has led her life holding onto my tail. 'She's been the plus one, she's been the wife of a celebrity. She's had to pivot and adjust her life based on mine. She has tremendous benefit from it, but we're uneven. I want to level that out. She deserves it.'
