Ioan Gruffudd's wife Bianca Wallace reveals brutal reality of her pregnancy after his ex-Alice Evans shares reaction to their baby news: 'Some kind of torture'

Daily Mail23-06-2025
's wife, Bianca Wallace, has shared a brutally honest account of her difficult pregnancy journey.
The Australian actress, 32, who is expecting her first child with the Fantastic Four star, 51, took to Instagram to share a raw photo diary and series of emotional videos documenting what she described as 'some kind of torture' during her first trimester.
'Life lately… Some real moments, because no one needs to be as shocked as I was to find out how f**ked pregnancy actually is,' she wrote, alongside 13 images and videos detailing weeks of intense morning sickness and physical pain.
In one confronting clip, Bianca is seen lying in bed with a heat pack, grimacing in pain as she describes how constant vomiting left her bedridden and unable to sleep.
She revealed she vomited so violently she threw her back out for four days, and shared a snap of herself looking pale and drained after throwing up 67 times in one day.

In another photo, she is seen clutching a bowl of cornflakes - one of the only foods she could stomach for weeks.
The post was both a personal confession and a public service announcement.
She reassured others who may be experiencing similarly rough pregnancies, writing: 'You're not crazy! More often than not it isn't just nausea and "morning sickness". It IS sh*t and rough and f**ked and it IS ok to be honest about it!'
Her pregnancy update comes just over a week after Bianca and Ioan announced they were expecting their first child together, posting a sweet black-and-white image of the actor kissing his wife's baby bump.
'Baby Gruffudd poppin' out to say hello!' they captioned the snap, which was met with an outpouring of love from fans and celebrity friends.
But while the couple's news delighted many, it appeared to trigger a scathing response from Ioan's ex-wife Alice Evans, 55, who shared her own cryptic post following the announcement.
Without naming the couple, Alice wrote: 'Some people like to go low. I can't. Not because I'm better. But because I have kids. This s**t is some kind of torture.'
The post sparked speculation among fans that it was a veiled dig at her ex and his new wife, reigniting tensions from the pair's bitter public split.
Ioan and Alice finalised their divorce in July 2023 but remain locked in a fiery legal battle over spousal and child support for their two daughters, Ella, 15, and Elsie, 11.
Court documents have detailed years of alleged abuse, online harassment, and restraining orders.
Bianca was previously granted a three-year domestic violence restraining order against Alice, with Ioan claiming his ex had embarked on a 'smear campaign' against them.
Despite the drama, Ioan and Bianca have pressed on with their life together, sharing footage in April of their low-key wedding ceremony with the caption: 'Mr & Mrs Gruffudd. Marriage now, wedding later.'
Ioan, who currently stars in Bad Boys: Ride or Die, which has grossed over $400 million globally, has denied Alice's claims that she and their children have been left destitute, saying he's paid over $400,000 more than required under their prenup.
Meanwhile, Alice recently revealed she had been evicted from her Los Angeles home, later launching a GoFundMe campaign to help her find housing.
'Thanks to all of you, my girls and I and Emma [the family dog] have a roof over our heads,' she said in a recent update, thanking supporters for their donations.
While Ioan and Bianca continue to navigate the highs and lows of pregnancy – and public scrutiny – the couple appear focused on their growing family, with Bianca finishing her post on a lighter note, sharing that her dog Bubba has become her 'protector' through it all.
'This week… Bubba's still taking his protector job very seriously,' she wrote, sharing an adorable image of the pup curled up next to her baby bump.

The reality star went public with her new romance in September last year, telling fans that she had 'found happiness' after suffering heartbreak on the main series. A source told The Sun Online: "Marilyse is really upset and can't believe she's ended up single again. "She was dumped over text after falling head over heels. "It was a whirlwind romance and in hindsight she feels she was love bombed." 'Lovebombing' is a term used to describe those who try to win over someone's affections by quickly showering them with excessive gestures – including compliments, gifts and declarations of love – in order to 'secure' the person's trust and love. In many cases, lovebombing results in an intense emotional attachment, which some use to then manipulate or control the person involved. Marylise first shot into the public eye by participating in the sixth series of the E4 reality show in 2021. She was matched by the experts with Franky Spencer, a former soldier and a strength and conditioning coach. Despite ups and downs, the pair confirmed their vows in the final episode and planned to move forward together away from the programme, but split four months later after their romance "dried up" and they became "more like friends". Marilyse told The Sun at the time: 'A few weeks after the reunion we went our separate ways, we didn't even fall out, we just mutually agreed that maybe we were not each other's future. Married At First Sight's Franky tells Marilyse When I speak you don't speak. 'It's really sad as we got on really well and Franky has a heart of gold but outside the experiment, I had to think, 'Do I want to be with this person forever?'" Marylise then went on to date Matt Murray, 34, a groom who took part in the MAFS experiment in 2022, and had famously ditched his bride for another on the programme. However, after just six months together they split as well, with Marylise later explaining it felt "too intense". When Marylise went public with her new romance in 2024, she declared she had "found happiness" with the mystery man, posting pictures of them on holiday together. "When you've been on a TV show people think that you're going to be really high maintenance", she said. "They think that you're going to have high expectations, that you're all about the glitz and glam, when actually, I'm completely the opposite. "Yes, I like to go out to an event every few months but I'm totally down to earth and normal. "And I think that being on a TV show means you do attract the wrong kind of people as well." 6 Marylise and Franky split after 'becoming more like friends Credit: Channel 4 6 Marylise later dated 2022 groom, Matt Murray

Rylan Clark sheds light on 'intense' journey as he declares 'love' for ITV co-star

Rylan Clark has gushed over his 'love' for his former ITV co-star, as the pair opened up to one another on the presenter's BBC Radio 2 show Radio host Rylan Clark has openly expressed his love and admiration for his co-star, who he first met while finding fame on an ITV show. The 36-year-old ex-contestant was chatting to the singer-songwriter on his Radio 2 programme about her latest book when he burst into glowing praise. ‌ Rylan was speaking with former X Factor judge Tulisa, 37, following the launch of her new memoir 'Judgement: Love, Trials, and Tribulations', chronicling her life and career journey. ‌ Tulisa rose to stardom as the lead singer of N-Dubz, before penning several books and featuring on various TV shows including I'm A Me Out of Here!. ‌ Chatting to his friend on his BBC Radio 2 programme, fellow writer Rylan showered Tulisa with compliments over her book's brilliant reception. He said: "I've got to say I'm also an author, Tulisa. I'm also an author. So far, it's doing incredible, it's, like, on the Amazon best sellers list already. It's all kicking off. For anyone out there, we had this chat last night, you know I'm a Tulisa fan, I love you to bits. "But for anyone, you don't even need to know who you are to read this story, because it is so intense. It is literally, I can already see the film, clearly, it's going to be Jennifer Lawrence playing you." This marks another occasion the pair have supported one another in the chaotic realm of entertainment. In an Instagram post shared months ago, Rylan declared: "Never been prouder @tulisacontostavlos. From 2012 to now we've been through a lot and I'm so proud we stayed by each others side. Now it's time for everyone to know your truth. ‌ "We've never publicised it, we've just been there for eachother. I'm so happy your words will now be heard by everyone. Tulisa's book Judgement is out now x #Day1 x." In response, Tulisa replied: "Love you will all my heart you beautiful earth angel." (sic) In recent years Tulisa has spoken about the difficult period she endured in the public eye, saying that she had tried to end her own life following being deceived in a sting operation by 'Fake Sheikh' Mazher Mahmood. ‌ Although she faced charges for supplying class A drugs, her case was thrown out when it came to light that Mahmood had lied in court. She revealed that her "year from hell" had driven her to attempt suicide on two occasions. Discussing the ordeal on This Morning, Tulisa said: "The first attempt was quite light in a sense...I was very drunk and I wasn't sure, just go for it, I've had enough. ‌ "It was the second time that after the trial had finished then I had time to really process everything that happened was the real kicker. Surviving that was a miracle." When asked about her feelings in 2025, she said that there were long-term effects on how she interacted with people. Tulisa admitted: "I don't think I'll ever trust in the same way again but I am someone who has a logical head on their shoulders. I hope for the best in people I'm not a negative person, I'm not looking for negative things in someone."
