Rapper Yella Beezy charged with capital murder in shooting death of rapper Mo3
HOUSTON (AP) — Dallas rapper Yella Beezy has been arrested and charged with capital murder in the shooting death of fellow rapper Mo3 on a busy interstate in 2020, according to court records.
Yella Beezy, 33, whose real name is Markies Conway, was indicted by a Dallas County grand jury on Tuesday on a charge of capital murder while remuneration. The indictment accuses Conway of hiring a man named Kewon White to murder Mo3, whose real name was Melvin Noble.
The indictment did not provide information on why authorities believe Conway hired White to shoot Noble, who also lived in Dallas.
Court records did not list an attorney who could speak on behalf of Conway. Calls and emails to representatives for Conway were not immediately returned.
In a Facebook post after Conway's arrest, Noble's mother, Nichole Williams Noble wrote, 'Justice for my baby!!!!'
The 28-year-old Noble was driving on Interstate 35 in south Dallas on Nov. 11, 2020, when authorities allege White drove up next to him and got out of his vehicle with a gun in his hand. Noble got out of his vehicle and began running south on the freeway as White shot at him, authorities said. Noble and a bystander who was inside a car were shot by White, police said. The bystander survived but Noble died at a hospital.
White and another man, Devin Brown, 32, were later indicted in Noble's death. Their cases related to Noble's death remain pending. White, 26, was sentenced in 2022 in a separate case to nearly nine years in federal prison after pleading guilty to a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Conway is best known for his 2017 single, 'That's On Me' and the 2019 song 'Bacc At It Again' with Quavo and Gucci Mane.
In October 2018, Conway survived being shot while driving on a tollway in the Dallas suburb of Lewisville when someone pulled up next to him and opened fire, hitting him three times.
Noble had more than 800,000 followers on his Instagram page and was best known for a 2019 remix of the song 'Errybody,' with Baton Rouge, Louisiana, rapper Boosie Badazz.

According to ABC30, Her described the document as being created to help mend the situation between the district and teachers union. In its summary, the district brought forth allegations that the FTA framed Her 'as disingenuous, authoritarian, or incompetent.' 'They utilized that document to say that we had personally targeted the superintendent,' Bonilla said. To support its claims, Fresno Unified compiled a list of quotes taken from local publications, including The Fresno Bee, as well as numerous FTA communications. After the meeting, Bonilla said he and his team reviewed the materials and had some doubts, prompting him to request a digital copy. That's when Bonilla said he confirmed the district used artificial intelligence to create fabricated quotes in news articles. The links to the articles included in the report each end with 'source=chatgpt.' Bonilla said he mentioned these observations during a follow-up sit-down between FTA and FUSD leadership last week. Later that week, Her admitted the document was created with A.I. and not vetted. Her told ABC30 she stood by the sentiment behind the report. 'I want to be completely honest with the public about what's happening. My comms person did use A.I. to help generate the document. I didn't check the document,' Her told the news station. 'But I will say that the gist of it was there, the articles were there, the postings were there.' Henry is on leave through June 9, per an automated email response. The school district has not publicly commented whether Henry's leave was in response to the A.I. incident. The incident was first reported by GV Wire, a local news outlet. Bonilla says the incident is indicative of a larger issue. 'This is just the most clear and egregious example of what so many people have called out in this system for years,' Bonilla said. 'How many times has something like this happened to influence the view of untold number of management and board members about us and our teachers?' He also emphasized that teachers wouldn't accept A.I.-generated work and called for district officials to be held accountable. Specifically, Bonilla said the FTA is seeking an independent investigation, as well as for Henry to be fired for 'the magnitude of the allegation and the egregious nature of the decision.' Fresno Unified officials declined requests for comment by the The Bee and said they would no longer speak about the issue. 'Our current focus remains on student outcomes and finishing the final weeks of the school year strong by celebrating our graduates and their accomplishments,' a district spokesperson said Monday in a statement.

Kewaunee PD seeking suspects allegedly involved in vehicle theft on 2nd Street
KEWAUNEE, Wis. (WFRV) – Officers with the Kewaunee Police Department say they are looking for information or camera footage of two car theft suspects near 2nd Street around 1 a.m. on Sunday. According to a Facebook post, the Kewaunee Police Department states that a vehicle was stolen off of 2nd Street around 12:50 a.m. on June 8. Officers described the two suspects as younger males, one with a white sweatshirt wearing a backpack and one with a blue/black sweatshirt, both with hoods pulled over their heads. Fond du Lac officers investigating shots fired incident near Parish School Apartments The suspects were also seen on 1st Street, Lincoln Street, and in the alley west of 1st Street. Officers are asking anyone with information or camera footage of the suspects to come forward. It was noted that the stolen car was found in a parking lot on Juneau Street and Miller Street. Man shot to death in Bronx park boasted he ‘beat the odds' after Rikers release
A 21-year-old man shot to death in a Bronx park less than three months after being released from Rikers Island recently bragged on Instagram he 'made it out' and 'beat the odds.' Irvin Provitt was about to start classes in a court-ordered education program through the Fortune Society, hoping to resolve a pair of ongoing robbery cases after spending more than a year in jail, his lawyer Paul London told the Daily News. 'The only thing he wanted was to get get out of jail because he feared Rikers,' London said. 'He was a kid. He was 21 … He still needed to grow up.' But all Provitt's future dreams were dashed when he was shot in the head in Crotona Park near E. 173rd St. about 12:45 p.m. May 30. 'He was a young kid who was trying to turn his life around. He was about to be enrolled in a program,' London said. 'To hear that happened was devastating. To lose a young person like that is not a way to lose a young person.' On April 14, Provitt posted photos of himself with a stack of cash on Instagram with the caption, 'I MADE IT OUT. I BEAT THE ODDS.' But Provitt was still reeling from the death of his mother a few years back when he was killed, London said. He was proficient with sign language, the lawyer said, interpreting for his father and his brother, who are both deaf. He was due back in Bronx Criminal Court on June 18 as he continued to fight the two robbery cases he was arrested for at age 19. On Oct. 27, 2022, he and an accomplice allegedly jumped two victims on a Bronx street, with Provitt punching one in the head while his accomplice took the other victim's cell phone, according to the criminal complaint. A second accomplice was present while a third waited behind the wheel of their getaway silver Honda, according to court papers. On Feb. 14, 2023, Provitt piled into a cabbie's SUV with four pals and argued with the driver about the fare after trying to pay with counterfeit money, prosecutors say. Provitt then pulled a gun on the driver while his pals stole $750 from the cabbie's pockets, the criminal complaint charges. 'The robbery case is not as crystal (clear) as the D.A. wants to make it,' London said, adding that his client got hit with the charges merely because he was present for the crimes. Provitt was locked up on $100,000 bail in July 2023 after a bench warrant was ordered in the cases. He was released from Rikers Island on March 7 after posting bond. A series of photos and videos on Instagram after his release captioned 'Fresh start' show Provitt with U.S. Treasury checks made out to other people and bank ATM receipts showing several thousand dollars in his account. Provitt was wearing a surgical mask hanging out with a group of about 20 people inside a playground in the park when he was shot, witnesses said. He died at the scene. Comments left on his Instagram posts after his slaying range from heartfelt condolences to messages and GIFs celebrating his murder, including one saying he 'went poof.' 'I'm sure it does have to do with it,' London said when asked if he thought the negative messages were linked to his unsolved murder. 'The crime in the city has changed dramatically with young kids, where it has become extremely personal with mocking each other.' Provitt's friends were devastated by his slaying. 'He was living his life. He was happy,' said a 20-year-old friend who declined to give her name. 'He was a good kid. Stayed out the way. He was trying to change his life.' That sentiment was echoed by two other pals. 'I grew up with him. That's f—ed up,' one of them said. 'He just came home.' One neighborhood resident, Jennifer Ramos, 34, said the playground where the shooting happened is a trouble spot. 'It's always hot,' she said. 'There's always a lot of gang activity. Especially in the summer time.'
